Not impressed at all. Had no idea this was a "healthy" breakfast place until it was too late. As far as pancakes are concerned, they only have multigrain, although they have blueberry, etc., they do not have buttermilk pancakes. Like a buttermilk pancake ever killed anybody. Give me a break. Bacon was just ok. This place didn't even have caffeinated black tea. I was hungover, needed to wake up and no black tea. Such a shame. The only reason I gave this place two stars instead of one is because of the eggs. The eggs were so good, better than I've had in a very long time. But overall, I won't be back. read more

First and last visit. We were seated in the restaurant right away. Before we even opened the menu the waitress wanted our order. Place seemed busy and very noisy. We almost left because of the noise but I encouraged my husband to stay to give it a try. I ordered the hash with eggs over easy. Husband ordered the eggs benedict. His coffee and my water came very fast to the table. We waited quite a while for our breakfast. The fruit cups that came with the meal were excellent, very fresh. My eggs were way over cooked. The yolks were cooked through like hard boiled eggs and cold. My meal was barely warm. The eggs benedict were "ok", but had no flavor. Our waitress stopped by the table when I was eating the fruit so I did not know about the eggs or I would have said something. The next time she stopped she gave us the bill but was not really interested in how we were enjoying our meal. Our next breakfast out we will skip First Watch and drive a bit further to Bens, they have a wonderful breakfast everytime. read more

I am sooooooo disappointed. I gave this place 5 stars the first time I came, no where near as good this time. Would have given it 2 1/2 stars if it were possible I ordered the Greek omelet. It said it came with spinach, feta cheese, roasted red peppers, onion and black olives. What I got was eggs with a few leaves of raw spinach and a spattering of feta on the inside, with three raw onion rings on top and a few black olives sprinkled on the top as well. ( I told them to hold the peppers, wonder where they would have been). Now I don't know about you, but when I see ingredients for an omelet listed on a menu, I expect them to be IN the omelet. This came with home fires that were cold and awful and an over toasted English muffin. Yuck. I couldn't eat any of it, so pushed it to the side. Our waitress was great, no problems with service. She wanted to bring me more feta but this omelet was way to sorry for a little more feta. I had her take the change off our bill, which she did without question. I ended up eating a little of my husbands cranberry pancake which was just as yummy as last time. They do have awesome pancakes, thus the three stars. read more

Had the blueberry lemon butter pancakes with quinoa. Anytime you put lemon blueberry butter in a sentence, that's a win. The bacon was just so so. Kind of dry and bland. But the 'cakes were solid. Sunday morning wait was about 45 minutes but we beat that by taking seats at the first come first serve community hightop table. Decent prices, creative spins on breakfast standards. read more

Live the food here so much. It makes you full but not hate yourself. Love the health conscious options as well and the seasonal juices are delicious read more

There is nothing special about this place I was in the other day and the food was mediocre at best and overpriced, I don't know who the waitress with the big glasses is but, she's rude slow and annoying. I think this place is terrible dirty grungy sticky salt and pepper shakers floor dirty bathroom yuck. read more

Great Breakfast. If you are looking for a healthy/delicious/fresh breakfast, this is the place. Visited here while in Tampa for work, did not disappoint! read more

I have been to many First Watch restaurants and they all deliver you general breakfast food. I ordered the Bacado. Which was an omelette with bacon, avocado and cheese topped with sour cream and came with a side of salsa. It came with a side of breakfast potatoes which were cold and an English muffin with a dash of butter. The omelette itself was ok, it was a little less then warm which was a little shocking to me considering it only took 15min roughly for our food to come out. I ordered water to drink and they forgot to give us straws and the glass tasted like cleaning products. Overall I was less then thrilled with my dining experience. It was about 11:15 on a Thursday and they weren't that busy so I don't know what was going on with the less then warm food. Our server was nice but not very attentive but she was young. It was ok but don't plan on coming back. read more

Great atmosphere, nicely decorated, awesome tasting food and innovative menu. Love to have Brunch at First Watch. Only give them 4 stars because they have to fix the reception arrangement when you walk in the first thing you see is the line to pay and with little seating space and a lot of ppl waiting it becomes a mess. read more

Honestly I typically love first watch. My family and I drive 30-60 minutes just to eat there because the food is that good. Today my dad and I went for breakfast together at this location and sadly that ended in disappointment. My dad asked for Italian crumbles sausage in his omelette and they served him sliced pork sausage that tasted like it was out of a freezer. That however was no big deal just politely asked our server if she could have them fix it and she was very nice about it. The last straw was when I found someone's hair in my food. I am appalled. Never will I return to this location again. When I told the server about it she disappeared to find a manager after we told her we were leaving. A manager never came out to find us or correct the problem and never even came out to attempt and solve or acknowledge someone's hair in my food. To say the least I had found it after I already begun to eat my food which just upset me even more. I'm highly disappointed I couldn't imagine being the manager of such a popular restaurant or any establishment for that matter and not even apologizing or coming out to someone's table to apologize for a HAIR in their food. The worst part is I had just posted a picture of my plate before I started eating on my social media. Then later finding the hair which I also took a photo of. The before and after will be attached here. The hair was stuck inside the butter on my toast underneath the FIRST piece of toast I had already half way eating which was ironically how I saw the hair in the second one! Thank you firstwatch. read more

I love this place! Always fresh food and attentive service! They always have special seasonal plates. I also enjoy that they offer a lighter and leaner choice for dieting and eating cleaner. Only downside would be there is usually a long wait and it's a little more than village inn. Advise come early to avoid the rush and sign up for their coupon club! read more

This is one my favorite spots for breakfast, brunch or lunch. The food is consistently fresh and great tasting. The service is also superior. I strongly recommend this place. read more

Always yummy and healthy options. Love their juices. Fresh every time. Great atmosphere.

Ok first watched fixed my opinion. This first watch has finally caught up with the more established ones. I recommend going early because there is no wait. We had the best food and service, love their healthy emphasis on all options. Yum! read more

Came in for the first time ever last week & fell in love ! Wait wasn't too long & everyone I talked to was extremely nice. My server was Kayla L. and she was delightful! Recommend the best drinks & always keep them filled. She explained the specials & her specific favorites in the menu. I ended up getting the avocado toast, which was amazing!!!! I'll definitely be coming back & asking for Kayla read more

I have enjoyed breakfast at First Watch two times finding healthy tasty menu choices, good service and great coffee. It is unusual for breakfast restaurants to have very good low calorie options and that is why I am giving First Watch 5 stars. read more

Pretty solid breakfast with healthy options and a few seasonal juices. Avocado toast is yummy but the portion is more than I can handle.

My husband and I absolutely love this place! Their Belgium waffle is the best I have ever had !

Never been to first watch before.... never going again. I had the floridian French toast and the fruit was no where near ripe, like hard bananas and kiwi. Once we got the check (which was over priced for what we got) we were forgotten about and not told that we needed to pay up front. The atmosphere was very open and bright and we were seated close enough to people on either side of us I didn't feel like I could talk because I could hear their conversation clearly. Just a completely uncomfortable visit. read more

Another great lunch at First Watch Brandon. Kids enjoyed their ham and cheese sandwich and my honey pecan chicken salad was great. We were seated and served quickly. Friendly helpful staff! read more

Came to use my free meal certificate after my first experience went so badly a few months ago. Service started worse then my first visit to the Tampa location. We sat with menus for 15 minutes, watching others who arrived after u being greeted and waited on. I finally caught the eye of a server who was nice enough to come over and asked if anyone had been over yet. When I stated no and that we had been there 15 minutes already she kindly took our orders. We got our coffee immediately, but waited for water until our meals came over. Wait staff seemed frazzled and we had 3 different servers, one took our order, one brought coffee and the third I think was assigned to our table brought our food and then the water and eventually the check. Food was fantastic, I had the morning veg omelette, my hubby had the works omelette, both were great. I wish I could say we will be back, not sure I want to deal with the service problems every time I visit. Sad, because we really enjoyed the food and would like to try more of the great looking menu. read more

Greatest pancakes ever but they need more staff and be more accurate with their time online.

Great food location for breakfast and the server was fabulous!!! It's hard sometimes to get seated as a party of 1 when the restaurant is supper busy...but from the host desk to paying the check, the staff was friendly and fast!! read more

I have been wanting to eat for quite a while and finally got to go here today. I made sure i ordered pancakes since i heard they were the best. I ordered blueberry pancake, turkey sausage and scrambled eggs with cheese. I had coffee to go with this. I was surprised the portion was as small as it was- one pancake and two sausage links? The coffee was unlimited and they offer big mugs which is great since i like to drink a lot of coffee. Dont get me wrong, the food was good but it wasnt amazing as i had expected. For my food and coffee the bill was just over $12. I found this to be a bit pricey for the amount of food on the plate. Service was pretty quick and there was no wait on this Wednesday morning around 9:30. The menu does have a good amount of choices including a lot of healthy options. I may eat here again but it wouldnt be my first choice. read more

We've eaten here several times and by and large we've enjoyed the food and the service is good. I usually order the Parma Hash or Market Hash, both very good. My wife is a mixed bag, when ordering, this morning it was the Multigrain Blueberry pancakes, which to her did not taste very Multigrain. When she ask the waitress about the pancake, the waitress did not seem very informed about what was in the pancake. A little disappointing for a healthy option themed restaurant. To add to our disappointment we discovered that the "fresh juice" really isn't fresh, it is prepared that morning and served all day verses made fresh to order. Why is this important, it's not if you just want fresh juice, but if you want the goodness from the fresh juice and vegetables it should be consumed within 20 minutes of being made. So as long as you know what you are getting go for it. Just know it's not as healthy as it could be. Otherwise, this is a good breakfast and lunch place, with healthier options than most places out there. read more

The homemade toast is wonderful I little expensive for what you get. The bacon was very good

The water had a strange taste which likely contributed to the poor tasting coffee. The biscuits with turkey gravy was average at best. The biscuit was good but the gravy tasted like it came out of a can. read more

My family and I loved eating here. They offer a variety of healthy delicious food. I recommend First Watch to anyone.

Not a huge fan of the Brandon location. There was a 45 min wait to be seated and about a 5 minute wait before our waitress came to our table. Two of us had coffee that was poured from pot that was dirty and with only enough coffee to fill our cups half full with about 1/4 cup refill for one of us. We ordered two of the half ham and cheese sandwiches, one with soup and one with a chicken pecan salad and one full size chicken salad melt sandwich without a side. It took over an hour to get our food and instead of the chicken pecan salad, I received the salad with the avocado. The food tasted great but the portions were small for the money. As well, the service was not very good. We were not checked on and had to ask for more coffee while waiting for the food. When we received the check we were charged full price for the chicken salad sandwich even though we did not get a side. The waitress seemed upset that I questioned the amount charged for the chicken salad. She told us the manager said that it was full price whether you get a side or not. When I was paying at the register, I heard our waitress complain about the amount of tip she received from the people who paid before us. I guess my expectations were to high. read more

Hands down my favorite Brunch spot in Brandon. First watch is not only cute but delicious. Millionaires bacon is addicting and to die for! The kale tonic was so good I had to order two! The farm stand fresh breakfast tacos are delicious, along with the Floridian French toast. 5 stars I'd defiantly try this spot out! read more

Good, fresh breakfast food. I had the crepeggs, and while I wasn't crazy about the salsa, everything else was really good. I especially liked the lack of typical breakfast grease that you find on most egg/bacon/sausage dishes served at a restaurant. I didn't care for their coffee at all, but when I mentioned it, our server traded a large orange juice for me at the coffee price (much less). read more

I have been a first watch lover for years and this new location is certainly welcome since it's do close to my house! Good is great and service has been pretty good. This is the ONLY place I will go to for breakfast/brunch from now on! the food is outstanding. Everything I have tried here is bomb. love how they serve water by leaving a carafe for each table (genius!). I really enjoy their fresh juice, I don't remember what they call it but it has apple, kale, ginger, lemon and it keeps me coming back! I do however wish the size was bigger for the price but otherwise amazing! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who is a foodie. quite a wait, but all places in the area are about the same wait time. they also have a community table with I think is lovely, more restaurants should incorperate this idea! they can also text you when your table is ready, very convenient! The Pesto Chicken Quina Bowl is delish!! As well as the Millionaires Bacon. They have a small selection of fresh juices that are great. The service is quick and the food is always great! read more

Good food but very questionable service. The waitresses have subtle snide remarks every time they come back to the table for something and generally seem to not want to be here on Sunday. read more

I see other people's reviews and I just don't get it. I took my daughter here and we just weren't impressed. We came because of the menu, it's the kind of food we look forward to and it's hard to find here. Unfortunately, the service was poor and the food was mediocre. I don't mind paying more for good food but it has to meet the claim then. I think we'll just head over to Bob Evans next time we want breakfast. Yes, they should be in two totally different categories but Bob Evans has them beat on friendly service hands down. And since I know how to make my own multi-grain pancakes and eggs, I kind of like decent service to come with it when I go to a restaurant. read more
