I finally got the chance to try Glory Days Grill as I had heard good things about it. Upon entering, I was greeted fairly quickly and seated. It was a bit of a wait before the server came over to tend to us. We did get our drinks pretty quickly once we got waited on. As time moved on and we received our meals, the attendance to our table drastically decreased. The server walked by our table at least 5 times without asking if we wanted a refill on our drinks. I finally had to ask for a to-go refill as we had finished our meals. I feel like the attendance could have been much better being there were people coming in after us and received refills on their drinks. Other than that the food was good. My mushroom Swiss truffle burger was juicy, I didn't care for the chips on it so I threw those to the side, and the truffle sauce was a bit heavy but I managed to scrape some of that off too lol. My fiance loved his salmon, with mashed potatoes. I think I would come back and give it another shot at something different. read more

Stopped by Glory Days on the way home from the dog park because it's one of the few places in the area that has a dog friendly patio. This is one of the places I love to visit for a good margarita. Who knew Glory Days was an A+ for wings. We were searching for wings after a bad experience and decided to see what Glory Days had. WOW. They delivered. We ordered the fire grilled wings. They also have breaded, non breaded as well. Fire grilled was so good. That char from the grill really took these over the top. One of my favorite ways now to have my wings. We got 2 flavors, Glory and stingin honey garlic. Both were good, I liked the Glory. Some heat and taste together. We split 25 between 2 of us and had plenty. Others with us had mac and cheese burger and the rib and tender combo. Both were enjoyed and got positive reviews. Service was fast and friendly. We had plenty of refills and check ins. Shaved Parmesan lets you experience the flavor better than grated. The strawberry salmon salad is my go to order. So light and refreshing with candied pecans and dressing that complements the salmon, strawberries and pecans. They had a specialty drink, some kind of Chilada, which was really yummy. The pub chips at glory days are phenomenal. Beefs stopped carrying them so I was so happy that Glory Days still has them. Of course they have lots of TVs so you can catch the game. This was my first time here. I stopped by on a Friday afternoon about 3:30 and was greeted by friendly hostesses and seated right away. First off, I noticed everything was very clean and they did a great job at spreading people out during the Covid-19 pandemic. They also handed out individually wrapped antiseptic wipes with the silverware-fantastic idea! Tyler was my server and he was so phenomenal, I have to mention him first. As great as my food was, as comfortable and relaxing as the surroundings were, and as nicely priced as everything was (great value for money), what really made this top notch was Tyler. He's a treasure! He's so warm and friendly and pleasant-plus he gave me great menu suggestions and had the perfect touch. I can't say enough how awesome he is. Thank you, Tyler-you're absolutely right: the Cobb salad is to die for, and with warm chicken (!) and full bacon pieces, it was by far the best Cobb salad I've ever had (those croutons, too!) Yep, 4 stars for those meaty and tasty fire grilled wings. These wings are way larger than I thought they would be. So much so that I was afraid they wouldn't be cooked all the way through. I have to say it could have been cooked a tad bit more but they were wonderful. The smoky grilled taste of the wings were very unique. I guess that's the fire grilled technique. There were even charred grill marks on them. They have a variety of different sauces. The wings were full of sauce. I didn't need to have any sauce on the side. Definitely finger licking good. I got half with honey BBQ sauce and the other half with their Buff-a-Que (Buffalo and Mustard BBQ sauce mixture) sauce. Both were really good. So much so that I can't wait to get another takeout order. I may try different sauces. The fried zucchini was also a winner. They did get soggy on the way home, but that will happen with fried vegetables. Especially if they are covered well. The batter was very tasty but definitely would have been better if it was crispy. It may be one of those appetizers that should be ordered when dining in to get them delivered crispy and fresh to your table. We'll try that next time. Finally tried this place again and this time it was a winner! We ate here a few years ago and it was very blah. When we were trying to pick lunch spot today, hubby mentioned he's had Glory Days chicken wings at a few golf tournaments and loved them. He described them as smoked then fried, I was sold! Our pretzel appetizer was a great starter choice. My Twisted Bourbon Ribs were flat out delicious. Hubby's smoked dry rubbed wings were as good as he promised they'd be! And my son had boring ol tenders and fries. I have to give GD 4 stars because my sons didn't like the tenders, they were oddly sweet. Let's just say I won't go back. I'm not a fan. When hubby and I arrived, we were quickly sitted which I think was the only plus of this place. My server did his best to salvage my experience, but Helas! Our appetizer took a good 40 minutes to be served, and ended up being salty. Going to Glory Days Grill is always an easy decision for me. If I can't decide on where to go or just looking for a laid back, fun environment, hands down, Glory Days. This location in Brandon is not my usual spot. I frequent the New Tampa Glory Days way more often. Saturday night, my fiance and I wanted to go out but the place we picked, had a 2.5 hour wait. Glory Days was our second choice but a solid one. We arrived around 8pm and there was no wait. Luckily, we were only a party of two. The people waiting around to be seated were all one party of like 12. Our server was friendly and around quick for our drink order and appetizers. My fiance got the house sangria and I got the house margarita. We ordered the fried mac and cheese bites for an appetizer. The $5 margs are always on point. They are strong, large portions and cheap. With the salted rim, you can't go wrong with these. The Mac and cheese bites were good, there was about 8 in the basket and they were covered in their signature Glory sauce that is slightly spicy. For dinner, my fiance ordered the grilled chicken caesar salad and I ordered the "1988" sirloin. I opted for fries instead of the baked potato and also had a side caesar salad. The side salad came out first and it was good. Decent amount of dressing, the lettuce comes in small strips that are easy to eat and there was parmesan cheese strips on it. Decently sized for a side salad. Then our main courses arrived. My fiance's salad was large but she said it was just ok. Her standard for a chicken caesar salad is Cheddars and she said that this one was not as good. The chicken was ripped up into very tiny pieces and that made them less flavorful in the salad. My steak was also decent for $15 at a restaurant that doesn't specialize in steak. The flavor was there and it was cooked medium like I asked. The quality of the meat just wasn't top notch. I love Glory Days and always enjoy my meal here. I've had a good amount of items from their menu and I will continue to try new things from them.
