This is the ONLY place I will go to for breakfast/brunch from now on! the food is outstanding. Everything I have tried here is bomb. love how they serve water by leaving a carafe for each table (genius!). I really enjoy their fresh juice, I don't remember what they call it but it has apple, kale, ginger, lemon and it keeps me coming back! I do however wish the size was bigger for the price but otherwise amazing! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone who is a foodie. quite a wait, but all places in the area are about the same wait time. they also have a community table with I think is lovely, more restaurants should incorperate this idea! they can also text you when your table is ready, very convenient! I see other people's reviews and I just don't get it. I took my daughter here and we just weren't impressed. We came because of the menu, it's the kind of food we look forward to and it's hard to find here. Unfortunately, the service was poor and the food was mediocre. I don't mind paying more for good food but it has to meet the claim then. I think we'll just head over to Bob Evans next time we want breakfast. Yes, they should be in two totally different categories but Bob Evans has them beat on friendly service hands down. And since I know how to make my own multi-grain pancakes and eggs, I kind of like decent service to come with it when I go to a restaurant. read more

I just don't know where to start. I can NOT recommend this place. The frittata was so over cooked and tough that I had to cut it with a knife. My husband's omelet was also over cooked. The potatoes were flavorless. They should not offer gluten free "toast" if you are not able to toast it. The million dollar bacon was all sugar and no cayenne. The kitchen is super slow and unable to handle the weekend crowd. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because the waitress was friendly. read more

Very disappointed with this place. It was our first time there and they some how managed to mess up on my order 2x before it finally made it out to me the 3rd time . Manager never came to apologize. Me and my wife ordered eggs Benedict. The eggs were not cooked at all and the potatoes were cold and not cooked as well. After alerting our server, we were given 2 dollars off each meal. Wow, what an insult after paying for a family of four. When paying the bill and asked by the cashier how was everything, I gave her the honest answer, She did say sorry. " We're usually really good. ". 'Usually' doesn't feel good when you had bad food and out $50 dollars with tax and tip. Great place to go to get a healthy breakfast or lunch. Although I have only had the chance to have breakfast here since they are only open until 2. Disappointed. Should have known today wasn't going to be good. We got there at a great time before the crowd at approx 8:10. Walked in one person in front of us. They where being seated when we where walking in. So I was waiting for someone to seat us next. Another party came in after us standing behind me. We where overlooked and the party behind us was about to be seated. After the confusion we where seated and forgotten. Given menus and coffee and it took until 8:21 for someone to come over. We ordered an iced tea among our drinks. Food and tea came out at 8:45. We had 3 different wait staff. Manager was aware of issue since he was roaming restaurant and he got our order taken. We watched the people that come in after us get service and leave before we even got our food. The 2nd waitress apologized mentioned 1st waitress took order and didn't follow through. ONLY reason given 2 stars 2nd waitress even though no refill of tea was offered until we got our check around 9:10. Not surprisingly when we paid not asked how service was. I love the decor and atmosphere, but they will have to improve serve time and quality before I go back. Usually go there for lunch. Service has been very slow the past three times. Soup came out cold one time and late. Another time I received food just in time before having to be back at work. Thought I would give them one more chance, but had to get food to-go as I had less than 10 minutes to check out and drive back to work. To make it worse I get back to my desk to eat and find my Chicken/Avocado salad had neither chicken nor avocado on it. Can't say that I will go back again! Very frustrating! Just had my second visit to First Watch. There are not enough stars to fully show my love for this place! We were there at 9 so we beat the rush and were seated right away. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. From where we were seated we could see into the kitchen and the place runs like a well-oiled machine! My husband ordered the Breakfast Scramble and I had the Bacon and Onion Hash. His was served over the loveliest whole what toast with a fantastic hollandaise sauce, mine actually had crispy bacon! Crispy! That is so rare, in my experience! I hate floppy, undercooked bacon! Everything was so yummy and delish! The orange juice is fresh squeezed and be sure to order a side order of grits... So creamy and good! If you are looking for a fantastic breakfast at a fair price, you can't do any better than First Watch. read more

Unfortunately, the breakfast options didn't come with an option for pancakes on the side (at no additional cost), like some other places do. Lunch looked just as good with gourmet sandwiches & salads or soups for $7.99. Our server Skye was just as wonderful. The staff looks & behaves top rate. Only negative is...they're only open from 7am-2:30pm & I'll have to meet that window to keep from experiencing the ho-hum culinary bummers so plentiful about the Tampa Bay area. Mediocre service. We waited 30 minutes out in the cold which was fine, but once seated we waited another 7 minutes to be acknowledged by a server who passed by us twice. We had to wait another 5 minutes for sugar because there wasn't any at the table when the coffee was brought finally. We had to remind her about the sugar after requesting it. Our server never came back to check on us or get refills on our beverages. She came back to give us the check and take plates out of the way. Sourdough french toast was ok but not life changing. The waffles were fluffy but again failed to set itself apart from the waffle house down the street. Coffee was blah and they need to work on their jam that accompanied the waffle and french toast. I would come back only if there was no wait time but definitely anticlimactic considering how long we had waited to eat here. read more

My fiancé and I come here almost every weekend and we are never disappointed. We try to get something new each time but sometimes it's good to stick with what you know. Service is always good and food is always delivered quickly. There is always a pretty long wait so make sure you get there about 20-30 minutes before you actually plan to eat. Ask for Sky. She is the best server we have had yet but they are all good. The different juices they offer are always delicious. I was a faithful customer at this location, but after my last visit I will not be coming back. I used the Nowait app recommended by the restaurant to reserve my place in line 30 minutes prior to my arrival. I have arrived few minutes before my "recommended time of arrival" and checked in with the host. At the time of arrival there were 5 parties ahead of me. I waited patiently while party after party of people was called to be seated. After waiting 10 minutes and noticing that I'm not moving up on the waitlist I asked the host to verified my place in line. She said there were 3 more parties in front of me. So again I waited while at least 5 other parties were seated during this time. I checked the app again and I still did not move up on the list. I checked in again with the host and again and again .... and watched people getting seated. Unfortunately, after half an hour of pointless waiting my family and I had leave because we had an airplane to catch and had to find quick breakfast somewhere else. Oh and I finally got a txt from the restaurant that my table was ready, but unfortunately I couldn't make it as I was too busy boarding my plane. read more

We come at least once a week and this day they dropped the ball. We ordered 3 meals and a extra soup ( soup was very good) also for food ordered is was what we always order so we know how it looks , taste , and feels. We waited a good amount of time after we ordered for the food to come out , which is rare. The waffle was ice cold ( not being funny ) it was cold. My potatoes were almost not cooked. My wife's sandwich was made completely wrong. It took sometime to get someone to help then when we did it took a long time to fix , I was completely done with my meal before anything came back out. They still did not make my wife's sandwich right but she ate it. The manager did come to the table . She said some of our check will be covered and none of it was but she did give of the card for our next visit she is assuming we are coming back. So now for the good news the server was good and we know from experience this is not the norm. read more
