Great place to go to get a healthy breakfast or lunch. Although I have only had the chance to have breakfast here since they are only open until 2. They have lots of choices for breakfast and usually come with a side of fruit. Their green tea is delicious! Definitely recommend trying it out. read more

Very disappointed with this place. It was our first time there and they some how managed to mess up on my order 2x before it finally made it out to me the 3rd time . Manager never came to apologize. And waitresses were all in the back laughing and goofing off while it took forever to get my food/drinks. Not going back here for sure read more

Awesome healthy food. Had the eggs Benedict with spinach, tomato and avocado topping. Love that you get to choose. And their kale tonic was delish! Will definitely seek out more of these. read more

In the past I've given this restaurant 5's. Something has changed and not for the better. Had issues last 2 times. Last month I arrived at 11 am. Waitress took my order (traditional). I had to ask 2 times for my coffee. 4 couples arrived and got their food before me. I waited 40 minutes, still no food. Waitress apologized but still no food. At 45 minutes I left. Yesterday I tried again at the Brandon location. Ordered the Traditional. Eggs over easy, potatoes, chicken sausage links, artisan toast. Took awhile but I was served . Small scrambled egg (not scrambled in bowl but in pan-lots of whites); 4 burnt sausage links (was not chicken); a small serving of potatoes and artisan toast. I'm diabetic and my blood sugar was low so I started eating. Plus I didn't want to have anything nasty done to my order. Waitress came and said I got the wrong order and took the plate. She brought my order. Had 1 piece of gluten free bread not toasted. Eggs were cooked nice; however salty, 4 burnt sausage links (not chicken links), small serving of burnt potatoes that were very salty and 1 piece of gluten free bread. I asked about the bread and she took it off the plate. I couldn't get her attention so I ate some egg, some salty potatoes and 2 burnt sausages. When she brought the check I told her how disappointed I was. She spoke with manager and came back and told me I didn't need to pay. She added "I could have fixed it if you would have told me". I did stop on my way out and told him how disappointed I was. As I said I am diabetic and when I got to my car I tested my blood sugar level after eating the salty food. My BS was 245 (high). So I took an insulin shot. When I waited for my sugar to go down I saw the waitress standing in front of manager talking to him with her arms waving around. Looked like she was bad mouthing me. I will not go back to that restaurant again. I have gone to the First Watch on Hwy 301 in Riverview and had no problems. I'll take the extra time to go there from now on. read more

I was super disappointed overall. I had to flag someone down to ask for coffee and waters, and it took forever for them to bring them. Then the coffee tasted old and bitter, and my mug was dirty. When I asked for a new mug and a new pot of coffee, they brought me a water glass. It took forever to get someone to take our order. When we finally got our food, a waitress brought our check out at the same time, before we had even eaten. This was by far my worst experience at this place. I will not be returning. read more

I have been to the location in davenport with no problems but this location is the worse. I went there a few days ok. The wait was an hour due to our waiter doing To Go and also being a waiter. He didnt even come to our table to ask us if we need refills. I am a firm believer in tipping because i have been a waiter in my day but I just couldnt do it this go round. Not just because of the horrible waiting but because when I called the manager to my table all he said was I will bring water which he never did either. I feel like if the management is horrible how can I expect anything from the employees under him. Wish I would of got his name to call corporate but I believe these are franchised. When the manager left my table there was a table two down from me that came over to me and told me that the table next to me before I got there had to wait and didnt get proper service either. Made me wonder if it was a race thing but I am just going to not go back to that particular site again and make sure I tell other about their horrible servi ce and that it worth the drive to go to orlando. read more

Ok. Definitely not a noob to First Watch. We have been waiting forever to see one open here in Brandon. I've been back at least 5 times. And yes it's so good and healthy that you forget to Yelp! Seasonal dishes, healthy options. You can't go wrong here so enjoy! read more

I LOVE this place! I've always had a good experience. The servers are friendly and the manager is always on the look out. He seems to really care about the quality of people's visits. It's my favorite place to meet my friends for breakfast. The pitchers of water are the best especially when we had been partying the night before. read more

You can't go wrong here. The food is fresh and delicious. The service is top notch. The pancakes and egg benedict are great choice. Beware this place gets packed on a daily basis but it is worth the wait read more

Always fresh, healthy, and friendly. Although there is a wait on the weekends, it's definitely worth the wait! I love their tea options. They are currently the only restaurant that I have found that has at least 5 different types of hot tea. read more

Each location has the same fresh menu served in the same friendly manner. Just right portions of the best tasting food around. Had the roast beef sandwich and l will order it again. This location matches up and always worth dining at. Become a regular, try their app. read more

During our second visit today we didn't mind waiting over 30 minutes to receive our food but I must say someone needs to learn how to poach eggs soft. I specifically ordered the eggs for my Florentine Eggs Benedict soft poached and runny, they were firm and hardly any eggs. There were barely any eggs and one partial egg was missing the yolk completes. Maybe someone needs to learn to poach eggs? The rest of the meal was ok but not sure if we return again. read more

The wait was supposed to be 20 min but it took 35 min for a table. Then we get to our table and order, our waitress Alexandra was very nice and polite, she took our order and when our food arrived the kitchen sent both off us the scramble eggs raw and runny, also the French toast where hard and dry. Is my first time here and it will be the last, Keke's is a much better option. No Manager ever approach us or other customers that where complaining about there food being wrong or cold. read more

Just had my second visit to First Watch. There are not enough stars to fully show my love for this place! We were there at 9 so we beat the rush and were seated right away. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. From where we were seated we could see into the kitchen and the place runs like a well-oiled machine! My husband ordered the Breakfast Scramble and I had the Bacon and Onion Hash. His was served over the loveliest whole what toast with a fantastic hollandaise sauce, mine actually had crispy bacon! Crispy! That is so rare, in my experience! I hate floppy, undercooked bacon! Everything was so yummy and delish! The orange juice is fresh squeezed and be sure to order a side order of grits... So creamy and good! If you are looking for a fantastic breakfast at a fair price, you can't do any better than First Watch. read more

Fantastic place! Always accommodating! Makes the best pumpkin pecan pancakes and grits! Yum!!!

Wow! Amazing food! Portions were great and prices were very reasonable. We're traveling brought, but I wish we had one at home! Friendly waitstaff and overall awesome experience. Kale juice was tasty! read more

The breakfast food here was pretty great. The portions of the entree were decent. Unfortunately, the breakfast options didn't come with an option for pancakes on the side (at no additional cost), like some other places do. However, I did order a pancake which was huge and very good. So I would say that it was worth the extra charge. I'll likely return. read more

Delicious food, great service, healthy options! Love this place! The atmosphere is very comforting and clean. The staff is very friendly and fast. Definitely worth giving it a try! read more

During my visit to First Watch, the first thing that comes to mind is fresh and healthy breakfast meals that can either be ordered from the menu or improvised the way you like. Thus the reason I visit this location to have a quick, if needed, fresh and healthy breakfast. And don't forget to treat yourself to their delicious and ginormous pancakes as a treat to share with your party! Highly recommended this location!! read more

I just don't know where to start. I can NOT recommend this place. The frittata was so over cooked and tough that I had to cut it with a knife. My husband's omelet was also over cooked. The potatoes were flavorless. They should not offer gluten free "toast" if you are not able to toast it. The million dollar bacon was all sugar and no cayenne. The kitchen is super slow and unable to handle the weekend crowd. The only reason I'm giving it two stars is because the waitress was friendly. read more

Me and my wife ordered eggs Benedict. The eggs were not cooked at all and the potatoes were cold and not cooked as well. After alerting our server, we were given 2 dollars off each meal. Wow, what an insult after paying for a family of four. When paying the bill and asked by the cashier how was everything, I gave her the honest answer, She did say sorry. " We're usually really good. ". 'Usually' doesn't feel good when you had bad food and out $50 dollars with tax and tip. We should have known things were not going to be good when we sat down at the table and the water glass had a large black particle on it. read more

I recently went back to First Watch and the food exceeded my exceptions! The last time I went the restaurant was very chilly; since my last visit the temperature was very pleasant. I appreciate you listening to your customers. First Watch is one of my favorite places to eat and I have never had a bad meal!! read more

Disappointed. Should have known today wasn't going to be good. We got there at a great time before the crowd at approx 8:10. Walked in one person in front of us. They where being seated when we where walking in. So I was waiting for someone to seat us next. Another party came in after us standing behind me. We where overlooked and the party behind us was about to be seated. After the confusion we where seated and forgotten. Given menus and coffee and it took until 8:21 for someone to come over. We ordered an iced tea among our drinks. Food and tea came out at 8:45. We had 3 different wait staff. Manager was aware of issue since he was roaming restaurant and he got our order taken. We watched the people that come in after us get service and leave before we even got our food. The 2nd waitress apologized mentioned 1st waitress took order and didn't follow through. ONLY reason given 2 stars 2nd waitress even though no refill of tea was offered until we got our check around 9:10. Not surprisingly when we paid not asked how service was. Especially it was starting to get busy then. read more

I love the decor and atmosphere, but they will have to improve serve time and quality before I go back. Usually go there for lunch. Service has been very slow the past three times. Soup came out cold one time and late. Another time I received food just in time before having to be back at work. Thought I would give them one more chance, but had to get food to-go as I had less than 10 minutes to check out and drive back to work. To make it worse I get back to my desk to eat and find my Chicken/Avocado salad had neither chicken nor avocado on it. Can't say that I will go back again! Very frustrating! Don't have time to try again. read more

Great place. Food was really good and inexpensive. It was a full house but staff attended to us very quickly. I will definitely go back with my friends and family again and again and again read more

Anniversary brunch great service. Food excellent. But entrance needs cover on the sun side for over flow, People huddling around tree outside for shade. But they all had smiles on there faces inside. read more

Mediocre service. We waited 30 minutes out in the cold which was fine, but once seated we waited another 7 minutes to be acknowledged by a server who passed by us twice. We had to wait another 5 minutes for sugar because there wasn't any at the table when the coffee was brought finally. We had to remind her about the sugar after requesting it. Our server never came back to check on us or get refills on our beverages. She came back to give us the check and take plates out of the way. Sourdough french toast was ok but not life changing. The waffles were fluffy but again failed to set itself apart from the waffle house down the street. Coffee was blah and they need to work on their jam that accompanied the waffle and french toast. I would come back only if there was no wait time but definitely anticlimactic considering how long we had waited to eat here. read more

Very good food but a little on the expensive side compared to other excellent choices nearby. The service is great though and there is a very eclectic menu with cool daily specials. Enjoyed it as an occasional treat. Too expensive to eat there regularly, though. read more

I always thought this place was a little pricey, but they have an interesting menu and the food to back it up. But here's the thing: the coffee is terrible. I don't get it. For a place that touts its fresh, quality food, they serve bitter, uninspired coffee. And that's pretty inexcusable for a breakfast joint. read more

Really good breakfast place. They have a good variety on the menu, so you should have something on there that you will like. The food taste great and the service is always pleasant. Had a great experience there. Food and service were spot on. The manger Jessica Brown was great!! Always smiling, friendly and courteous. Only suggestion I want to make..... Get a BIGGER place!! The first time at this location and will definitely be back!! I'll just make sure to come early. read more

I LOVE this place! Fresh, organic, tasty foods... (well not all of its organic) but man, I just wish they were a bigger location and open a little longer. Seems I am always craving it for late lunch at 2pm. The waffles are so good and I love that they give healthy options as sides instead of only grease and carbs and other fatty foods. My favorite is the Hash Skillet and a warm tea! read more

My fiancé and I come here almost every weekend and we are never disappointed. We try to get something new each time but sometimes it's good to stick with what you know. Service is always good and food is always delivered quickly. There is always a pretty long wait so make sure you get there about 20-30 minutes before you actually plan to eat. Ask for Sky. She is the best server we have had yet but they are all good. The different juices they offer are always delicious. Day Glow is my favorite and I can't wait to try the new watermelon one they have now. The avocado toast is phenomenal! read more

This place is amazing.if you're sick of breakfast at the International House of Putrefaction or dives that look like their decor should be in an outdoor flea market or barn with food that matches, then First Watch is your hook up! EVERYTHING is gourmet except the price. Belgian waffles, fresh made whole grain bread, homemade strawberry syrup & apple butter, eggs cooked to order. Lunch looked just as good with gourmet sandwiches & salads or soups for $7.99. Our server Skye was just as wonderful. The staff looks & behaves top rate. Only negative is...they're only open from 7am-2:30pm & I'll have to meet that window to keep from experiencing the ho-hum culinary bummers so plentiful about the Tampa Bay area. Pristine clean & sanitary. This franchise has it going on! Try it Yelpers. I know what I'm talking about. They even have a juice bar! read more

I was a faithful customer at this location, but after my last visit I will not be coming back. I used the Nowait app recommended by the restaurant to reserve my place in line 30 minutes prior to my arrival. I have arrived few minutes before my "recommended time of arrival" and checked in with the host. At the time of arrival there were 5 parties ahead of me. I waited patiently while party after party of people was called to be seated. After waiting 10 minutes and noticing that I'm not moving up on the waitlist I asked the host to verified my place in line. She said there were 3 more parties in front of me. So again I waited while at least 5 other parties were seated during this time. I checked the app again and I still did not move up on the list. I checked in again with the host and again and again .... and watched people getting seated. Unfortunately, after half an hour of pointless waiting my family and I had leave because we had an airplane to catch and had to find quick breakfast somewhere else. Oh and I finally got a txt from the restaurant that my table was ready, but unfortunately I couldn't make it as I was too busy boarding my plane. read more
