I came with a group of peers for breakfast. The waitress was bubbly and full of good energy for 8AM in the morning! I must say it was a pleasant surprise to have fresh squeezed orange juice. My steak omelet came out nice and hot. I happened to snag a picture of the eggs my coworker had. He was happy to know he could order a la carte with no issues. Stopped by Kekes recently on Christmas Eve for some breakfast with my Mom. First time stopping by. The interior is clean and well kept. The staff greeted us immediately and service was great. Our waitress polite and attentive. The staff helps each other filling coffee and water and it never goes empty. The food was good. I had the Vegetable Omlette and my mother has a basic breakfast. I've never really tried brunch places before so Keke's it was based off of photos. It's located in the same plaza as Crunch Fitness and Chuck E Cheese in the corner. Parking is a bit rough so you might end up parking far. We went in as an 8 top and were told it would be a 30 minute wait. We were sure if we wanted to wait but ended up doing so waiting for the rest of our party. Hostesses were friendly and the tall young lady was great and excellent in taking photos! We were seated and our server was very patient and helpful. I showed her a pic on here of their banana shake but they no longer had it which was sad so I ordered the Florida Waffles instead without the blueberries. I also ordered the Turkey Club with kettle cooked chips and a pickle. It was delish and very big! No avocado to be seen in sight so if that's something you need for your brunch, go elsewhere or bring your own, lol. Overall, portions are bigger here but not necessarily better. Came here after hurricane Milton and they were out of a lot of things, which is not a problem. My problem is all the frozen, artificial, instant things they serve. My goodness. If I want an instant breakfast I can go buy myself all the frozen items and warm them up at home. Packaged cheap bread, frozen sausages heated up, packaged jelly, everything was either frozen or prepackaged at some point. It's astonishing to me how many people love this place, because I don't like paying $$ for packaged, instant food. I can make myself a much better breakfast at home. Really. Not worth it. It is time to change restaurants back to fresh made bread, fresh made jelly, good healthy milk and milk alternatives, healthy cage free eggs. I have yet to find a good reasonable breakfast place in the Tampa area that is not full of grease and instant food. And you wonder why people are sick eating this. We've stayed in NY over Christmas and my goodness the food was fresh, healthy and out of this world. They make fresh jelly, fresh thick bread, healthy butter and high quality meets and cheeses, high quality fresh eggs and really good coffee. Here it's greasy land fresh out of the freezer. This was the fourth time at this Keke's. My food was cold. My wife and mom had a similar complaint. The service was like this two months ago also. When the service is on point the food was good. I'm not certain I can keep it on my "go to" breakfast places. Although the one in Riverview and the Port St. Lucie area was rather good. They also have a nice variety of dishes. Had breakfast there today and ordered a make your own omelette. I had bacon, ham, sausage and cheddar cheese. Home fries and an English muffin completed the meal. The omelette was done perfectly and the potatoes were seasoned well. The English muffin was toasted well and everything tasted great. My wife ordered a scramble bowl, but when she got it the eggs were raw. The manager came over and apologized and had the plate redone. It was perfectly redone. Goodness...normally the Keke's I've gone to have been normal to outstanding. Today was a bit out of the norm. They were packed like usual so we had about a 15 minute wait. We were seated quickly and the server took our drink orders and brought them back quickly. Took a turn for the worse when it took our food order around 30 minutes to come out. There was no syrup, no jam, or any other sides for the dishes that came out. We had to ask different people a couple of times to get things and even walked to an empty table and took the syrup from it. I ordered a chicken wrap, which didn't come out with everyone else's food. When the server came back, she noticed it hadn't come out and went to check. She came back and said the cook had sent it to another table? So they were making another order for me. When it came out, turns out it was missing the honey mustard sauce. I ended up waiting another 5 minutes for that to come out. By then, someone else came by and we asked for to go boxes as everyone had pretty much finished their meal before I could start eating mine. We boxed up the uneaten food, paid, and left. Definitely left a lot to be desired. By the way, the parking lot is not great either. Most of the spaces are "compact car" spaces so there were a lot of people double parked, and the lot was packed. Ordered the chicken Caesar salad for lunch and at approximately $16 it was definitely a side salad size. The chicken was so slimy and just overall so disappointing and so disgusting that I couldn't eat it. With tax I paid over $18 and left completely dissatisfied. I have tried their breakfast before and that was just as bad with eggs being an option, and not standard on any breakfast platter. Never go back! read more

We came here on a Sunday morning ... a little before the morning rush I guess around 9.00 am, and the restaurant had a few open tables and we were able to sit almost immediately. Service here is very good, our waitress was attentive and super friendly. She recommended the egg sandwich which was what I ordered and it was perfect. Not big but filling... Since I had asked for something not too large. Didn't want to over eat since I had a long drive back to Miami. Kids however ordered chocolate waffles, French toasts, eggs, etc. Everything was DELICIOUS. Endless cups of coffee which I always like... coffee was freshly brewed and actually good. Clean, airy, no wait on a Monday morning at nine, comfy booth in light and airy dining room-lots of parking, fast service, did I mention clean? And oh yeah... amazing bacon. Not a bad start to this new work week! They do breakfast and lunch-always large portions in my three visits (to three different locations) They did the Greek omelette with egg whites for me-so good!-and I've never had such yummy toast (yes, toast!) I'll skip the home fries next time (they were just a little bland, to my taste) but wow, that was a good amount of food for $12.49 (the four strips of beautiful bacon were extra). We had my family reunion in Tampa and chose this restaurant for our final meal together before everyone went their separate ways. The staff was more than accommodating. Donna (the manager) explained our wait time (we had over 30 people that arrived at different times), and was able to seat us all in the same section. We had two servers, Jackie and Amber, and they were extremely caring and friendly. The kids all wanted to sit together, and they were good about going back and forth between tables to keep the bills separate. On top of the amazing service, the food was delicious. Decided to try a new place for breakfast with my daughter. We got there right before the restaurant filled up Friday, about 9:30 so we only waited 5 minutes I ordered some coffee and they had vanilla creamers, so I was happy enough. We decided to order the Florida Waffle as a little apoetizer. The fruit on top was an easy sell to us. The waffle was really light and crisp with a good flavor. I did wish we had more than 4 blueberries, however the strawberries were juicy and we enjoyed sharing it. I had eggs benedict for my entree and I was glad the eggs were poached just right and the hollindaise was smooth and flavorful. My only grimace was the temperature, I wish it was a bit warmer. The food was delicious. They cooked my fried eggs perfectly. The server was nice. It was busy and we expected to wait because we had a large party. The issue I had is that they could not seat us all together. They sat us at two tables, one behind the other. It was very difficult to communicate. Keke's has become our go to breakfast spot. The food is always delicious and fresh. On our second visit here we met the manager Donna and she has been amazing. We had a large party of people come in from out of town and she was able to move us to our own section. Although they don't do private events it felt like that's the kind of service we received. Ambience: Walking in, there was nothing out of the ordinary about the dining area. A LOT OF SITTING AREA WAS AVAILABLE. There were booths and tables available. Everything was very clean. The big windows allowed for bright natural lighting. Food: Food was DELICIOUS! I ordered the create a combo. The option I ordered consisted of two slices of french toast, turkey sausage and home fries. The French toast were extremely soft and fluffy yet, had a subtle crunch to them. Many breakfast places don't cook their potatoes hard/long enough but, these definitely had a good crunch to them. Everything came out hot and in a timely matter. I would dive the food a 5/5. Service: Our party of four and a baby were greeted and seated as soon as we arrived. Our waiter came around to get our orders and they arrived quickly. There was a baby at the age of about one and a half in our group. It was great to have the staff not only acknowledge the needs of the baby but also engage with as well. Today I had the pecan waffle. I made it a combo with eggs, home fries and sausage. Delicious! They have a large breakfast, brunch and lunch menu. Many choices of pancakes, waffles, French toast, omelettes, egg dishes & breakfast sandwiches. I have had their blueberry stuffed French toast, chocolate chip pancakes, and banana nut pancakes. As for lunch there are sandwiches, salads, wraps, burgers and paninis. The Italian chicken panini was delicious. Lunch items come with kettle chips and a pickle.They serve hot and cold drinks, juices and bottled water. The coffee is very good. The service was good. The most unprofessional, rude, racist staff I've ever encountered in my life . I ordered takeout . I arrived within 3 minutes of when the text message told me my food would be ready . When it was handed to me it was ice cold . I asked the young lady at the host stand how long it had been sitting there and she said about 30 minutes . I asked for it to be remade and proceeded to sit down to wait. Another server came to the front telling me when my order was placed and that's why it was cold. I showed her the text message that told me when to come pick it up and that it shouldn't have been sitting there for 30 minutes . At that point several employees were standing there arguing with me so I asked to speak to a manager . Keisha or Tisha whatever her name was , instantly gave me attitude and again tried to tell me my food was cold because I placed the order at 1:38 p.m. I explained several times and showed her the text that told me to pick it up between 2:10 and 2:15 p.m. . All I asked was for it to be remade , and instead I got attitude and the manager threw the food back at me told me they weren't going to remake it and to get out of the store . I will be telling everyone about this horrible experience and making sure that that location does as little business as possible . It's absolutely inexcusable to treat someone like that . This is a chain restaurant that recently opened a location in Brandon. They serve breakfast, brunch and lunch. While shopping in Brandon we decided to try this new location for brunch. When we arrived on this particular Tuesday it was quiet and the restaurant was pretty much empty. There was no social distancing for Coronavirus in effect at this restaurant. As you will see from my picture there was no skipping of tables. People were seated in back to back booths! We were seated back to back with the people in the picture. I didn't realize this until I got up and left, otherwise I certainly would've said something! There was a touch free menu on the table. You scan it with your phone and the entire menu appears on your phone. If you are not capable of doing this they will give you a disposable paper menu. Our server was excellent and friendly, unfortunately I don't remember his name. I ordered a combination breakfast which was eggs, bacon, potatoes and a banana pecan waffle. Everything was delicious. This was a disappointing visit because our first one here was so great We came in and we're able to be seated quickly was able to order drinks and then food we kinda already knew what we wanted because I was craving stuffed French toast After placing our order our food took awhile to get to us which we understood because it was starting to get busy when we got there after asking our server what the wait time still was so informed us that they were a little backed up but should be out any minute... after waiting a half an hour we finally got most of our dishes except the French toast they were still finishing it up so I worked on my eggs and sausage. After a little bit my French toast showed up and before I could get into it I noticed the sides looked very dry which is uncommon for French toast because it is dipped in a batter. I started to look more into it and it was completely dry they did not dip the bread at all it was toast with a huge banana in the middle and no cream cheese filling I informed our server and she asked if she could get another one remade but I told her I honestly didn't not want to wait any longer but this was just not at all what stuffed French toast. At the end of our meal the check came and she discounted 1/2 of the French toast that wasn't made correctly I asked her due to the circumstances can I just pay for the sausage and eggs because they French toast was messed up on the kitchens end not mine, she told me 1/2 is all she could do so I said okay paid and left. Went last week to this one. I was introduced to them by one of my exes. That time i went to the one in Riverview. Both are great! Staff is friendly, place is always clean. Sense i go by myself, i always get seated faster. I love their food. It's the closest to eating food from cruises. I get to order my favorite egg dish for breakfast! My only beef here is that every time i ask for the egg Wellington they always tell me their equipment to do the eggs isn't working. So u get a fried egg on top instead of heavenly eggs. Keke's ambience is smart casual and the staff at Brandon location are attentive and quick. Our breakfast came out fast, fresh (hot) and fantastic. Omelette was done well, not over cooked or under (too gooey) with ham and sausage that will satisfy your hungry appetite. Our daughter's French Toast was fluffy pillowy with beautiful and delectable fruits and for a picky eater she LOVED it! We were happy that quality in reference to taste and presentation were a far cry better than our first experience of Keke's Riverview location when it first opened. read more
