This is one of my favorite breakfast restaurants to go with my family. I went to have some breakfast from there. When we walked in, we were reading that the service was phenomenal. The food was amazing. I ordered the chikichangas , which were delicious. The potatoes were so fresh. My kid ordered the humongous chocolate chip pancakes. What a big, awesome order! My other kid ordered French toast, which was also big, and he ordered fruit instead of sausage , so it was a big bowl of fruit. I would recommend it, and my husband also ordered an omelette, and he said that it was delicious, so I would hundred percent recommend going to First Watch. It's one of my favorite places. read more

We normally have awesome experience at First Watch . Not this past Saturday. 1st they run out of bacon and then they came back said they had bbacon. I ordered the Trifecta and upgraded my pancakes. Overall, the food tasted pretty good. The presentation was very sloppy so that's the reason for no picture. They have a winter menu so we ordered a few items from that menu. Came in for breakfast with the family. Had a 15 minute wait after checking in online. Every table was full inside but a lot of tables were leaving when we got there so it was a shorter wait time. When we finally seated our server was quick to greet our table and get us started with drinks. I started with coffee but unfortunately it tasted like a burnt roast. while I looked over the menu and decided to get the Parma bowl. The kids food came out first which was great and then my husbands and then mine. This was my first time trying the Parma and I was surprised how good it was. I loved the sausage and roasted tomatoes and cremini mushrooms it was Lots of good flavors. The pancake my husband got had bananas and granola which had such a nice banana bread flavor to it. We went in on an early Saturday morning and had no problem with having to wait. The atmosphere felt comfortable and the restaurant was clean! It was busy but not too loud. Initially our service was great but then our waitress was hard to be found! Very unfortunate. Our food was tasty and came out timely. Overall it was a good experience but we felt forgotten when it came to taking our order and then after we got our food. There's a large parking lot available. If you send an online order to the wrong location and call them right away, multiple employees act like you're the biggest idiot in the world and were so unhelpful that I couldn't believe it. The manager on duty acted like he had never been inside the restaurant before and was absurdly passive aggressive about refund that I eventually just hung up the phone and will waste hours trying to figure out how to get in the touch with this mysterious customer service center where only refunds are handled. read more

Great customer service, from the host, our server and food runners were awesome. They all seemed extra excited to have us to patronize their restaurant. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by the male host and as soon as we were sat, our server immediately greeted us and she was very nice. We knew what we wanted so it didn't take us long to place our order and it was a very respectable time in getting to us. My mother in-law had the turkey burger and side salad. My wife had the two for you with a veggie sandwich and tomato soup. I ordered ale carte bacon, eggs and a biscuit so I could make me a sandwich. We all enjoyed our food very much, it arrived to the table hot and not room temperature. It was very tasty and it was just enough to fill us all up. For drinks my wife had the morning meditation, OJ for me and lemonade for my mother in-law. This is a great place to eat breakfast or lunch, very cost efficient and great customer service. You can't go wrong with breakfast items or lunch because the options are endless, fresh made, bread baked on site, it's all so good. It's our go-to for brunch. Because it's never DOESNT HIT! Out of the two Frist Watch in Brandon - this one is my favorite. The service makes a huge difference. I like the ambiance and feel of the location. I personally prefer to sit in the patio area. I wish I recalled her name but she definitely made our first time at First Watch enjoyable with her recommendations and attitude. I reserved our spot in line prior to arrival on a busy Sunday, and our wait time was no more than 10 minutes. We ordered the Spiked Cereal Milk, Florentine Eggs Benedict, French Toast, and a 2 for 2. The cereal milk was delicious and the presentation coming in a tiny milk bottle was cute. The Florentine Eggs were good but I do wish the spinach has been sautéed. French Toast was yummy and my boyfriend loved his 2 for 2. Overall, with good food + service and moderate prices, we'll be coming back. read more

Love first watch! Coffee is always so good and food is always solid. Never have had a problem, but this time I found a long piece of plastic cooked into the edge of my waffle. Not really worried, things happen so don't really stress. They take it back and refund me the money and cook me another one to go. Get home, eat about half of it and realize that another (smaller) piece of plastic is now in my waffle. Which if I didn't see it I 100% would have eaten. Won't be going back! I had heard a lot of good things about First Watch and was excited to try it. Overall it was solid, my partner said the hash was the best he'd ever had, and the pancakes were divine. My one gripe was with the eggs Benedict - it just wasn't quite up to par for me. I think it was that there were slices of sandwich style deli ham on it instead of the traditional Canadian bacon or thick piece of ham, and it was lukewarm. 5 stars for variety and flavor. Their fresh juices are really good and everything we ordered was delicious. The boys annihilated the French toast so fast I didn't get to try it, but I assume it was good! The chia pudding bowl was great. If you prefer to eat on the healthy side, this is a great option. Lots of flavor and a generous portion. It also came with toast and almond butter. My only criticism would be the service. Granted I expect to wait on the weekend but our server forgot a few things we asked for. I came with a group who eat here regularly and said they've never had service like that. As it was my first time, it wasn't the best first impression so hopefully she was just having a bad day. Otherwise great breakfast spot! read more

First Watch is one of the best examples of a brunch-style restaurant with an innovative menu that aims to please. Although I have visited several First Watch restaurants in the past, this is one of its best. This morning I chose one of my favorites -- Floridian French Toast. Although French toast sounds nothing more than boring, you would be surprised. The thick custard-dipped brioche bread with wheat germ and powdered sugar and cinnamon was covered with fresh kiwi, banana, and fresh strawberries. A fruit compote was served on the side to add even more flavor. See the photo in my review. Service was excellent. Our server was attentive and gladly took a bowl of yellow grits back to the kitchen that my guest couldn't eat due to a temporary medical restriction. read more

Stopped by on a Saturday and there was a long wait, but there was space at the high top so we got seated right away. We didn't get any water to start off, until we asked, however everyone around us did. We also didn't get a refill on our drink until we asked. I ordered the salad and sandwich option with half a Cobb salad and half a Gruyère Ham Melt Sandwich and a sweet tea. The sandwich was tasty, the salad had lots of bacon and ham in it, made it a bit too salty to me. This is a nice little Breakfast/ Brunch/lunch spot. This seems to be a Florida Chain and I'm not mad at it. This particular one always seems busy so I would recommend using the yelp app to make sure your on line virtually for reservations before you come in. However if you dont it isnt the end of the world they have free coffee while you wait! I'm a coffee addict so this aspect excites me alot. The food portions are big so don't order too much, but everything is delicious and fresh. The service was great considering how packed the place was (i went pre-pandemic) and there was both outdoor seating (i don't know if it is dog friendly) and indoor seating. When friends from NYC come down i will definitely take them here and the food is good reasonably priced and reliable. read more

My husband and I decided to go out to breakfast one Sunday morning. We decided to give First Watch a whirl since we were in the Brandon area anyway. As we pulled up to the establishment, we noticed that the wait was relatively long. People were actually sitting outside. Since we had 1 other errand to run, we decided to stop there and put our name in first. She stated that it would be about 20 minutes, which was just enough time to go and come back. Upon arriving back, we were quickly seated at a table. The friendliest waitress ever approached our table with some much needed coffee. The coffee was hot and freshly made, too. (I am a total coffee snob!). While we didn't have the proper creamer, we tracked her down and she brought it to us. My husband decided to order the freshly squeezed tangerine juice which was absolutely delicious. Now I normally don't willingly taste his meals or drinks, because I'm all about my own, but this juice was so hard to pass up. Not going to lie - I went there a few days later to get myself one on my way to my office. I ordered the eggs benedict and my husband ordered the blueberry pancakes. Both came out relatively quickly and were absolutely delicious. The hollandaise sauce had a lemon flavor to it, which is how I like it. My husband got a side of both white chocolate chip and chocolate chips for his pancakes, which he loved. We definitely recommend this place for breakfast! First Watch-founded in California but headquartered in Florida. Everybody's been to one and everybody likes them. I... am no exception. Their name is a nautical reference to the first work shift aboard a ship-and that's their shift, too. They're only open a little past lunch. And they've got that sunshiny morning feeling. in decor, menu and feeling. It's light, it's bright and the menu is huge! (For some reason I always get the bacon and eggs but man, those lemon ricotta pancakes are calling!!!) They have seasonal menus, too... in keeping with their fresh, farm-to-table style and purpose. You get a whole pot of coffee... and they take their coffee seriously. It's from Huila, Colombia. It's supposed to have "notes of blackberry, toasted nuts and caramel"... with a "subtle honey-like sweetness and absolutely no bitterness." Now, I'm not a coffee person, but I can appreciate all of that... and the whole carafe of water they brought me. And oh, the morning meditation juice!!! So, it's clean, there's tons of easy parking (it's at Causeway and Gornto Lake-next to Taco Bell and Chick-fil-A in the Lowe's plaza). I'll take the First Warch anytime! read more

I stopped in on an afternoon midweek after running some errands to grab some lunch, I'm sure there's a long wait on the weekend but not when I went. I ended up opting for a coffee and avocado toast. The coffee is really good, way better than the typical cafe coffee. They also offer alternative creamers, the oat milk creamer is really good. My waitress was friendly and attentive. The avocado toast was really delicious. The avocado had lemon, olive oil & salt and was flavorful, the toast was good & the basted eggs were cooked well. They are always bombarded n lines stick out the door most days. I got there, saw a couple roamers outside. I was ready to burn time in lowes while i waited but instead? I walked inside n the madam up front sat me down! No waiting just bam a table n like that bam coffee n sense i already knew what i wanted. The gentleman took my order n in less that 10 minutes my meal arrived. I was so blown away how quick that was! I was taken back a bit. The plate is Massive! So was the bacon! I placed them over my french toast. Fruit was tarty n the bread was very thick to. All blended well with the fruit n maple. I did like that they bring the maple in a hot bottle. Makes it come out smoothly to. Coffee was great n bitter. Nice pick me up. As a pocked the toast my mom called me to pick her up lol I swallowed half n was already full. Gentleman tried offering me a to go cup but no go with my broken hand. No biggie i plan on coming back n enjoy a nice longer stay. It was hella awkward eating with my broken hand propped on the table lol I seriously recommend this place, superb quality meal n the staff was fantastic to.
