The food is not good at all. They emphasize the appearance over taste. Grits were like soup. Biscuits and turkey gravy was gritty with a doughy biscuit. Long wait for third coffee cup and coffee refills. Coke Zero never came. Overpriced too. read more

First Watch - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Brandon, Florida

Good food. Simple menu to order from with enough plenty of choices. Good service. I ordered the trifecta breakfast plate, which was good.

Although the space is small, always long lines, the food is great and at times worth the wait. Try the avocado toast my fave!

Usually, this restaurant is wonderful. I don't know what happened something has changed. I ordered Eggs Benedict but asked for a simple change, scrambled eggs on top instead of poached eggs. When I got my plate, it was as if someone has scrambled an egg in a pan instead of using a bowl first. I know how to scramble an egg, that was not it. The hollandaise sauce had way too much lemon in it. Hollandaise sauce is supposed to be creamy, smooth, and WARM. I didn't want someone to sneeze or a booger in my food, so I kept quiet. My husband's breakfast was great. Fried eggs, bacon, toast with jelly, fried potatoes, and coffee were all very tasty. This restaurant is usually great. I don't know what is going on, but my food was sad. read more

The food here is absolutely amazing!! I get the Floridian French toast and breakfast tacos almost every time i go. I tried out their Brandon location for the first time last week and was very pleased with the customer service. I had a sweet and knowledgeable waitress named Kayla who helped me pick something to eat other than my two usuals. I will be coming to this location more often!! read more

The chickenchanga is so yummy!!!! This place is always packed but they have a nice bench under a tree that's great for sketching trees and cars. read more

The entrees are very good but pricey. I like the Floridian French Toast and the Chickichanga was excellent!

It was my first time trying out the chain. Never heard about until my sister in law suggested we try it out. Upon arriving a little after 9am on a Sunday, there was limited seating available but we were able to get seated right away which is nice. I really liked that they're very accommodating when you have kids, they're the first restaurant I've been to that offers a "sling" for an infant car seat vs other restaurants that use the high chair and simply flip it upside down. That alone impressed me. I also liked the variety in the kids breakfast menu. My toddler loved his chocolate chip pancake with bacon. It was a very big portion so he simply ate half the pancake. I ordered the vegd out omelette. I enjoyed it the taste if the roasted vegetables (broccoli, zucchini, mushrooms, onions) smothered with Colby Jack cheese in egg whites. I tasted my husbands pumpkin pancake, grandma'a plain pancake, and my sis in laws French toast (I believe she ordered the Floridian French toast) and everything was delicious. I really liked the variety of healthy menu options they offer and wish there was some kind sampler platter. Definitely enjoyed my meal! read more

Came in for a late breakfast and we were seated within minutes. The staff is very friendly and the service is amazing. Our waitress jess did an absolutely amazing job. The open kitchen and friendly family atmosphere makes it very comfortable for a picky eater and foodie like myself to enjoy the meal. I had an omelet with the Kale Tonic to drink. It's beyond DELICIOUSLY FRESH!!!! I recommend everyone in the area to come here for breakfast if you want fresh food, reasonable prices, and fast friendly service because you won't be disappointed. read more

One of my favorite places to go for breakfast! Everything is fresh and organic and I'm totally not an organic person. Prices are high but you won't care once you bite in and the portions are freaking huge! My favorite meal is the Monte Crisco French Toast, it isn't on the menu but you special order it and it's the best thing ever! read more

Love this place for breakfast. Love their avocado toast and their morning meditation juice is out of this world. My daughter loves their blueberry pancakes. Prices are fine and their food portions are big. Service is great and food is good! read more

If you are over by the mall and want breakfast then this is your real option. Real breakfast and nice service. I haven't had anything besides breakfast there so I can't talk about lunch. read more

Surprised by how busy it was on a late Wednesday morning but the wait was only about 10 mins. The eggsential sandwich was wonderful. Very fresh and the avocado was perfect. Also tried the trifecta which was good. The eggs (scrambled) were fresh, light and fluffy. The pancake is different that typical but good all the same. This is not your typical diner but a higher end healthy alternative. read more

I've been to First Watch all over the country and by and large have had good experiences. Had a rough Saturday morning today. Told 10-15 minute wait, ended up being 25 mins but this is COVID time so it is what it is. Waitress was friendly. Ordered Trifecta, wait was long and upon arrival the pancake was cold and bacon not 'extra crispy' as ordered. The young lady that delivered the food asked if we needed anything, we requested Ketchup but didn't show up until halfway they meal after we asked again. Ordered a blueberry muffin to go - never came nor billed. I informed waitress on the pancake and the fact we didn't have salt/pepper for eggs ...etc. she was kind enough to offer a credit and only bill me for the eggs. I still have her a full tip based in original invoice because she appeared to be working as hard as she could. My take - mismanaged restaurant today. Supply chain not effective between team of waitresses and kitchen. They can and have done better at this spot. I'll probably come back for another try but plenty of really good independent breakfast spots in the area I'll look for first. read more

Their stock is falling... I paid $8 for two "cold brew" coffees. I obviously can't say for sure, but I really don't believe the coffee was cold brewed. It did not have the flavor or body of coffee that has been cold brewed for 24 hours. It was weak, flavorless, and the worst two cups of coffee I've ever bought. Absolute total ripoff. read more

Wonderful breakfast spot that my family and I frequent often! Always great food and service

My waitress smelled like beer. I watched her spill my OJ in my husband coffee cup and on the table and not offer a replacement. She also gave us condiments from a table customers just left without cleaning them. I saw it with my own eyes. My omelette was a chunks of meat placed in the middle of eggs like a ball. It wasn't spread out at all. My husband's food was cold. Our potatoes were undercooked. The manager offered to make us different food but we declined because it just felt unsanitary. read more

Not a bad breakfast spot. I usually come here for their green juice, Kale Tonic. It's delicious! I got the classic breakfast with a side of sliced avocados and it was pretty good. Prices aren't bad. Friendly staff. My son and I were seated fairly fast and the hostess even sparked a conversation with my 8 year old about school. read more

first watch is a nice cozy atmosphere restaurant. With great two menu options great customer service clean dining area highly recommend

I went to the one in Carolwood a Long time ago and didn't have a favorable experience but I figured I would give us a try since I was with two other people we are all very hungry. I was told 30 minute wait which is no problem but it may be sooner. So I decided to follow the instructions on the text message they sent me and download their app to tell me where I was waiting in line. 30 minutes into it I had the app opened and it said I was now number 12 position. What the heck? So I went inside waiting for someone to help me and while I was there were 2 other people that just walked in to put their names down, were told 30 minutes. When I asked how much longer I was told another 45 minutes. When discussing this error on their part I was basically told to deal with it. So pissed off, I walked out. I am disgusted at how this was handled and incredibly agitated. I've given up as this was a second chance I've given this chain, I will never try again at any location. read more

First Watch is one of my go to places for breakfast/brunch. They are always extremely busy on the weekend during these times so the wait can be a pretty lengthy one. Unfortunately they do not have a large entrance area to wait, so we usually end up sitting in the car while we wait for our table. They do offer texting to let you know when your table is ready with is definitely a step above most places. The food was great, I usually get the French toast. Kids enjoyed their fruit crepes. Will be returning again soon. read more

Took mom to First Watch this week, it was the first time for both of us...man was it wonderful, so worth it. My friend and neighbor had been telling me about this restaurant and how much he liked it. He's right, it is really great. Mom had eggs benedict, florentine style, and I had the bacon, tomato and avacodo hash, which is then covered with two eggs any way you want them cooked. Both meals were delicious, and served with a small fresh fruit cup and mine with buttered egg muffins too. When we were seated, they offered coffee and left a fresh pot on our table, as a coffee junkie I loved that, nice touch! Furthermore, the server also left a water pitcher for us to have available with our meal. The menu is easily broken down by sections such as omelets, hash dishes, salads, soup and sandwiches. The service was great also. I guess to wrap it up, go and see for yourself what a nice place this is, and a welcome addition to Brandon dining options. read more

This was our first visit at First Watch. This morning we were dining with a party of 8, 4 of them being children. Note we were sat within 15 minutes and we're not the only large party. Our server greeted our table as soon as we were set bringing coffee and waters. The staff was friendly more than one server was checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. All the food was delicious and healthy; it arrived sooner than expected. read more

I visit Brandon once a year to visit a good friend and we always have to hit this place for brunch. Healthy selections with great flavors. I've tried several dishes and I have never been disappointed. Limited hours so if you plan on checking it out make sure they are open ! I recommend this place. read more

Great food but sadly the way they get u is with the sides instead of getting a full breakfast at one price everything is sold separate. I got the French toast breakfast which anywhere else would come with eggs and bacon...nope u get two pieces of French toast that's it if u want sides there sold separately. Also I went with a a relatively large group of family members and the waiter was really snarky and at times rude. read more

We love going here, their eggs benedict is awesome there have been a couple of times when the potatoes have been disappointing but the overall view is amazing. I definitely recommend the eggs benedict to everyone. I add a little hot sauce to it and it is the best. read more

This is a great place for breakfast with elders, the menu is simple and easy to read. Lighting in the place is easy on the eyes, the atmosphere here won't trigger much excitement but tranquil, laid back and a calming effect in the air, it's like listing to smooth jazz with your mouth. Everything is wonderful! Especially the Millionaires Bacon. Good coffee, good service, nice atmosphere. Oh, the avocado toast!

I just moved back to Florida and one of the first places my friend took me, was here. I fell in love with the menu! Finally a heathy place I can eat at. I had the power breakfast quinoa bowl and it was fantastic! Oh and the millionaire bacon.... to die for! I can't wait to try other options on the menu! It's a must try.... the dish and the place lol read more

We have been to two First Watch locations for breakfast. The customer service has been excellent at both locations. The first visit (Lakeland) was epic....since then I became a plant based eater. The second visit (Riverview) I was shocked to see that 99% of their items have animal derivitives. It would be great to add some vegan dishes so my husband and I can enjoy breakfast together (he eats meat, I don't). Other than that, the other menu items have been great (according to the rest of the crew). Thank you for a great breakfast! Looking forward to some new dish additions & we will be back! read more

This is probable my favorite place for Brunch. The food is good and they have the best Banana Granola pancakes.
