Perhaps I'm comparing my visit here to other First Watch we have recently visited. Atmosphere is awesome and the wait was minimal. I like the couches on the waiting area... nice touch. I was disappointed the crab omelet came with greens with no dressing or such. Very bland. I should have asked but assumed it came with potato's from previous experiences. Food came out quickly but our server never once came to see if we needed more water... which we did. I'll try again but will make sure I get what I want. read more

My husband and I visited Hilton Head to play some tennis. It was so crowded with tourists we honestly couldn't wait to leave and get back to where we were staying on Skidaway Island. We found this cute little place on the way and left so full and happy! My husband had the bacon avocado omelette and I had the avocado toast. The best decision I made was to order a side of the Million Dollar Bacon!! OMG!! It was amazing!! If you are in the area you have to treat yourself to this!! I stopped to get breakfast to go from this place while in the Hilton head area and I am so glad I did. The food was incredibly fresh and reasonably priced. I ordered the kids crepe which had fresh strawberries and blueberries both inside and out with a drizzle of yogurt on top. Also from the kids menu I ordered the half waffle with bacon and fruit. For the adults I ordered the vegetable skillet with the eggs over medium and a traditional breakfast with eggs scrambled, bacon, diced potatoes and toast. Everything tasted incredibly fresh and ordering was super easy! I was in and out in 15 minutes. For me, a breakfast place needs to be convenient, competitively priced, and the food preparation top notch. I'm not looking to start my day with a unique dish but instead have traditional food that is executed well. This place checked all the boxes while offering more on the menu for those looking. I was a little worried when I entered and saw a menu that looked a little hippy, but in the end was happy to find a normal breakfast that beat my "eggspectations" :-) I got eggs, toast, grits and chicken sausage patties. The eggs were fluffy, the grits were gritty, the toast was on some delicious bread with fresh jam, and the chicken sausage patties were unbelievably good. I am a big pork sausage person, but these were excellent! The pot of coffee was fresh and tasty, and service was friendly! My wife's pancakes were big and fluffy with good flavor, but I wish they had maple instead of the corn syrup type. Overall it was a great breakfast! We had to wait a bit during an off-season, off-peak time visit - so I can imagine it gets pretty busy during the tourist season, so be prepared. read more

I have now been here three times on the recommendation of friends. I have to say, I am unimpressed. As I STILL sit here waiting for someone to bring me my check. I've been finished for at least 15 minutes! The exact same thing happened the last time I was here. In addition I had to wait for quite some time for anyone to even acknowledge that I was sitting here in the first place. The food is okay but nothing to get excited about. I came in with my leg in a brace. The hostess asked if I would sit at the bar/counter. I said no because I had to get up on a bar stool and with my injury it would be uncomfortable. Literally the hostess was very put out because she sent me on a four top because there was nothing else available. Sorry to inconvenience you. I could go on but why bother. I am struggling to find words good enough for this place. Our family of 3 arrived around 11 and were seated immediately. Our server, Jacqueline, promptly headed our way. From the first moment, her smile showed through her mask while she took our order. The menu has so many options! Jacqueline also happily made a few substitutions for us picky eaters. She was completely attentive while we waited for our food to arrive. Our drinks were quick and our water stayed full. Once again, smiling all the way, Jacqueline appeared with an enormous amount of food. The portions are extremely generous! We tried the special burrito, the chikichanga, banana pancake and million dollar bacon. Wow! Did I mention before that we are all picky? I don't believe we spoke until the food was gone. Absolutely delectable! Loads of fresh veggies and plenty of sweet treats. We were so impressed. Everything was perfect! I have never left without a takeout container for our leftovers but I can't say that anymore. Every. Last. Bite. Yum! I cannot wait to eat here again. Very nice local gem we found on our way back home to North Carolina -- delicious local farm fresh food with excellent customer service. Our table ordered the Million $ Bacon, Elevated Egg Sandwich with potatoes, Hacienda Hasha and Power Wrap. Along with two juices to go - Morning Meditation and Kale Tonic. Walked in yesterday with my wife and was told it was not officially opened, they were having a fund raiser for Bluffton Self Help with friends and families, but....since you're here, you must be friends! And your meal is comped, all we ask is a donation to this charity! Wow, this place is the real deal! I had the grilled chicken salad, wife had the Floridian French Toast, and they were both delicious! We will go back here many times. Open 7-2:30 daily, great wait staff, everyone was complementing about the food, great environment! Prices are very reasonable. This is a "farm to table" place with locations around the country, nearest one is Jacksonville. Wife had been to the one in Carmel, IN, and couldn't wait till this one opened. We left a donation and a tip for our waitress, Amber, who was a wonderful lady. This is a must place if you like delicious, nutritious food and great staff. Wow! What an amazing cafe. It's super clean, the food is great, you have a lot of really healthy options and the service is top notch! UNLESS you go on a Sunday morning! Our first visit was a Fri morning and all was perfect so we decided to go back Sun morning and well...never again! From the hour wait, to all the confusion over who got there first to the under cooked food it was an epic failure! They have only been open a month and they have a lot of kinks to work out. It's almost like they weren't prepared to be busy. We did let a manager know and he responded well but really one of our meals should have been taken off the bill. So it was a busy day waiting for a table would be well over 30 minutes so I waited for a spot at the bar. The two spots that someone had left wasn't cleared until about 5 minutes of the dishes sitting in front of me. There was another lady sitting next to me and she mentioned she had been there a while but the waiter hadnt gotten her order yet. So after the dishes were cleared the waiter finally came over to get our drink order. My coffee came out but didn't have utensils. There was a tray of single utensils sitting on the bar so I asked a waiter passing by if they were clean and I grabbed a spoon. The area we were sitting in wasn't cleaned until we asked for it to be cleaned. We had to ask for a roll of utensils. Just seemed that the waiters either were overwhelmed or was just being lazy and not paying attention to what needed to be done. The food was great as always so still gained 4 stars for that.
