Really happening place, great food with a menu that has many choices and variety to choose from. Delicious and unusual Bloody Mary's that have their signature skewered bacon in them. Bacon lovers dream. I suggest getting on the wait list on your way over, it gets crowded sometimes, we've never had to wait more than 10 minutes. read more

Don't go here if you're in a hurry. We sat at the bar the first time and waited an hour and a half for scrambled eggs bacon and potatoes. Then, we came back and sat at a booth. The guy took 10 minutes to greet us then took our coffee order. We didn't see him again with our coffee for 20 minutes. Then he dropped off the coffee and even though we were ready to order, he went and greeted a table of 7 behind us, took their drink orders, brought their drinks, took their giant order then came back to us. When I told him I was in a hurry and asked if he could put our 2 person order in before that giant party, he gave a snarky "I can only do that I can do". We won't be back. read more

One of Our neighborhood spots and disappointed the last 3 visits we waited twice as long as expected ETA. They look to have plenty of servers and play about the tables even with the Covid spacing. We end up leaving every time before getting seated. As we were walking out the door the host says I have a table ready for you if you want. If they had a table they would have given it to us before us walking out... LOL. Yes we gave them 3 chances. Went down the street to The Corner Bakery and ordered and received food right away :-). No matter how busy they are we get right in. Probably won't be back to First Watch. It's a shame because my daughter liked that place. read more

I love First Watch. It's one of my favorite brunch spots. This one though... Woo boy. I went in for a quick bite while my wife was getting a manicure. I ordered two over easy eggs, bacon, and a slice of toast. 50min later, I left a five on the table and walked out. I saw the waitress one time since entering my order (to let me know the kitchen was running behind), and two tables seated after me got their food and left before I decided to head out. I'm former service industry and no stranger to kitchen delays, but I would have at least checked in on a fltable, brought the toast...something other than leaving the table in the dark. 100% unacceptable. I'll give this location another shot since it's within walking distance, but I'm wary about going back. read more

I don't typically write reviews but my experience here was so bad it was almost comical. This was not crowded on a weekday morning and the wait staff just seemed out to lunch. After passing by me and another customer waiting behind me several times to go chat with the cook I was finally seated at a table with syrup spilled all over it. I then waited and waited as I watched the server I believe who had my table, walk by several times with no acknowledgment. The other server who could have easily offered mine and the other customer's table coffee or some greeting - just wandered upfront to chat it up with a friend at the host station. I sat for another 10 minutes and just walked out. I don't know, maybe having waited tables myself, I always try to give servers the benefit of the doubt but this was just really bad service. read more

My first time at the restaurant and I wanted to try a mimosa and I provided a state issued dps ID. I was questioned by the waitress then a few minutes later a man who claimed he was the owner came to my table with greasy gloves and demanded to see the ID. Stated he never seen anything like this and that he needed the ID to take in the back and do his research. Waited about 5-7 minutes later before he came back. Felt very disrespected. Insulted my intelligence. Made me feel like I was was a criminal when I handed him a state issues DPS ID. I left after that because my boyfriend was very upset after seeing how upset I was and how that made me feel. The owners stated that he didn't do anything wrong and only apologized on how we felt and not the actions that he took. Very disappointed. Will never step foot in this bullshit ass establishment . Will also continue to post my experience. Felt targeted. I am a Hispanic female and my boyfriend is a African American. At this point felt they were racist. No names were given. Be careful if you split a check at the register. The screen is difficult to see- we even commented it was hard to read. We realized once receiving the receipt we all tipped on the total. When we mentioned it that was just too bad for us. I hope the 60% tip went to the server and not the person who checked us out. What goes around, comes around. read more

This is the most poorly run location I have ever been to. The orders are never ready at the designated time...EVER! Normally when I go in I have to wait a few minutes for someone to even walk up to the front, and it's very open concept so I meet eyes with several people that work there before anyone comes up. Today took the cake. 15 minutes AFTER my order was supposed to be ready, I was informed (after I asked) it would be another 15 minutes. Did anyone there have the common decency to inform the customer they were running 30 minutes behind the email confirmation time...NOPE! I don't know what they're doing there but they need to get their act together. read more

Wanted to try First Watch for the first time and definitely will not be going again. Our wait time was estimated at about 40 minutes but we only waited around ten, which is great and the only good thing about the experience. We were seated and our server did not come to our table until about 10+ minutes after. We ordered two alcoholic beverages and our food at the same time. While ordering our server was overly casual in an uncomfortable way. We waited for about 20-30 minutes for our food and we still had not received our drinks. We even had to ask a busser for our drinks and he brought them to us. When our server observed him doing this, her response was "oh haha I knew I was forgetting something." We both got eggs Benedict with smoked salmon and our English muffins were sub rolls cut in half and barely toasted with no butter. You could not even taste the salmon which is the whole point. Our server did not check on us or ask if we needed anything from the moment we were sat until the moment we left. Never made sure our food was okay. The only time she came back was to hand us our check and she said "here's this before I forget" and asked us if we wanted to take our alcoholic beverages out in a styrofoam cup while adding "I don't know if that's legal but..." We will absolutely not be back. This location needs to get it together. read more

If i could give this place a zero i would. First off we didn't even stay to be seated. We had gotten in-line through the website so we didn't have to wait. We arrived to our scheduled seating time accordingly and waited we received a message stating that we should wait near as it was our turn to be seated was next. So we waited for them to call our names and after seeing 3 parties get seated before us we were confused and so my brother went to ask what had happened, well the girl that was one of the hostess said they had called us awhile back but we didn't show. Which is false as we had been inside waiting and not once did they call our name. So she then precedes to tell my brother that we will be seated shortly. Now mind you we had waited already close to 20 minutes. Then on top of that we were still waiting while other parties were being sat! So i took the liberty to see how this young lady was handling everyone else. From what i noticed other people were also dealing with what we dealt with and on top of that every time she turned away from someone to look at the tablet she was rolling her eyes and making faces! Super disrespectful and disgusting. While i know you're working customer service there is a time and day for that. Not while you're at work during a rush. Whatever the situation is i highly suggest working on your attitude. Needless to say after waiting almost an hour without being seated we decided to leave since we never got checked on once or an update at all on our seating. I will never come here ever again. For my first experience without actually getting to experience the place i give this a 0/10. First watch management i highly suggest working on your staff's customer service. read more

First Watch is the best place for a great atmosphere, excellent service and feet kicking body shaking happy humming food. We had the honor of having Stacy as our hostess and she was amazing from start to finish. It's like down home cooking with modern twist. Alex the cook really made my belly smile. Ate here Memorial Day morning and everything was awful. The grits were flavorless and the texture was off--more like mashed potatoes. The seasonal fruit cup had one under ripe piece of honeydew, red grapes and one good piece of pineapple, the other just brown. Coffee very weak. Never again. Joined their wait list about 15mins prior to arriving. Checked-in with hostess and was told 30min wait. After about 45mins, I approached the hostess again who then told me that it was a 45min - 1hr wait and that there were still 4 people ahead of us. Generally, this wouldn't bother me, but in this case they had 4-5 tables that were vacant for 15-20mins and hadn't been bused. They also sat a table of two in booth that seats 6, when we had 5 in our group. When I confronted their MOD about this, he attempted to explain their kitchen is backed up and that that's why they are not seating people. Meanwhile he a lobby of 10-15 people waiting. I don't understand the logic in this and will never go back to establishment that is run this poorly. Very sad reflection on a great brand. read more

I come here every other week. I love their food but it always seems like they are understaffed. The person that on the front is checking people in, cashing people out, cleaning tables, etc. People leave and the tables sit there waiting to be cleaned for 10 minutes.
