I have been going here since 2007 for my Prius - they are the only ones that are allowed to touch my vehicle. I have had my family use them also. If they are unable to do the work because it is a Toyota issue they will tell you. (I had a headlight issue that they were not able to handle, and I had a battery issue that had to go back to Toyota) They are very friendly. Over the years the management team and technicians (too complex these days to call them mechanics) overall have done a great job for my family's cars. I am never sold something I don't need. The items I asked to be fixed are addressed during the first visit. No return visits for the same issue. They honor competitor's coupons. THINK TWICE!! And yes I had an appointment !!What was suppose to be a quick oil change & tire rotation turned into A 3.5 hour ordeal. 1...45 min. Before they pulled my truck in 2...they couldn't get the lug nuts off my wheels because they were "messed" up ( i watched the "tech" use the wrong socket to start with) 3... I ask for them to replace the drain plug. The old one was leaking. When I got home I saw an oil leak! I took my truck back to them immediately. Drain plug had not been replaced and was loose. If I could give them NO STARS I would. I've been going to this location for years but lately the alignment bay has no regard for your vehicle what so ever. They get it in and out fast but at what cost. Recently I took my jeep in to get the steering wheel corrected. They fixed the steering wheel but just twisted up the boots on both sides of the rack and pinion witch now both need to be replaced. I would not recommend them at all. Sloppy work. read more

Brought car in for an oil change. There was no other issue with the vehicle. Got the car back and the 'service engine soon' light was on which it never had been before. Brought it back and they did a diagnostic on it. Came back that there was an issue with air flow and that the air filter housing was cracked! Well who checked the air filter last during their routine inspection marking off that the air filter was 'ok'? Charged me full price for a new air filter housing. Have two cars I have brought here for 4+ years. Never bringing either one back again when a simple oil change cant be done without breaking something. read more

They charged me close to 300 to change an ac compressor bolt because it was flexing but when I took the pieces out and examined it it was clear no bolt was replaced. I filed a form to the better business bureau . They he said my alternator bearings were bad and needed a new alternator and that's something they should have noticed when they were "replacing my bolt" so not the total would have come out to 700 dollars with everything. I replaced the alternator myself in 1 hour for 80 bucks. No honesty. read more

Turns out, it's more time and get this, their personnel was on their personal cell phones and walking around talking to each other and laughing. Picture this, New Years Eve, driving down Bell Road and bam, you run over something and your tire goes flat. So you proceed to pull over, beg someone to help you put on the donut so that you an go to the nearest Firestone to get it fixed. You walk in and they are busier then heck on this NYE. However the friendly guy behind the counter says no problem, we will get you all squared away in about an hour or so.. is that ok? Oh and it is only going to cost you $47 as you had warranty on your tire. Hmm HELL YES that is just fine. They were friendly, helpful, and they let me know about a few more issues that I may want to check on at my next oil change, but I was in and out before they closed at 5pm. I took my vehicle there for oil change and redo alignment. First of all they forgot to make my appt so when I showed up they had no record of conversation. So I had to return the next day for my service. They performed alignment for free out of warranty for miscommunication which was awesome. I left and noticed my truck is clunking and my steering wheel is way off. I called and made it in as soon as I could. They found my lower control arm bolts left loose. The service is fast and friendly. They always tell you exactly what is wrong or needs to be repaired and they also give you advance notice on things that may need to be checked on in the coming months. I feel they are fairly priced and honest about the work that they do. read more

I received an oil change a week ago from here for the first time and just got a chance to check the levels myself (you can never be too careful). Not only was my oil overfilled by two full quarts but my oil was never changed. I drained the excess oil and it came out black. I was charged $60 for an oil change that never even happened. My car wouldn't start..normally we have some great mechanics in the area, but since it's the holiday season, we were in a bind. Everyone seems to be closed for vacation. Firestone is literally up the street; we had the car towed there, and the opening hours were definitely a huge plus. 7 am is perfect if you need to drop off your car before work. The prices, in my opinion, are inflated, as are most of these chain auto places-and they always suggest a million other things that your car should get, but that you don't necessarily need. They were there for me in a pinch and I am grateful! We had only the necessary repairs done, without being pushed for anything further. As another reviewer posted, the promised times are way off. It took quite a few calls and an entire day to finally get my car done. I've had tires and oil changes done here too, and they are always courteous. If you need to wait while your car is worked on, they have a little seating area, with free coffee and a small tv set;more than adequate. read more

So I went into the firestone, and I walked up to a worker behind the desk and asked to speak with a manager, he responds "that's me, what can I help you with", looking like he doesn't even want to be there, I explain to him that I came in 2 days ago for oil/rotation/alignment and when getting into my car yesterday, I realized my cars sunglass holder was busted in on the left side, and won't open up, I also stated that when I press it in and out I can't feel my $280 ray bans in there. He said "let me grab something small and I'll meet you out there". We walked out the my car and got inside, he takes a small screwdriver and plies it open, luckily my sunglasses were in there. We step out of the car and he says "next time before you accuse one of my mechanics of stealing, you might actually want to check yourself". I'm not going to feel bad, or apologize when i couldn't hear my $280 ray bans shaking around inside the holder. I then said, "well what I know is that when I brought it into you guys that sunglass holder was not busted in like that, and when I got in my vehicle the next day after it being garage parked and not driven, that it was damaged". He then tried telling me maybe it was the heat from the sun... I asked "so you think the sun would have busted it inward on one side?" Then he said maybe it was me, when I used it last... even tho I stated that I'm 100% positive it was not like that before I handed it over to them. I drive a 2013 Dodge Challenger, a car that I take to local car shows. It's pretty modified, and constantly being upgraded. I know every inch of my car. It was not me, or the sun, I can almost guarantee it. He then said "if you really think it was us, and if it makes you feel better, I'll order you a new piece." I said I would appreciate it. So in conclusion, I'm sorry I jumped to a conclusion with the way it appeared to be, but the customer service is at an all time low, to tell a customer (with a voice of attitude) "maybe before accusing one of my mechanics, you should check for yourself." Is beyond rude. It has now been a week and a half and I have not heard back from them either, I was waiting to post this in case they called me and fixed it, but I'm not waiting to post this anymore. So to 7th street firestone, just fixing a problem without resolving the issue properly, just isn't enough (even tho you didn't fix the problem you said you would). All in all it's poor customer service, especially from management is how you lose customers. This is why I won't be returning to 7th street and union hills firestone. read more

Best customer service I have ever experienced at a auto shop ever!!!!!!! I walked in states my problem, was promptly addressed and the issue was resolved in the time promised. Made an appointment to have their diagnostician look at my jeep. They explained to me that there would be a charge for his time which could not be applied to any service work. Ok, I understand that. The technician said that the engine code was showing a misfire in cylinder 6. Said my jeep was too new to either have plugs or coils be responsible and said it was most likely a valve problem. Said I should go to the dealer because that is part of the drive train and should be covered under warranty. Went to the dealer and showed them my paperwork. Bottom line...Firestone did NOT charge me and I had $2200 worth of warranty work done, no charge. That is not the first time Firestone has not charged me for something and shown that kind of integrity and honesty. I highly recommend this facility!! read more

The best customer service I have had with auto repair. I had a concern with my car and worried the alternator was going bad. I asked for a quote and took my car in to be diagnosed. I keep a car at our house in Phoenix, AZ, and every time we need service, this is the place we trust. Their guys aren't on commission, so they aren't interested in selling us stuff we don't need. And there have been times I thought I needed something and they checked and told me I could wait, or I didn't need it. Try THAT at some garages. Sirs I went to the Firestone Complete Auto Care shop at 731 E. Union Hills Dr. Phoenix, AZ 85024, on Thursday 03/15/18, to get a fluid brakes bleed on my 2001 Nissan Pathfinder. The Mgr. said they can't just bleed the brakes, They would have to do a complete brakes system flush, $69.95. I said OK. Replacing all the fluid sounded good. I said as long as you have it up on the rack, a few years ago I signed up for a lifetime front end alignment, might as well do that while you have it up on the rack. He said it would take a few hrs. He was shorthanded, people were out sick, on vacation and one guy was a trainee. I said OK just do the brakes, I walked home, I live a few blocks away. When I came back, That afternoon, my car was parked out front. I went in, paid the bill, $75.51. There was a different guy behind the counter now. OK it's getting close to closing, Thursday night, maybe he left early? Anyway, got my keys and went to get in my car. When I put the key in, and started the engine, I hear this loud CLICK, CLICK. I don't drive with the radio on so I heard it loud and clear. When I placed my foot on the brake pedal, it nearly went to the floor. "What the heck just happened" I thought, how could they expect me to drive home with the brakes in this condition? I could get killed? I went directly back into the shop and explained to the gentleman, what I had just experienced. He went outside with me, I gave him the keys and he started it up. He heard the CLICKs and said the sensor in the gear shift console was bad and he would have to replace it. He couldn't get the replacement part at any of the stores he would have to go to Nissan for the part. He said he had my number and would give me a call. (I thought it was a little strange that he knew so much about that part, when he was sending me out the door without mentioning it.) WHAT about the brakes I said, He said the shop Service Tech said "Bla bla bla some bladder was weak and might have to be replaced bla bla bla? I didn't understand what bladder he was talking about. I'm 74 years old. I think he probably thought I would go home and he would never hear from me again or maybe because it was close to closing time he just wanted to be rid of me, I don't know. I came back the next day approximately noon because I still have not heard from anyone regarding my vehicle. Now the original Mgr. was behind the desk. I proceeded to explain what had happened the day before. He told me, if I wanted, he would give me my money back and I could go get a second opinion. I said OK. He then did something to put the money back in my account, $75.51. Before I walked out the door I asked, what about the broken sensor and the fact that the brakes go to the floor? He said the service tech never touched the sensor and in order to fix it he would have to tear apart the whole console to get to it and besides that the brakes were old, worn out and the "bladder" over time would go bad. Thinking to myself, isn't that why I came here? I was thinking this was Firestone "Complete Auto Care"........................ As far as my refund goes, It is now Sunday Morning 11:30 am and I have yet to see a deposit back in my account. (nearly 48 hours later) This is the worst service experience I have EVER had from any establishment, "COMPLETE AUTO CARE" shop or any other organization for that matter. The last time I visited this shop a tool was left in my engine bay by the service guys, I am not sure how it happened but when I opened my hood to take a look it was precariously sitting inside. When I brought this to the shops attention the technician denied ever opening my hood on previous visits however i know this to be un-true because the last service rep told me he noticed my brake fluid needed to be changed due to it looking quite dirty which he could only know by opening my hood. No one tried to rectify the situation or give me any sort of solution or explanation. The technician I spoke to about the issue simply took the tool and asked if I need any other service, if this was not left by your employees why take the tool? Previous to this experience I had purchased 4 brand new tires for my vehicle with the warranty from this shop however this sort of treatment seems almost unforgettable. This tool could have fallen into my engine and endangered my life and many others. How can I possibly trust these service technicians again if they cannot seem to remember their own tools?! I have a witness to the fact that they forgot to put oil in the car after an oil change and they are still not accepting liability. Joey Huskey, the manager, lied to me and the assistant manager has been told not to talk to me because he knows they didn't put the oil back in. I have taken my car here a few times now and have been pretty unhappy with the service. The first time I took it in for an oil change and everything was good. The second time I took it in to get my tires rotated and I came home to see that my hub cap had fallen off. Luckily it fell off in the parking lot at Firestone so I was able to get it back. The next time I came back to get my AC fixed. I had them run all of the tests to see what was wrong. They said it was "possibly" the compressor, but they weren't sure. They said I for sure needed the freon evacuated. They did that and had me come pick up my car and said the AC was fixed ($300 later). I drove off and the AC did NOT work! I brought it back and they looked at it again and said it was the compressor which would be another $600 to fix. I don't understand why they would send me away saying it was fixed!
