I am a long term customer of Discount Tire. Thought they were the best until, by chance I was introduced to Firebird Tire. A friend bought some Falken tires from them, and I wanted the same. Needed all four for my 2016 Ram 2500 truck. Spoke to Andrew to get a quote. He also informed me that if I use a credit card. There will be a 2.5% surcharge. Discount Tire doesn't do that, so I thought that Im just going to Discount. Nope! Discounts price was nearly $1000.00 higher!! But here's the biggest reason why I wouldn't use Discount agsin, EVEN IF THEY MATCHED THE PRICE.. .Balancing!!! Firebird Tire has a very UNIQUE piece of equipment to balance their tires. I didn't realize the importance of PERFECTLY balanced tires versus a normal balance. I've had 4 sets of tires installed on my truck since ownership. I was SHOCKED at the difference of the ride NOW compared to any time I've owned the vehicle. Night and day difference!!! So, if you're reading this, and go to Firebird tire, don't let the office or shop fool you. Its not bright and shiny like the national chain of tire retailers, but the BALANCING is the difference. At the end of the day, your ride will be enjoyed daily. AND YOU CAN DRIVE BY THE FANCY TIRE SHOPS KNOWING YOU MADE THE RIGHT DECISION.

Tires purchased at Dealer Tire Supply and installed by you invoiced on the same day where did those tires end up?

Disgusted!!!! Warning. I have a newer ram 4500 that I haul my seven horse living quarters with . After purchasing the vehicle, I went to Dealer Tire Supply to retrieve some commercial 19.5 for my rig.. then like always went back north to find a location to install ending up at this place.. ignorantly by me not double checking to make sure that they installed my tires after they said so. I proceeded to continue on with my day... a months or so later one of my tires explodes on my brand new truck hammering the side of my vehicle... back to the tire store in Wickenburg just to be told my tires born on date was 2020??? where did my tires go that I paid for 2 1/2 months prior??? somebody must've come in the middle of the night stole the two tires that I paid brand new for and then reinstalled my wheels???if we don't know where those tires went after I have a receipt for you putting them on why wouldn't you call me back and just be a neighbor??? I have been down there three times!!! Seems to me the big for nothing tire tread that runs the place needs an awakening on who actually pays his bills!!! try having some common decency! I know your employees have given you the message that I've been down there a few times and the pictures they've taken of my truck! $400 from Dealer Tire Supply for 219.5 tires And the outrageous cost to have this incompetent individual Mountain balance the same tires ????? you can ask him

Best in Phx.. they installed wheels and tires and would not go anyplace else.

The best tire service in the Valley. They installed the wheels and tires and would not recommend going anywhere else

Can you figure out what is wrong with this? The dark rim is what we brought in for an exact replacement.

UPDATE: We went back to correct the situation which they did quickly and even credited us for part of the service, which we didn't ask for. Still, there is no substitution for supervision. We went to Firebird for a 6 bolt rim for our 3 axel heavy duty trailer. We had brought in just the fire and rim. They said they had the rim and so we agreed to the service. When completed, they put the new rimmed tire in the back of the my pick up truck locking bed along with the old rim. I didn't check it. I left it there until we were getting ready to leave with a load. It was a 5 bolt pattern rim. Good thing I have the old rim. I'm pissed. My trip is delayed. I have to go back to correct this. They are not close. They were recommended to us by Bell Road Rv. A mistake on a simple issue that cost me money in delays. Not a happy camper.

I have a 2014 BMW 328i that needs a wheel alignment . Can you do that? If so can I get a quote?

Thank you for your inquiry into our products and services. Unfortunately, we are a commercial tire company and the smallest vehicle we can align is a semi truck.

I came in to have a tire replaced about 40 minutes before they closed. While I sat in the waiting…read moreroom, I noticed that this location is extremely busy. The guys were all friendly, and even though they were close to closing time, they continued to help the poor unfortunate souls who kept walking through the door with a variety of tire woes. They got my car handled quickly and didn't try to upsell like crazy. I was really pleased to see such a high level of service and willingness to help their customers!

Discount Tire blunder !!!!…read more Came in morning of 5/29/25 because my low tire air pressure lights came on. I was told needed 2 tires replaced as well as all my tire sensors replaced. I drive a 2013 Prius. They did the work in about 20 minutes and I assumed it would take over an hour. The speed of work was impressive, While driving home I noticed the low tire air pressure was still on so I called them about it. Employee A told me that it was normal and it would go away in 15 to 20 minutes. I did a few errands and after an hour the light was still on so I drove back to Discount Tire so they could have a look. Employee B told me it usually takes 15 to 20 minutes BUT it could take a full day. He told me this after doing a visual inspection. Now after almost a day has passed (19 hours as of this review) my low tire air pressure light is still on. I decided to go on ChatGPT and ask the AI about how long it takes for the light to go away and basically all 2013 Prius sensors must be manually reset, they do not go away after 20 minutes or 1 day. So 2 different employees from Discount Tire gave me erroneous feedback. I now must come in person for the 3rd time to explain this to them. How hard can it be replace sensors for a 2013 Prius and do it right the first time ?!?!?! I give them 2 stars because they are super friendly and the shop is super clean!! I deducted 3 stars because 2 different employees told me wrong info. The guys who did the actual install missed something, employee A missed something and employee B missed something. How can 3 different pairs of eyeballs and 3 different brain stems miss this easy fix??? Wow!!!! The tires here are truly discounted, hence the name but please please please do not discount the technical training for replacing tire sensors. Really, how hard can that be ?!?!? Take a look at my pics to prove that I did come in the time that I stated (about 9am on 5/29) and also my sensor lights are still on at 430am the next day (5/30) I hope to God that wrong sensors were NOT put in my car but I'll find out when I come back to this same Discount Tire when they open in a few hours. I thank God this is Discount Tire and not Discount PaceMakers or Discount Commercial Airplanes or Discount Suspension Bridges. I wouldn't want them screwing up those things!!!

So I bought a used camper and kept getting flats. Turns out the tires were not rated for the weight…read moreof the camper. I ended up in Phoenix, AZ last night with my spare I had put on earlier flat too. Had to spend the night in my camper in the parking lot of Trudoor. Great folks, not upset I was in their lot. Very gracious. What I quickly found out is that it is damn near impossible to buy rv tires in Phoenix on the weekend. Many tire shops closed when people are off work wanting to replace tires. Think I'll open a shop here as the is a very underserved market. You her me Discount Tire or Pep Boys? So I found this company with a quick google search and the owner answered the phone promptly at opening time. She was patient and gracious and answered all of my questions with patience. She found the correct tires and we set an appointment for 1pm. The cost was $1000 for four good trailer tires which is very pricy, but like I said, you can't buy trailer tires on the weekend in Phoenix, and you have to pay high prices for emergency calls and good service. I showed up at 10:30 to a dirt lot address with a camper on it and a bunch of pallets and a few broken down cars as that was the address I was given. In all fairness the lady on the phone told me they were in the process of construction but the ground hasn't even been leveled yet or the trash cleaned off the lot. So we waited for our appointed 1pm time and at about 1:05 no one was there except for the guy living in the camper. Super guy, beautiful dog. I texted the owner as I had no communication and she responded at 1:22 that she would call the tech and get back to me. I didn't have much choice really I was very late already in returning to California. She texted me and told me her tech would arrive in 15 minutes. Stuff happens in a big city and I was glad she found me some tires. 20 minutes came and went and we decided to drive to Walmart and see what we could come up with. Walmart is for emergencies only but this was an emergency. As 2 pm rolled by I was turning the corner to head to Walmart when the tech arrived. He was dressed in a good uniform and had his Son working with which I thought was great. A young man working hard is impressive now a days. So the guys replaced all my tires with proper tires and it was 100* out so I gave them all our cold water and 2 cokes. They finished the job and I gave them. $50 tip to buy their lunch. Happy to be on my way. Headed west on the 10 and not 50 miles later the truckers were waving me down to tell me I had a flat tire Pulled into Salome, Az to the pilot and discovered that when the tires were installed one valve stem which all were new 2 weeks ago was cut and pulled part way out of the wheel. This called the owner and she contacted her tech who told her the valve stems were all old and rusty, according to her. I sent her the photo below in puzzlement because brass doesn't rust. And black rubber dulls with age. You can see the new valve stem in the flat tire below. We talked and she said I was too far away for her to help but that she would refund the $50 tip I gave the tech. We talked some more and she graciously agreed to refund me and additional $50 of the service fee. So I got my tip returned and $50 but now I have to pay someone $150 to come out to replace a valve stem which they cut. It's Sunday night and the guy that quoted me $150 still hasn't arrived and I've got work tomorrow. As I said sometimes stuff happens. I not really upset but the lying tech really got my unders in a bunch. I told her that he reflected poorly on her brand and business. She again apologized for the inconvenience but I'm stuck here in this parking lot with good new $1000 tires but one won't hold air. Beware as this place does not stand behind their product or service. There are other tire stores open on the weekend. Mom and Pop shops. I'd trust them next time but I had given her my word and I stood by it even when her tech was almost an hour late. Too bad they don't stand by their work. I'm very happy with the tires just not the work product.
