The guys were all friendly, and even though they were close to closing time, they continued to help the poor unfortunate souls who kept walking through the door with a variety of tire woes. Discount Tire blunder !!!! Came in morning of 5/29/25 because my low tire air pressure lights came on. I was told needed 2 tires replaced as well as all my tire sensors replaced. I drive a 2013 Prius. They did the work in about 20 minutes and I assumed it would take over an hour. The speed of work was impressive, While driving home I noticed the low tire air pressure was still on so I called them about it. Employee A told me that it was normal and it would go away in 15 to 20 minutes. I did a few errands and after an hour the light was still on so I drove back to Discount Tire so they could have a look. Employee B told me it usually takes 15 to 20 minutes BUT it could take a full day. He told me this after doing a visual inspection. Now after almost a day has passed (19 hours as of this review) my low tire air pressure light is still on. I decided to go on ChatGPT and ask the AI about how long it takes for the light to go away and basically all 2013 Prius sensors must be manually reset, they do not go away after 20 minutes or 1 day. So 2 different employees from Discount Tire gave me erroneous feedback. I now must come in person for the 3rd time to explain this to them. How hard can it be replace sensors for a 2013 Prius and do it right the first time ?!?!?! I give them 2 stars because they are super friendly and the shop is super clean!! I deducted 3 stars because 2 different employees told me wrong info. The guys who did the actual install missed something, employee A missed something and employee B missed something. How can 3 different pairs of eyeballs and 3 different brain stems miss this easy fix??? Wow!!!! The tires here are truly discounted, hence the name but please please please do not discount the technical training for replacing tire sensors. Really, how hard can that be ?!?!? Take a look at my pics to prove that I did come in the time that I stated (about 9am on 5/29) and also my sensor lights are still on at 430am the next day (5/30) I hope to God that wrong sensors were NOT put in my car but I'll find out when I come back to this same Discount Tire when they open in a few hours. I've been using discount for my truck for over 6 years and this is the worst location I've ever came to and had problems. I came to get a nail checked out in my tire, ended up having to buy new tire. 1st problem was I wanted to see the nail in my tire and one of the techs took me out to show me and couldn't find the nail? (Kind of concerning) and told me they'd show me at pick up, they never showed it to me. They only aired up the brand new tire and not the rest of my tires? Don't understand how that is logical but ok. A day later I got on the freeway after the new tire was installed and once I hit 50 mph my truck would shake pretty badly. Took my truck back and told them the lug nuts probably need to be tightened and also all my tires needs to be at the same psi. Comes to find out my lug nuts weren't tightened nor balanced. Very disappointing and concerning as I was at risk driving my vehicle and something could've happened. read more

We ordered specific tires for the car that are a higher performance tire meant for the car. At first they told us that the tires were delivered to the shop and ready for us to bring the car. Upon arrival we were told by the store manager I presume, that the computer was wrong and that the tires were not there. They then proceeded to try and upsell store inventory tires that are in fact a lower quality and much lower price, yet lied and said that these were a supposed "upgrade" to the ones we ordered. Without much choice since the tires we had were flat from screw punctures we had them mount the tires under the assumption that we got a better performance tire for the same cost. Turns out after some research we found the truth and called the store back. They then pulled their heads out of their asses and said oh yes as a matter of fact we had your tires in the back all along.... We went back and had them fix the situation and got our tires that we ordered out on the car. Not only did this whole shit show take half of our day but it infuriates me to know, which is why I want to let people know, if you decide to go to a quick tire change facility i recommend physically brining your own tires to have them mounted on your rims. To add to this ordeal, on both sets of tires being mounted the tire lubricant was not wiped off the tire like it should've been, and the sticky patches from the old weights was also left on our rims looking like shit! Our lug nuts were also not torqued properly which is absolutely mind blowing to me. I understand the kids that work in this and other establishments are new but these problems are directly under the responsibility of poor management not keeping their employees to the highest standards possible. I very highly do not recommend getting your tires or even oil changed at any of these type of establishments. They are not a professional shop with many years of combined experience. If you want to be safe in your vehicle take it to a licensed mechanic that does this professionally. read more

The service was OK, nothing to note. I was disappointed I was not allow to receive my Veterans' Discount of 5% because I had a discount for using their credit card. So really, being a veteran discount means nothing, discounts available to all trumped it. The other concern was the wait (and I had an appointment). It was over 46 minutes before they even moved the car to their garage to start. Appointments really don't help. I had to laugh when they took it back finally at 12:41, they noted on their waiting app its estimated completion time was 12:41. They finished at 12:50. The waiting area was larger than expected, with several chairs available, however the empty refrigerator was a big let down. It's Phoenix, at least water would have been greatly appreciated. It certainly cost more, but honestly what doesn't nowadays. Any excuse to charge more; I'm glad I beat the tariffs. My experience with this Discount Tire was so unbelievably upsetting, that I will no longer be allowing our fleet of work vehicles to use Discount Tire ever again. I brought a vehicle in with a nail in the front driver's side tire. After 2 hours, I was told the vehicle was ready for pick up. The next morning, the same tire was low, and I needed to add air. Again the following morning I had the same issue. I brought the vehicle back to the same Discount Tire, and asked if they would look at the issue as it still was leaking. I was told it would take 45 minutes. An hour later, an employee Omar told me that they just got the tire off, and could not repair the issue. Man I don't know where to start so I own a Lexus and the maintenance light came on and I called the dealership and I was told that it'll be a $150 plus tax charge for a tire rotation, I freaked out and called my parents and my dad loves discount tires and he told me to call them they would probably do it cheaper. Here for a simple rotation and balance. Gave me false expectations. I made an appointment and arrived 15 minutes early as recommended. The swore it would take 45-1 hour tops. Made me wait over 3 hours. Ryan C. the manager of the store itself is the one that gave me the initial estimate for the time it would take. I would expect more from the manager himself. I would not have been upset if they just told me the correct time in the first place. ON TOP of that when I get my car back it's pulling left and they don't offer alignments. Here to advise people that if you're going in for their "free" tire patching , don't. Head over to Firestone and pay the $20. I understand nothing is free without a catch, the goal is to convince you to buy tires. I get it, to make money. What disappointed me is I dropped off my 16 yr old with the car I just bought her a week prior because she ran over a small nail. The nail was right in the center of the tire, perfect patching spot. Which they (Jose) agreed. After I advised I was not buying any new tires that day things changed. (I did say I'd for sure go back to them when I need them) they said it'd be a 40 min wait. I gave my number and headed back to work. They made my daughter wait 2 hours, I never received a text or call. She finally got up to ask for an update because I told her to. They handed her the keys and said "oh it's been done. We can't patch it you need new tires" she left confused. I drove her down the street to Firestone. In which I barely mentioned discount tire they said "let me guess they made you wait two hours for nothing?" 30 min later we are driving away with her tire patched with no issues. $20 well spent. We needed new tires and decided to go with Discount Tires on Happy Valley and 23rd Ave. We scheduled an appt for this AM and chose the tires online the night before. As soon as 8am hit, the doors were open and more than enough reps to get everyone to a register right away. We were assisted by Esteban, who was really polite and helpful. Very nice people but they charge way more than Costco for the exact same tires. They automatically add their "warranty" and charge disposal fees that are higher than Costco. They also charge for installation whereas Cosco doesn't. By the time your done, tires you'd get for $1300 at Costco will cost you $1800 at Discount. We bought $1000 worth of new tires from Discount on Happy Valley & 23rd Ave installed on 10/22/22. THEY broke one of our TPM in our front driver side tire, the other three still work. So first they say drive it around it'll reset itself so we drive it around for about 20-30 miles never said reset, so I called him again and was told to bring it in and he says oh it's the tires those tires don't have it, yet the other 3 tires work!! This is a pretty sad review for me to write as I still for the most part trust this shop entirely for most of our cars. It's usually always a wonderful experience. However, my last experience was awful. Before I proceed, I must preface that my beginning experience with this appointment with Bentley was great and they got me in fast. He told me everything he would do depending on what was wrong with my tire. The problem was once I returned. When I came in, the manager seemed very unfriendly which was strange and he just handed me my keys and receipt with ZERO information on what they did with my car and then just walked away to do something else. To add insult to injury, all of my tires were different air pressures, especially the new one which was at a whopping 39 whereas the others were a mix between 29-31. They didn't even bother to check the other tires which I've NEVER had happen before. I don't know why but the shop seemed so lazy that day, I was extremely disappointed and honestly may go to a different location from now on. I usually am always greeted warmly, even on the busiest days and told exactly what is being done with my car as well as the car being properly taken care of.
