This is a follow up to a recent review on wrote about my experience here. After being quoted $1500+ for a whole new ac system, I decided to take matters into my own hands. Unlike a lot of people, I was well aware that they were trying to scam me. After minimal research, I found that a sensor had gone bad and needed to be replaced, I also replaced all o-rings within system to fix the leak. All of which, cost me under 100$ and about an hour of labor to complete. I now have the coldest A/C I've ever had. Don't spend your money here. The gentleman that gave me that quote represents the majority of this industry unfortunately. There are better more honest shops out there that don't scam their customers . Edward and the guys over here are nothing short of great people and techs. Extremely friendly, very welcoming and provide quality work. I had bought a used set of RS5 wheels, which they diagnosed multiple bent wheels that were obviously causing vibration throughout the whole vehicle. Something another big name tires store didn't even catch. I was able to quickly order in a new set of wheels (from Rohana) and upon returning. They had them swapped and mounted in a few hours. Honestly don't go here for an ac check. I scheduled an appointment for an ac they checked out my car for an hour. I came back and they told me that the ac compressor wasn't working. I asked what exactly was wrong and they kept saying it is failing. They told me that I needed a whole ac compressor kit. They said the total was $1800 I'm like no it's pricy but the worker was kinda persistent. I would never recommend this place ever. Horrible service. Our car was taken in to have the Alternator replaced along with a battery replacement. We were provided the charges and told the car would be done by Monday. I had to call to ask the status of our car well in the afternoon to be told that the technician was working on multiple cars and it would be done Tuesday. I called at 3pm to get status and it's still not touched. Now it looks like the car will be done tomorrow, but I'm not confident. Considering the lengthy stay I inquired about tires, the online pricing doubled in store. You're better off going to Meineke. I will not even speak to the charges because they have to stay competitive, but the labor charges to change a cabin filter..... $26... that's just the labor, the entire charge 85! Joke. I took my car in Sept of 2023 and that had been a mistake. Second time shame on me. I will not return to Firestone. read more

I've taken my car here multiple times and the service has always been great. They're not pushy with sales and discuss future needs with me. However, there seems to always be timing issues. Most recently I took my car in for an 8am appointment and they said they'd mark 11am as the latest time it should be done. Around 11:15 I call to see if they have an updated estimate for completion and she says she has to call me back. 15m later she calls me back to let me know they are JUST pulling my car in to start work and that it won't be ready until at least 12:30. I understand flexibility is needed for car work, but what's the point of having an 8am appointment if they don't even start the work until 3.5 hours later. read more

This place is a joke! I had to bring my car in 3 times in 3 weeks, with the last time having to have it towed in all because the tech that worked on it didn't connect the battery back in tight. They charged me to clean the corrosion from the battery, then the next week to replace the battery, week after that to replace the alternator and then the car wouldn't even start with a jump and had to be towed in. The last time it was there, on the receipt says they cleaned corrosion and tightened connections to battery. When they just charged me to clean corrosion a few weeks ago. The area manager is offering half off an oil change after this huge headache. He couldn't even comp an oil change or at least give me a refund for the corrosion cleaning that obviously wasn't done correctly the first time. If your car needs anything more than an oil change I definitely don't recommend this place. Seems like that is all they are capable of! 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND read more

I purchased tires in 2020 with mileage guarantee of 70,000. I brought in the car yesterday to check air and was told to replace as the tire was manufactured in 2017. Do not and I repeat do not take your car to this Firestone! I have been going here for 35 years for ALl of my tire needs. The new management, a young lady I will not name, Is a crook. Or shall I say the whole staff is. When I had new tires put on my truck, again I only have all my tire work done at this location, I they put on aftermarket tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) So now my tire sensor light is on permanently. I'm supposed to have metal and they replace the TPMS with rubber ones. Well I've attached a picture of what it should look like and what they put on my truck! They claim they didn't do it but if I have all my tire work done at this specific location exclusively then who else would've done it. They're crooks! Now to get all 4 tires TPMS replaced it's gonna cost me $800 at the Toyota dealership. Yes and I will be calling corporate as well. read more

Will never take my vehicle back here. Dropped off my vehicle at 12 for a 1pm appointment for a simple tire rotation and tire balance. Only dropped it off early because of work lunch schedule. Was told it was going to take 30 min. When I was on my way back from work at 4:30 I realized I never got a call back. I called them and they said they weren't getting to it yet. That just didn't make sense to me since it takes 30 min and I dropped it off at 12. I called back and said I need it done in 30 min since I need the car that night. They told me they can't get that done so I went to pick up the car. All the meanwhile the phone caller Eddie was extremely rude. Had an attitude and lack of empathy. Didn't care that I was a customer and every time said we'll your SOL so not my problem. I was a paying customer and I will never go back. If Firestone cares about customer service maybe train your workers that answer the phone to have common phone etiquette. Also I went to Big O and got the service done for $25 cheaper and done within 30 min. Hopefully this goes somewhere and Firestone can fix there problem. Bought new tires from location in CA. Bad installation resulted in loose valve cover and a flat. Took it to this location to check out, cleared me and said everything is fine, woke up to another flat tire and was late for work. Called them and was met with rude and degrading customer service saying it was probably a result of my driving. read more

I used Firestone for some diagnostics and found that they don't follow factory procedures for your vehicles an invoice is not going to prevent them from taking advantage of your situation I would suggest getting your oil changed at the factory and having them do the diagnostics because an invoice is not going to fix your vehicle once they've damaged it it doesn't matter read more

I had work done on my 2010 Cadillac CTS at Firestone on crismon and US 60 in front of Home Depot it started as a front end alignment and turned into a nightmare! They changed out my alternator with a cheap version which died after 9 months so I took it to a more reputable shop and found out it has to be replaced with the correct alternator for my vehicle. I was told at Firestone to bring the car in which doesn't run so it'd have to be towed and now I do not trust them to work on it so I'm going to eat my $300 cost of a cheap alternator and get it done right! I do not recommend this shop to anyone! If it had a negative star rating I would have gave it negative Don't let the one star fool you! Also they had to send it to a dealer to fix what they broke during this simple front end alignment! read more

I do not like to give bad reviews, but when issue after issue after issue happen I want to make sure others don't have to deal with it. I checked price online 3 times for an oil change. Got the price which is about average compared to other companies out there right now. Made an apt. at 1130am for the only time available which was 430pm. Worked my day around this with a ride an all. So I get there 5 minutes early, 2 people waiting in the lobby, 2 workers at the front desk, a couple cars in the garage. Told them about my apt. & was told that they won't get me in today (sounding like they were anxious to leave right at 5 when they close) and they can get me on the schedule mid next week. So trying to understand I accept and he then tells my that my simple oil change "with a coupon applied" is going to be $113.87... that's over double what the website said for that oil change and over double what other shops cost. I chose this place today cause they were one of the only ones open on a Sunday. If the company is willing to work with me to take this down, I will. Otherwise I'll go to another business tomorrow for much cheaper, faster and more professional services. Hope this helps others out there. Brought my truck here on a Thursday for an alignment. Had an appointment. Waited 2 hours and was late to a doctors appointment that afternoon due to the excessive waiting. Only for my alignment to be off steering wheel crooked and one wheel visibly toed in when the other is straight. When I called after work today they said they cant help me until next week because "my guys are already packing up" over an hour before closing. Stand by your work. You guys clearly cut corners to try and "get the job done" and it was very poor work. I'd let a high school mechanics class work on my vehicle before I ever bring it here again, maybe then they'd do what it takes to fix their poor quality work. read more

Super nice guys working the counter - enjoyed the chit chat while we were waiting. Only cost about $15 which I thought was super reasonable. I called ahead to another Firestone to see if they have my tire that I have a warranty on. They didn't but the one on union hills does, they have 3 of them. I call union hills and I'm on hold for awhile and then someone picks up and hangs up the phone. I call back and they do the exact same thing. I understood that it was 1 hour before closing but I just wanted to know if they can do it in the morning. So, I waited till the next morning and gave them a call. They quickly answered and then HUNG UP THE PHONE!!! Terrific customer service! This fire stone should shut down if they can't even operate it right. read more

Don't waste your money here. I took my truck for alignment and to get two new tires installed. Worse place to get those two things done. Truck steering wheel was very off ,two tire we're over inflated. Yet when i received my paper work it had the correct psi,but it did not reflect the tires psi. seems like they just wrote/typed numbers without checking the statues of the tires psi. Also i did not get the paper work for the aligment.They just gave me the basic papers,went back a week later to get it fixed and they gave a big fit even though i showed them proof. They took it back in and apparently they fixed the alignment oh was i wrong. They left it worse, if your the owner or manage this location you better do staff /tec check. I've been a firestone customer for years and they lost me as a customer. If you attend this location or are planning, just double check your cars /truck during pick up. If they missed just a simple step of checking tires psi, what makes you think they are checking and writing the important things!? Btw they lack in customer service. read more

1.Horrible service. Get vehicle towed in for repairs and have to pay another tow truck a couple of days later for the same problem. Brad is no help with this. 2.Online Scheduled appointments. What's the point of making appointments online if you show up on time just to be told they don't have time. This happened multiple times. Brad is no help with this. 3. Customer Service. When you wait in the lobby for your vehicle to get serviced all you hear is the manager and the front desk employees talk about the customers after they leave. I used to go the the Firestone in downtown Phoenix when I worked there. This is the closest location to my home, so I booked an appointment here, since they could access my Highlander's records. She needed some maintenance work, and the total bill came to less than $200! That was a happy surprise. They also made some suggestions on further work that could be done, but were not pushy at all. The whole team was friendly and efficient, and I definitely will bring my SUV back there again. One small complaint - it would be great if they had wifi...I had brought my laptop to do some work while I waited, and my phone battery was too low to use it as a hotspot. read more

Major issues. I never write reviews but this place is a disappointment. I purchased new tires from them a while back and just recently I needed a patch one of the tires. So I called them to make an appointment to have my tire patched. I even ask them when would be a good time for me to stop by in to get my tire fixed. So I stopped in at 11 and was out at one. Asked the guy why did it take so long and he said because "we needed to let the glue dry." I chuckled and I left. It's been a few days and now my tire is flat again so don't bother to make an appointment because they won't see you at the time that you make it. When I arrived they weee prompt and took my car in to be serviced. Technician performed an evaluation of my car and advised air filter was black and needed changing if I wanted to. I had the service done and received a discount for the filter because I had scheduled an oil change. Very happy with the service. I waited for my car and was out in about an hour. read more
