If I owned this franchise I would work on training the staff to be much more attentive. Waited 15 minutes for 2 subs. They were good but the kids making them couldn't have cared less. Went in for lunch, instead of a greeting we got a warning. "It's going to be 15min to 20min wait". They were more discouraging us to order rather than welcoming us. Very disappointed, I've had firehouse subs once before and honestly, nothing to rave about. But, y'all gotta train your employees better. I used to pickup a sub and take to my wife from Firehouse every now and then. We really like it. Unfortunately, I went there a couple weeks ago and this location is closed, as is the location on Park west of Willow Bend Mall. and the one on Midway and Trinity Mills in Addison is closed as well. Not sure what happened, franchisee issue or what, but others are still open and going, just a few closed. At least they didn't all close. Good food. read more

Great place! We have ordered through Grubhub and DoorDash. If something is not avail, they call. So friendly. Food was great! We love the meatball sub, chili and cheesesteak subs! Only thing not impressed is the brownies and sometimes cookies. Sometimes they are fresh and chewy...sometimes hard and crumbly. Not sure if they were old or the plastic wrap is way too thin? However the main entrees are always great!! read more

Firehouse sandwiches are great. This location had bad service and management wouldn't help me out at all when I had a slight problem.

Firehouse has always been a favorite of mine and today was no exception. The food was superb. I had a #3 which was corned beef and pastrami, and damn did this sandwich come out great! The bread could've been slightly better, but all in all the food was really good. If I had to provide any criticism, I'd have to say that the drink station always seems messy, and even worse is that with their soda machine, you always get a taste of what the person before you had, making the only drink that's any good to get being Hi-C (seriously Hi-C syrup overpowers all others). And one more thing, the whole 'Welcome to Firehouse!'. This just seems like a really horrible corporate policy more than anything else. Hopefully they change that soon. It just makes everything feel so mechanical. read more

These subs are by no means healthy (most come fully loaded with cheese & mayo), but they are really delicious. The meat tastes different from other sub shops- very flavorful. All of the ingredients (cheese, meat, bread) are high quality. They have a good selection of chips & sauces to go along w/ your sub too. read more

This sub shop is near my new apartment and my friend and I stopped here for lunch. Their claim to fame is that they steam their meat to improve the flavor. Ordered a Hero, grabbed a bottle of hot sauce from their extensive collection and we sat down to enjoy our sandwiches. I take a bite out of my sandwich and immediately notice a good kick too it. Nice hot sauce. Seven seconds later my mouth bursts into pain. I can't feel my tongue. My eyes begin to water. That tiny cup of water now looks like an ocean of salvation and gulp it down. It doesn't help. I feel like I've got a raging bonfire in my mouth. I lick my lips. Terrible idea, they BURN. I swear I'm melting. I've learned what it's like to be on fire. I've started sweating, my eyes have turned into raging rivers. I feel like I've been suckling on the business end of a flame thrower. More painful then a kidney stone I can hear my last rites being read to me. Then I make a fatal mistake, I reach up to rub my eyes and the world explodes in pain. "OH GOD! My eye! I'm going to go blind! My eye is melting!" I make my way to the bathroom mostly blind and I can barely hear my friend laughing. After several minutes of eye washing it's at least tolerable enough to come out again and he's still in tears. Mad Dog 357, the best hot sauce I've tried. It now has it's own small shrine to the god of heat. Don't go just for the hot sauce though, the subs are pretty good too. read more

Amazing sandwiches!!!! We order one roast beef with cheese full dress with extra mayo and a tuna sandwich. Both were so tasty and the portion size was awesome. The brownie was delicious as well. Order was filled through UberEATS. We'll definitely be ordering from here again. FYI The roast beef sandwich reminded me of a po-boy sandwich from New Orleans, my home town minus the brown gray. Very slow in making the sandwich. Cashier was very pushy and rude. There are parents here that do not control their children and the sandwiches itself was just mediocre. Wanted to try it out, but Subway would be a better choice in taste and commodity. Why does it take 15 minutes for one sandwich when there is no lunch rush? I love Firehouse Sandwiches and this location is within walking distance from my home. However, I would not go to this Firehouse again if it was the last one still open. I honestly would stop eating Firehouse Sandwiches if this location was my only option for future business. I like great service and a clean environment. The last 2 times I have gone to this location, it was extremely hot, the workers were complaining about their work environment, thus they provided poor service unsanitary service to me as a consumer. My last visit sealed the deal for me. Poor management; poor service and I totally would not recommend this location for others. read more

The guy asked me twice what I wanted on my sandwich and told him no mustard or tomatoes. Get Home and I find both on my sandwich. I was literally the only person In the restaurant. My order was to be READY at 12:44pm and I let them know I was there. Excellent customer service. I was so happy with the guy that helped me. He was training a young girl and he was super patient and answered all my questions. It took me a while to choose and I showed up about 15 min before closing on a Monday night for take out. I hadn't been to a Firehouse subs in almost 9 years...just not any in my immediate local area. I went there a couple weeks ago, passed several other sandwich shops along the way, and had the worst Philly cheesesteak (or beef and cheese, whatever they call it). The meat and cheese was room temperature combined with too much mayo made it disgusting. I spit it out threw it away and watched my wife eat her sandwich. read more

Worst experience ever. I requested a cold sub. First mistake as the bun was toasted and the meat went into a steamer. Then the meat is drained and put onto the bread. The sub was soggy and the meat has a rancid taste. Yet they are in business with this horrible food. read more
