First time going to cava, food was good and would definitely visit again. The only thing that was disappointing was the food is literally half of a bowl. Food still taste good but it appears Cava is doing what Chipotle did with their portion sizes. Their bowls used to be packed and now you are lucky to get 3/4. Most of the tables are dirty. There was a roach casually walking underneath our table. The blueberry lavender drink I wanted was out which was the only reason I wanted a drink in the first place. Employees were nice but it looks like Cava has gone down hill in several areas. Initially I gave 2 stars because the food tastes good but the roach put you back down to one star. read more

I dont know why it took me so long to try out Cava, because I love a good power bowl. Let me tell you it did not disappoint. I was not expecting to love it as much as I did. I got the Harrisa chicken bowl a "fan fave" and yes I became a fan. Oh and the fried pita was Soo good, I had to break my diet of low carb (only had half a scoop of brown rice) and ate 2 pieces and I wanted to devour it all. I feel so sorry for the staff of this Cava. I saw Richard, who I believe to be the manager, rip apart of his staff. You shouldn't ridicule your employee because "they gave too much chicken away" to a customer who asked for double chicken. Also explained In front of everyone that he is losing the business money which took up time for the customer when the line was already long. Horrible workers. They are rude and so passive aggressive. They at least stay consistent with never cleaning tables because that seems to be a constant everytime i come. Cava is fantastic! Healthy Mediterranean food, the pita chips are so crispy and tasty and the drinks are so good. I love both the sodas and juices. I normally always have an amazing experience at this location, but my most recent experience was not so pleasant. The young lady that served me was not very pleasant. This was my first time at Cava and I was really looking forward to it as I've heard nothing but good things. I decided on the avocado harissa chicken bowl with pita chips. The bowl was very delicious, Fresh tasting and very flavorful. They use chicken thighs which is my favorite, but there was alot of fat left on the chicken which made alot of bites unpleasant, but I still enjoyed it. The pita chips were just as delicious. The reason for the 2 stars? The service was extremely cold, like uncomfortably cold. I walked in and was not greeted at all and the overall vibe was unfriendly and like the employees would rather be elsewhere. I asked for a bag before leaving and the employee quickly pointed to an area where the bags were and walked off. I throughly enjoyed my food, but was very turned off by the lack of service. I had cava the other day and was a pretty big fan of it. The rice is really good here and sets a good base for the rest of the dish. The harrisa chicken was also cooked very well and was packed with flavor. The meat flavor separates it from other places like chipotle or other places that do the same style of food. The mediterranean style incorporated in the food was also very good as the olives and special sauces were really good in combination. The crisp of the pita were also pretty good.
