Placed order online for delivery for the office. One person's order was not saved and did not make it to order. Called the store to try to add the missed item. Recording said "they were too busy to answer the phone and to call back after 1:00." Decidedly unhelpful. No way to fix a problem their own web site created. HORRIBLE customer service from people who don't care about their clients. Two times I've eaten in the store, customer service was similarly uncaring and downright rude. Any place can make a salad. Every place can do it better than this. read more

Salads were great; expensive, but great. However, the service was bad. I paid over $41 for salads (being made), and sat down to wait. I was puzzled when the SAME LADY whom I paid then got a second payment from my wife. Again, over $41. We requested that they refund one of the credit card payments. They replied, "We can't do that; we have a new system." They ultimately told us that WE had to pursue this with the main company. And, "it will take 7 to 10 business days." So, we have copies of two receipts and we now need to contact the company to talk them into sending us a refund. Right now, we have paid over $82 for two salads! read more

I'm from Long Island, NY & arrived in Plano a few days ago for a family obligation. After doing some banking I saw Snappy Salads and decided to give it a try for lunch. Was not disappointed, I ordered a Chicken Bacon Club Wrap and it was amazing. It was so good I ordered a Caesar Crunch Salad with Herb-Grilled Chicken for dinner. It was the best I've had. Even got a free cookie for their 20th Anniversary. Hope you guys open up on Long Island. We need a healthy alternative to the fast food we have now. read more

The salads themselves are AMAZING. This was a go-to place for me and my husband for a very long time. Both their salads and bowls are delicious, and even their items for kids taste great. I like that the nutritional information is easily accessible on their website, as well. The reason I'm not giving this 5 stars? The customer service. It used to be amazing - everyone was friendly and accommodating. The last few times I've visited, the staff is visibly annoyed at anyone who comes in, does not ask if they want their dressing mixed in/on the side like they used to, and does very minimal talking. Oh, my! The Chimicurri Steak Salad is insane at Snappy. Some of their menu salads are a bit on the "what happened here?" side, but for the most part they're legit. They're definitely salads that you would have a hard time making at home. That's the only reason I will continue to eat out somewhere. Also, Snappy has evolved over the years. My husband has been eating here a lot lately and he suggested I try this place and I'm so glad I did. I decided on Chili lime Shrimp Salad and Lentil soup. I added their famous grilled avocado(must try! Delicious)to go with my salad. It was sort of spicy Asian sesame dressing with Nappa cabbage and red cabbage, carrot, edamame, shrimp and fried wonton crisps. I got a small size and it was very filling and I thought it was very tasty. As for the soup, it was kind of bland and I won't order it again. After all, it's called Snappy Salad and not Snappy Soup! There are so many diff kind of salad with varieties of protein and add ons for extra. They have bottled drinks and also, drink fountain(natural sodas?)and tea. I was so glad I got there when I got there(little after 6pm), because right after I got my food, it got really busy. Mmmmm had a weird experience here today. I usually go to Salata since that's opened, but went here since it's next to the salon I go to. The staff isn't very friendly or helpful- they look miserable. The salad itself- I don't understand why it's not tossed? Mixed at all? And when she asked me if I wanted protein I asked where is the protein because nothing was visible. It's kind of hard to mess up a salad. The dressings are very good, but the staff is pretty stingy with both the ingredients and that dressing. The service is ok, I get the feeling we were more of an inconvenience than a valued customer. The place itself is dirty! Restroom not working. No sign on the door. They're sending people to the vitamin shop to ask for use. You had to buy something at the vitamin shop so rack on more to essentially use the bathroom. We suggested to the manager they put a sign on the window and she snapped back that they "don't do that" When we told the manager at Snappy Salad how unhappy the situation made is, she copped an attitude with us so we asked for our money back and left. Friday mornings immediately start with me sitting at my desk and thinking about what I want for lunch. After polling my co-workers for ideas, we usually settle on something that will destroy our bodies and clog our arteries going into the weekend. I was already feeling a little sluggish this particular day, so I needed something to keep me light on my feet. Snappy salads sounded like a brilliant idea for a healthy and quick option. I was positive that after eating this salad, I would be operating at my highest level of efficiency. I would have the ability to get all my work done as soon as possible, and drop down for 20 pushups every few minutes. This light meal would keep me full, but still give me the ability to wrangle gators in the backyard after a long day in the office. Snappy salads is a very nice environment. Very clean, upbeat atmosphere. Everyone there WANTS to be healthy, and is trying their best. I appreciate that. But how can a brother try his best to eat healthy when a salad is $15? That's not really a sustainable lunch habit. Regardless of my complaints about the price, the buffalo chicken salad was very good. The spice level wasn't over the top, but kept you wanting to dive back in to the challenge after a quick sip of Snappy Water. The gorgonzola cheese was an excellent touch, and very different from the normal blue cheese or ranch you would get with something like this. I respect the concept of the restaurant, and the food was great. Gotta cut down on the prices though, friends. Texas is struggling with an obesity problem, and responsible, sustainable restaurants like yours are the solution. Let me start by saying im not a salad person. Especially when temperatures drop as in todays 45 degree temp! However in the spirit of " healthier" eating I ended up here. Ive eaten at several other locations including the original over the last few years with mediocre results This is the first time at this location and its happening. This is my fourth time coming to Snappy Salads, and third time coming to this location. I cannot say that I'm a fan of this location at all. It seems like every time my food is complete, it does not come to me, I have to go to the counter to get it. After I pay for my food, the cashier tells me to take a seat and someone will bring my food to me. Well for the last three times, I have done just that, and when my food is done, it's just left on the counter. So today, there is only four patrons in the restaurant. My food gets prepared, and the lady doesn't say a word to me, she just let it sit there. Therefore, I go to the counter and asks, "is this my food," and she replies, "yes mam." So, she obviously knew my food was ready, but was too lazy to bring it to me. Which was stated when I paid. I will not be back to this location due to lack of customer service. I feel that I pay too much for the food to receive such poor service. read more

I was introduced to Snappy Salads by a friend and have really fallen in love. I've found myself craving a GIANT salad from Snappy Salads a lot lately. I don't usually frequent this location, but found the service really great, environment clean and as always fresh food with lots of choices. I arrived on a Thursday at lunch time and there were at least four or five employees working to keep the line moving quick, and it did. The price is comparable to a big salad at a restaurant, and with the full size being the quantity of two regular salads you might get at someplace like Chick fil A, the price is about the same. I like to build my own, and always get a full to ensure there are leftovers for later :) Being able to choose 12 sides, yes, I said TWELVE ensures I get a pretty yummy meal. The reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 - They don't offer any sort of "kid option" and they tables are too high to actually use the high chairs they provide. I've been to other Salad places (namely one just up the street from here) and they offer a kid meal (6 toppings for $3) which is fantastic as I usually have my little one with me. I had ordered my meal for "here" and paid extra for a few sides for my little one, grabbed a highchair and planted myself at the end of a table only to find my son's eye level fell about a foot below the table top. So much for enjoying my meal, I spent the entire time feeding him since he couldn't feed himself off the table. My friends and I had planned to have a Mom's lunch here with our little ones, but knowing not being able to pull up highchairs we'll probably go to a different location. read more

For the price I paid, I was expecting a much better salad. What I got was a warm, limp, over-oily, lackluster salad that couldn't even rival a salad from WalMart. Additionally, they left out one of our salads, and when we tried to call, guess what? Straight to voicemail every time. (Maybe they're used to complaints and didn't want to deal with it today?) Ricky is a hard working rock star who cares about people and offers great customer service. You can't beat him or this location; they make correct orders quickly and work their tails off. Prompt and super friendly. Sometimes I let myself get too frustrated by customer unfriendly corporate policies like the fact that you can't call ahead orders at Snappy - you are forced to order via their app or website. Corporate doesn't even have the structure or enough employees in place during busy times to be able to take orders over the phone anymore. However, because of people like Ricky this location is able to shine in spite of things like that. Food tip: Try the chipotle chicken Piadini wrap and sub sweet potato chips for the tortilla chips. It's so good that Piada (the restaurant) needs to take notes on the flakey wrap bread that they use here. read more

Was hoping this would be a delicious healthy lunch, but it was a little sadder than that. The staff was friendly enough, but the food did not impress. I can devour a decent salad, but the warm fried cauliflower salad was not very rich in flavor. Apparently "roasted" just meant stir-fried, which left out that perfect crispy crunch. I will probably come back and try a fresh salad next time, but one tip I'd give them is to mix the salad. That's pretty common practice, so I was surprised to have to ask. I am a huge salad fan and regularly get salads from places like Salata, Potbelly, and even restaurants like Chili's. This was my first time at a Snappy Salads and it's going to be my last, as the experience and the salad itself was not great. To start with the salad, I ordered the buffalo chicken half snap with no striker sauce to go. When I got home and opened the salad I realized that there was striker sauce on it, even though it had been clearly requested to be left off, and I noticed that I couldn't really detect a dressing on the salad. I figure this is because it's a blue cheese vinaigrette, which made me think it was probably not creamy and not a big deal. However after about two minutes eating the salad I saw a giant clump of white sauce on one corner of the bowl, and I now believe that to be the dressing. It was not mixed in and isolated to one corner, with the rest of the lettuce leaves being SOAKED in buffalo sauce. The buffalo sauce on top with the chicken leaked down to create this giant size puddle throughout the entirety of the salad, making it just a sodium-filled soggy mess. I'm not sure if they accidentally put extra sauce on it or what, but it was way too much sauce and I couldn't even eat half of the salad due to that. On a more positive note, there was a generous portion of chicken for a half snap and I liked that the tomatoes are fairly large pieces unlike at most salad restaurants. As before mentioned, I placed my order to go about 30 minutes before I was going to pick it up. I specified the time in the order, but when I arrived at the specified time it was not ready and I was not handed my order until 15 minutes later. I was spoken to by three people while there, but only the man at the cash register had anything to say in the way of an apology for the time my order took. The other two people who acknowledged me just said my order will be ready in a minute or two and time just kept passing and passing as a few more people came in to pick up their orders and had to wait as well. I used to work as an inside team member at a national pizza chain, and I do understand that it's a very stressful work environment to have customers both coming in and having to fill orders for deliveries as well as carry out. However, if I can (at my old job) receive an order for a pizza, make the crust, top the pizza, put it in the oven and let it bake, cut it, box it, take another phone call in between, and then have the pizza ready for the customer in 10 minutes, I expect a salad restaurant to be able to give me my order on time that I placed 30 minutes in advance. Overall, for the price and quality of what I was given, I will not be returning to snappy salads. The portion size for a half snap is about as big as a Potbelly regular size, and I find Chili's buffalo chicken salad to be much better tasting and appealing for the same cost and at twice the volume of food. I can't remember the last time I had a salad this disappointing. I'm a bit surprised that they have so many locations considering the experience I had here was subpar at best. read more

They even packed up my salad in a to-go bowl without me asking as if to just get me out of there, when I was planning to dine in, but the cashier was quite kind and took her time.
