I really like salads. This place does it right. Fresh ingredients, attentive friendly staff, and on-time performance. I have had nothing but good experiences with the staff and the food. I am sure that the others who describe less positive experiences are sharing their truth. I'm just here to remind the reader that Mileage Varies. No business, no person delivers perfect performance every time. My thanks to the team! See you soon. read more

Our go to salad place. Fresh and wholesome ingredients, very friendly staff, nice ambience and always clean. Never had a bad meal there. Soda selection is novel and fun. I particularly enjoy their grain bowls, which are tasty, healthy and filling. Their seasonal Harvest Grain Bowl is not to be missed. The sourdough bread and chicken tortilla soup are AWESOME! read more

I normally don't clean my plate, but man, I didn't leave a crumb! I had the warm chili garlic shrimp, and it was so good! I just couldn't stop eating it. The staff was very friendly and made our orders really quick! I can't wait to come back. read more

First time and last time here. Just ordered a half salad with chicken via Door Dash. Paid $3 for chicken and didn't get a single piece of chicken. The salad is 95% lettuce; hardly any toppings. Just grisly black bacon and a few tomatoes. AND the lettuce was gross. See pics. Thanks a lot.... disappointed and want my money back! UPDATE: Manager responded within minutes of my review to apologize and offered to mail me a gift card. If that's not good customer service, idk what is. Will give it another go. read more

They have a good menu of salads but way overpriced. Seriously overpriced considering the service. Our employee literally had no idea how to make our salad and needed a card to guide her, she didn't toss the salad, gave us incorrect toppings, asked multiple times the same question and to boot the small salad was $14.50. The salad tasted good but not sure it was made right as we were going back and forth based on what the posted menu listed. Get that she was likely new but have a Sr manager shadow a new employee (?) Certainly don't mind paying a premium-- but you have to deliver service and higher quality to justify. Won't go back. Rather get a fresh salad at Whole Foods. read more

If this is going to be your first time trying this Salad Spot do yourself a favor and go to another location. And pleaseee don't order anything online. Today I ordered a BBQ ranch chicken salad with dressing on the side to go... got back home and not only was dressing not on the side- THE CHICKEN WAS BURNT. My employer offers a service to where we can order from this location and everyone knows that if they do, the order is going to be wrong. Maybe because the turn over rate is high. Who knows! What I do know is I'm never eating at this location again. The burnt chicken today has been enough! read more

Just ordered a Baja Shrimp wrap to be delivered to me, and it came with chips and salsa. We have been going to Snappy Salads on Park Boulevard in Plano for several years. In the last few months there has been a change of management in this store. Since then, store cleanliness, food quality, and food prep have suffered. There has been a promotion running and our last few visits have been essentially half-price. Even with that, we are not coming back. Sorry to see what was such a great lunch option become such a recurring disappointment. read more

Yes!! This is the type of place I've been wishing for. Healthy salads with good meats and the perfect blend for my keto diet. Tasty and delicious. This is my first time and I certainly hope to be back. It's not expensive and it's like a healthy version of Chipotle fast casual. I'm going to come here every chance I get. I wish there was one closer to my house. read more

Today I called in a to go order of the grilled avocado salad with fried artichoke hearts. I was so excited to indulge in the same deliciousness I had less than a week ago. I asked to come and pick it up @ 12 noon. When I arrived I saw salad that appeared to be mine, was placed on the counter. It looked nothing like the meticulously prepared salad I had the first time. The salad was swimming in oil that started to turn the bright green lettuce brown. I am upset that Snappy Salads would serve a paying customer a salad with enough oil to dress two salads with. I rarely leave reviews, but in this case I felt it was justified. (Not to mention I paid $13 plus for basically soggy wet lettuce and oil) Not sure if I will purchase another salad from them. The only reason why I gave them 2 stars is for the fried artichoke hearts. They were great! Surprisingly there was no oil in that container :( The first picture below is from the first salad I had about a week ago. read more

My sister and I wanted something healthy. We searched Yelp & found this place. She got the grilled avocado (ask for chicken if you want some) and I got the BBQ Chicken Salad. They were very generous with portion size. The chicken was nice and crisp and plenty of dressing as well! If you want a burger then get the BBQ Chicken, the dressing tasted like Big Mac's dressing. The salad just tasted like a burger to me but not nasty. It was tangy & sweet. My sisters salad tasted like chipotle as well. So if you want salads that taste like your fav foods then come here! read more

Ironically the one-star is because I love Snappy Salads rather than the inverse. But having been a long-term patron of the Greenville location and recently the Preston-Belt Line location, there's something definitively off about the West Plano location. Consistently, none of the salad bowls at the West Plano store gets cleared (see picture). I've sat at the place for 30 minutes, and I have not seen one tray cleared by any of the employees...and to find a spot to eat, you literally have to clear a space by pushing down trays & bowls down the long tables. I've encountered this on numerous visits to the West Plano location, so this experience is really not an outlier. But today (as I'm writing this post-meal), it was a tipping point, because the dining experience was just unbearably unpleasant (having seen the area near the soda fountains, the lemon container, etc). Observing the mess in the "front of the house" makes you imagine the potential mess and cleanliness in the kitchen - which is pertinent given that the ingredients in a salad are predominantly uncooked. Let me be clear that this is not the case at Snappy's other locations; the West Plano store may just be an outlier. I'll also say that having personally observed the proprietor (Chris Dahlander) of Snappy Salads diligently clean and clear tables at the Greenville location, I'm almost certain he would not stand for this if he were on-site. So let this one-star just be a waiving-of-the-flag for requested improvement, with my full intent to remove upon redress (operationally, not personally). Thanks, Concerned Snappeople read more

Really liked Snappy Salads! It's like the love child of Chipotle and Souper Salad...head down the line and tell them how to build your perfect salad. Or opt for one of their suggested blends. Either way you can't go wrong. I had the grilled avocado salad - very tasty. I would have liked slightly less dressing because I prefer a lighter touch with dressing so I can enjoy the vegetable flavor on its own. FYI - The half snap size is more than large enough for one person. read more

Let's face it, salads can get boring. But Snappy Salads has found a way to make them exciting and delicious again with locally sourced and fresh ingredients. Their slogan "so good even guys like our salads" is no joke. Even my fiance craves their Bam Bam Salad (which is by far the best thing on their menu). I also enjoy the Fried Artichoke salad which seems healthy with just a touch of naughty fried goodness on top. No matter what you order here you're sure to enjoy every last bite. My only gripe about Snappy Salads is their paper straws. I know we're trying to save the environment and all but there is just something really odd about sipping tea through paper. They do catering (which I've personally experienced) and the girl who does it is super sweet and accomodating. Also, you can order your salad online and skip the lunch hour rush by picking it up at the side register which I've done before as well. All around 5 stars!! It goes without saying that I'll be be coming back as often as I possibly can. read more

The past two times my husband and I have eaten here they have not gotten our Salads correct. The last time they forgot wontons and edamame from my Warm Chili Garlic Salad. This time we ordered to go and they put the wrong dressing on the salad which really ruined it. I hate to leave this review because I love the flavors and variety however I won't be coming back until I know a salad I'm paying $14 for is going to be made correctly. Update 5/5/19- We came in today and it was quite busy but were pleasantly surprised. We were greeted and attended to quickly. Our orders were correct and delicious. Thank you to the manager Daniel for reaching out and providing extra training to the staff. It showed in our meals today! read more

Oh my goodness!!! Don't let the long line fool you because it moves quickly! I intend to try every salad on the menu. The service was exceptional. And before I could blink my eyes, my empty bowl was picked up by the staff. Basically, what I'm really trying to say is: I LOVE THIS PLACE AND I WILL RETURN!!!!! read more

I like a good salad as much as the next guy but it is simply getting too painful to visit this location. They are chronically short staffed by the time you make it through the line you are ready for a 3/4 lb. burger. Their latest customer service gem was to charge me for extra dressing after I asked for it on the side. I only asked for dressing on the side because half the time they spray the thing with a firehose if you have them put it on. Am I asking too much to have the volume control? Really? Anyway, somewhere the CEO of Snappy Salads is floating on his new mega-yacht, appropriately named the "SS Extra Dressing", sipping Cristal with a satisfied grin as he basks in the glow of his genius, money-making salad dressing scheme. read more

This was my second time ever going so I'll also put my review of this place when I went there last week. So I went to Snappy Salads for my first time last week. I was pretty jazzed, I wanted a salad and there was a salad place so close to my house and so I went. In most places, they get so excited when it's your first time EVER to come into their establishment. This particular store, wasn't so thrilled that it was my first go around. Then when I came back today, the same people who helped me out last time were there this time and didn't say "hi" or even acknowledge me until I asked if I could create my own salad. The food and cleanliness was perfection. Could use a change in the attitude though. read more

Last in there was very nice. I created a salad with pulled chicken. Came home and weighed the chicken. The pulled chicken was only 2 oz.... $16 for a salad with 9 grams of protein. What a joke. I won't be back. read more

The lettuce was bad and they barely filled up my bowl. The service was very slow and the preston hollow location is much better.

After getting an email from Snappy Salads saying "We've missed you, come back", I decided to drop in and redeem my buy-one, get-one free offer on a half snap salad. I left my office without my purse and just grabbed my keys and phone only to realized when I got to the register to pay, that I didn't have my wallet or any means to pay! Moment of panic sets in. I explain to the person behind the register that I had forgotten my wallet back at the office. I asked if he could box up my salads and hold them while I drive back to the office to get my wallet and he was so nice and accommodating and said I was welcome to hang out and eat my lunch and I could come back after I was done eating and pay. First off, I was really embarrassed & humbled that I had such a senior moment but I was really surprised by how understanding he was. I made sure to let him know as I was leaving and said I would be right back in 20 minutes. I was back in 10! He said, "Wow, that was fast!" I really appreciated his kindness and understanding and I throughly LOVED the two salads that I ordered - the Reel Deal (salmon) and the Ahi Tuna salad were amazing and delicious (even when I ate it the next day for lunch). So much so that I came back 2 days later and ordered another Ahi Tuna Salad. I ordered it on my app and it was waiting for me all packaged up and ready to go. It was super easy and convenient. Now that I know what to order, I'll be coming back! read more

I like Snappy Salads. The original Forrest location is near my office, so I have been a fan for many years. It's been great to see this restaurant grow to the point where multiple locations now exist. On any given day, the line at lunch remains busy. Menu & Ingredients - the salad components are always fresh. Every time I have eaten here, it seems as if the ingredients were just chopped up before hitting my bowl. Nothing looks aged or wilted. The variety of ingredients is extensive. Service - Service at this location is probably the only area that could use some improvement. Perhaps it's timing, but every time I visit this location, it seems as if the person making my salad is "new". Probably just the nature of the business. I can count on one hand the times something was done incorrectly, however in each case, the restaurant was happy to correct the mistake. Price - Eating healthy isn't cheap. It is what it is. The more ingredients or "proteins" you add on, the higher the price. Just something to be aware of before you end up with a $20 salad. My suggestion is to go with the preset menu as opposed to making your own. If you must make your own, just ask questions. They are happy to help. One more point in relation to your attempt to eat healthy by dining at Snappy Salads. Salad dressing is delicious, but can also be a huge calorie bomb. Watch the person adding the dressing because they can sometimes get carried away. What started out as a healthy attempt at a meal can be destroyed by one person's heavy hand. If that's not your concern, then tell them to go to town with that squeeze bottle and enjoy. read more

I love snappy Salads. I am a price conscious hungry vegan. I get the large salad with 3 interesting greens and twelve toppings. I indulge in the dressing that appeals to me that day, but you can ask them to leave it off or have it on the side. I get Greens, Beans, nuts and veggies. I get a glass of water. Normal people cannot finish this salad and can take the rest of it home. I recommend ordering it at the restaurant, that way you can pick the indredients that look best to you that day. I always do the Create your Own Salad: pick your Greens, Toppings and dressing --easy once you get the hang of it. It is important to get enough Beans and Nuts in your toppings. read more

The customer service wasn't good. I spoke with Cindy (server) to request three sides of meat, double chicken and one side of steak tenderloin. [In the state of Texas, the mask mandate has been lifted. I have been wearing a mask for 15 months so I am aware of how to adjust the volume of my voice when speaking to another party. Until the pandemic is completely gone, I will wear my mask to protect myself.] Cindy said that she wasn't able to hear me because of MY mask and the music in the restaurant. I mentioned to her that I was going to make sure I was protect myself. The chicken I asked for was shorted - she shorted and STILL charged me for double the amount. I don't know if the other customers were treated differently but I know today, I was.
