But when I got the wrap... omg it was HUGE!! I was like oh wow.. I was surprised to find that it was like a chipotle burrito. I had a promo, which definitely made it worth it. You pick the protein that you want. A few of them have an upcharge if it's not chicken. The salad looks sizeable too. They offer a pretty good selection of salads, like Greek, Thai, Cobb, Caesar, and Ranch, as well as dressings of your choice. I like their Thai salad, which has cucumber slices, shredded carrots, romaine lettuce, and red cabbage. They are all very fresh. The dressing is actually what I like the most. It's peanuty, spicy but not too strong, with a subtle tangy and sour note. For my protein option, I've tried their chicken and tofu. The chicken is fine. I like the tofu better though, which is moist, tender, and savory. They also offer seasonal lemonade drink. I've had their cucumber mint lemonade, which is super refreshing especially on a hot Texas summer day! The service is fast. I was there one time during the peak lunch hour. I am such a salad and go fan!! That's why I was pretty bummed to not have a great experience. I went to this location for the first time today and ordered two salads, one with chicken on the side. When I went to the window to pick it up, I looked in the bag and saw chicken on the salad and alerted the woman at the window. She told me that I should have put the "chicken on the side" request somewhere else (still uncertain where else?). She informed me they would remake the salad and closed the window. As I waited, a second woman rudely told me that another customer was waiting, but I was confused bc no one ever asked me to wait to the side. I've seen a couple of Salad and Go locations and today was the day to give it a try! The line was long but it really moved very fast. They have the "and Go" part down pat! I ordered the Cobb salad with chicken and no green onions. The salad came just as I ordered it and it was super fast!! I thought that it would be mainly romaine lettuce with a little field greens, there was a majority of field greens and I don't really care for field greens at all. The tomatoes tasted a little bitter and old. The chicken was ok, avocado and hard boiled egg was excellent. The bacon bits were not really to my liking and so plentiful and I should have asked for no bacon. The price is great and service was so speedy and friendly. I will definitely give it another try with some alterations in what I order. And after reading other reviews, I can't wait to try one of their beverages! read more

Fast, fresh, affordable. What the heck is not to like! There are so many things I liked about this place. The salads are super reasonable in price, the menu is simple, and portion sizes are fairly large. They are not skimpy with toppings, they put a ton of ingredients on your salad. I got the cob salad. There was so much bacon on mine, I had a bits of bacon with every bite. I appreciate the freshness and quality of their food. The only thing I would change would be more eco friendly containers. Avoid the long lunch lines by placing your order online and then walking up to the window to pick it up. I don't know why so many people in Texas hate getting out and walking. It's not like you're walking across a football field or anything. Drinks are $1 and salads at $5.75 are such an amazing deal and simply a no brainer. Big serving of quality salads for $5.74 which includes the first serving of protein, $1 signature lemonades, yes!! A $1 for a really refreshing drink!!!! Very affordable and very healthy. Well, every time I go to the S&G in Plano on Coit and 15th, it is a disappointment! While other locations don't scrimp on ingredients, this location is blatantly providing substantially less! In a Fajita salad there were only five little pieces of chicken, and maybe 10 black beans!!! It looked NOTHING like the picture on the screen! ALSO, the Avocado WAS UNCUT (just a big hunk)... I mean REALLY!!! Other than alittle Tomato, I couldn't even find any other ingredients in the box/bowl! It's cheap, it's quick, no frills just quality food at a good value. I can't believe the drinks are only $1, including cold brew! Imma keep eating here until I wake up from this dream that's too good to be true. This is the best value of quality and cost. Usually when it's cheap you have to sacrifice, but the food did not disappoint. Also they even thought about the container, it's big enough to shake up the salad after putting dressing. I was thoroughly enjoying my wrap I had ordered from Salad N Go (Plano- Coit/15th). Towards the end of a few bites that I had left, the wrap began to naturally come undone & fell apart. No biggie, this is normal. However, what was not normal was the fact that an insect rolled out along with the rest of the ingredients of a Jalapeño Ranch Wrap! I understand this occasionally happens in life, probably more so than I'd like to know. But the fact that I experienced it and saw it in front of me from a place where standards "should" be much higher (freshly consumed produce, etc.) was a huge let down. Someone dropped the ball here. I've been wanting to go to this place for so long! I drive by it almost daily, and finally stopped today! We ordered the jalapeño ranch and caear salads. The portions were fantastic! And the taste was superb! The packaging was one of my favorites -- the bottom holds the contents of course, but top has extra room, allowing for you to pour your dressing in, close it back up, and shake it up! If you're looking for healthy fast food that's affordable, this is the place to go. I got a Cobb salad that came with copious amount of toppings include chicken, bacon, egg and avocado for 5.74. While most of the ingredients fresh, the chicken definitely needs some works as it is a bit dry. The salads are also heavy on bitter salad greens which I am not a huge fan of. They're planning to expand to other places in the DFW area. I got the southwest sonoran salad ($5.74), which comes with a Serrano lime vinaigrette. The dressing comes in a separate packet so you don't have to worry about the salad getting soggy. Salad contains Organic Romaine (when available), Organic Mixed Greens, Roasted Poblano Peppers, Marinated Chickpeas, Hand-cut Corn, Organic Carrots, Red Onions, Pepitas, Pepper Jack Cheese, and choice of Chicken or Tofu. This salad was so fresh and flavorful! The chicken is so tender that it's shreddable. I also got the blueberry basil lemonade ($1). $1!!!! It's tangy and herby. I loved it.
