We initially reached out to Linda over a year ago to understand the Albany, CA market as we were moving from Oakland. After some investigation, we decided to rent first and told Linda we would be back in touch in 6-8 months. She understood and was not pushy at all. Earlier this year we were ready to revisit purchasing again and reached out to her. She provided us with lots of useful information and set proper expectations with us. She has a very calm and organized style that's helpful in this chaotic real estate environment. We saw probably 6-7 places, 3 of which interested us. That's when Linda went into "attack" mode. She was very proactive, reached out to the seller agents often, and kept us in the loop. Realistically, she probably could've gotten us into contract on all 3 places but in the end we went with the one that best suited our needs. Thank you Linda!

It was so great to work with Linda to get the perfect townhouse. She was very proactive, sending us…read morelistings that she thought we would be interested in, and always making time to show us houses in person. When we found one we really wanted, she worked extra hard over the holidays and through a tricky contract to make the deal happen. As a first-time homebuyer, she made the process easy and walked us through every step. Definitely pick Linda if you are house hunting in the Bay Area. I would give her more stars if I could!

Urban Ore Place is a large salvage yard and reuse center that features house items: furniture,…read morehardware, tools, and building materials section outside that's been around 40+ years! I used to visit to find that hidden gem or get inspired to transform a piece of unwanted item into a functional item like a planter or garden art. This place is great for a DIYer or handy man as items have so much potential but can be a bit overwhelming if you're looking for something specific. My recent visit was to find a replacement window for a mini table-top greenhouse I put together about 15 years ago. Unfortunately, after a recent windstorm, 1 window broke and needed to be replaced. The original windows I bought were from a salvage/building resource spot in SF. At the time, buying 6 windows cost me $70 at most. Now (15 years later) for the same quality it will cost you $35-$60/window at Urban Ore. Ouch! I guess these windows may be used for a remodel of an older home. They do have another section for cheaper windows but sadly they look like the one I'm trying to replace...some wood rot, flimsy, peeling and weathered as they're not protected from the elements. Staff outside are friendly and helpful. Worth a stop to check out but some pricing on items a bit higher. Parking inside the gate and along the street.

Very recently I witnessed Urban Ore stop staff placing thousands of CDs into the trash. I asked…read more"why"? and was told "the cases were cracked or the discs were scratched". I went to the front and offered to take the CDs they were sending to the landfill. I stated I had boxes with me - the staff seemed amenable however when the manage Claudio was asked he overruled them and stated "no" - the CDs are now on the landfill - I have a machine to resurface discs, a press to flatten creased artwork and thousands of cases - however a company who's catch phrase is "zero waste" dumped" thousands of perfectly salvageable items. I contacted Urban Ore via email, via messaging and tagged them in social media as well as posting on their own FB page - no response. People donate items to Urban Ore thinking they think they are keeping them out of the landfill - the behavior of Claudio shows that this is a lie and Urban Ore appears to be a scam.
