Quartzite slab
Mary S.

We visited multiple stores in the area for our kitchen renovation. Ended up purchasing about $10k of quartzite and zellige tile here. Shoutout to Tom, our salesperson! We love All Natural Stone and Tom, because of: 1. Knowledge and experience. The first time we came, Tom explained the differences between marble, quartz, porcelain, granite and quartzite. We initially thought we wanted quartz, because that's what all the home renovation shows use, but quickly learned that we love the durability and natural beauty of quartzite. 2. Selection. We visited 2 other speciality stone stores and 3 home renovation stores that sell stone and cabinets. Of these, All Natural had the best selection of quartzite. We did not find anything similar to what we purchased elsewhere. At another store, when I showed the salesperson our slabs, asking what they had with a similar look, they loved the slabs too and asked where I found them! 3. Service. Tom went above and beyond in helping us with a layout and in recommending stone fabricators. We needed to know for our project how many slabs we needed to buy so Tom did an initial layout for us. He also gave us a list of 3 recommended fabricators and we ended up using one of them. The slabs were also delivered to our fabricator for only $75. 4. Price. Honestly, I didn't compare slab prices prices, because I didn't find a comparable slab elsewhere. However, the zellige tile price was significantly lower than what I found online.

I was very pleased with my purchase from them. I got powder blue, cobalt blue and white tiles as well as a natural marble stone for the bathroom floors. They turned out beautiful, cleaned up well and are high quality tiles. I would purchase from this company again!

Off white always plays well with other colors.

Years ago, 7 to be exact, we went a place called Import Tile where we got a lovely marble like porcelain tile for our bathroom floors. This store had a great selection on its smallish space, was busy and bustling with activity. Fast forward to a couple months ago and we were contemplating a refresh of our bathroom. We kept receipts of the original tile and discovered that Import Tile was no more. Aieee! A casualty of the pandemic?? So we went on the Quest for New Tile for a Bathroom Refresh. I always loved natural stone like marble or even limestone, but the upkeep in a shower application? No thanks. And so when we saw this place we said, "natural stone?" no thanks and skipped it. Ha. Now more details on the Quest: we have a bright, warm color that we thought our tile needed to match or somehow complement. And we had this cool mirror with colors on it... so matching was getting a little complicated. The current tile was white glossy 3x3. Totally generic. Straight out of central casting. Aged well (amazing grout), but we thought this was a chance to bring our bathroom into the 21st c. As the Quest resulted in nothing, we came here, and discovered that Import Tile was reincarnated into this great big, airy space, with hundreds of choices! Slabs! Porcelain! Italian! Oy.... How. To. Choose? But do not hesitate. Angel helped us: brought out sample 1 and sample 2. A little chit chat and reflection, and we ended up with sample 1 and We. Are. Thrilled. It's off white, so it doesn't compete but complements our colors; and it's got cool texture, sort of a slightly weathered painted brick. Quest completed. Next time we'll just go here. Full stop.

Such a great tile store, with competitive prices, for sure! A few cons (lets get those out of the way): - They aren't open on Sundays, and very limited hours on Saturday. If you have that full time job, you are there Saturday with everybody else. - Some sales people were better than others, but to be expected. We ended up getting our floor tiles for a bathroom project there and wall tiles somewhere else, and while researching our other bathroom reno, we were going to do the exact same thing - wall tiles here, and floor tiles somewhere else. The floor tiles we did get were great, and I found them at home depot at a much higher price. Their return policy is great, giving you ample time to work around your contractor's schedule (although, there is a restocking fee). They also do usually have quite a big stock of inventory, which is great not having to special order things. They do ask for a deposit when taking samples home, but I get it. I'm sure a few people ruined it for all of us. Overall, with their friendly service, their pretty lengthy return policy, Import Tile is my first visit when looking for new tiles!

For those of you who are contemplating a remodel. There are so many challenges now with getting supplies on time the best advice I can offer is plan ahead and make appointments when you want help! So how does this apply to All Natural Stone. This is an awesome place with so much material from which to choose. They have very hard working staff with a special shout out to Billie with whom I have worked for many years. As some other reviewer stated she has laid tile and knows her stuff! I can't tell you how helpful it is to have someone like that in your hip pocket when doing design and getting a job to look fabulous! I have built two homes and remodeled several in the last 5 years and without ANS as a resource I don't think they would look as great. Since Covid it means you have to plan ahead and follow up -- people in the home products arena are really busy and things slip up - they are only human. Make an appointment don't expect to drop in and have help. There are other people who made appointments and they were there first... So be patient and you will get a great end product. See below for some images of the things that Billie and I came up with.

The floor to ceiling tile is epic, floors not in yet but this is amazing.

Expert help choosing beautiful tile for my high end bathroom. The adviser sat down with me sketched out a plan and brought me samples based on what I showed her on Houzz and the feeling I wanted to go for. Other showrooms just have shades of tan and so blah. Once you walk in here you will really be wowed and inspired. Love them! And now my remodel is almost complete the tile looks amazing.

This is our second bathroom redo and we loved working with the team here, we came back! Paolo helped create the vision for our small bathroom renovation and worked within our budget. Buying tile in-stock and checking ahead kept us on schedule w/contractors. The showroom is well organized and there are a diversity of options. (You need to check out their warehouse of stunning slabs of marble, onyx, stone, too)! Special shout out to Alana and Angel offering stellar customer service.

She was so patient, knowledgable and invested (excited even!) about my project. She thought through a bunch of options with me and even had her design team mock up renderings so I could visualize the installed tile. There was a 6-8 week lead time on the tile but it was worth the wait. She also introduced me to the Fireclay installation team and they ended up doing the tile installation for our whole house (including rooms that did not utilize Fireclay brand tiles). The installation team was professional, thorough, communicative and friendly. They consulted me about every preference and option and didn't do anything without my enthusiastic approval. We used a lot of antique tiles and uneven natural stones and they installed it all with care and precision. They were truly some of my favorite subcontractors of our whole project! Our kids' bathroom still isn't done...still waiting on cabinetry and paint but the tile is perfect and I was excited to post this review. Will try to add pics later :)

We initially reached out to Linda over a year ago to understand the Albany, CA market as we were moving from Oakland. After some investigation, we decided to rent first and told Linda we would be back in touch in 6-8 months. She understood and was not pushy at all. Earlier this year we were ready to revisit purchasing again and reached out to her. She provided us with lots of useful information and set proper expectations with us. She has a very calm and organized style that's helpful in this chaotic real estate environment. We saw probably 6-7 places, 3 of which interested us. That's when Linda went into "attack" mode. She was very proactive, reached out to the seller agents often, and kept us in the loop. Realistically, she probably could've gotten us into contract on all 3 places but in the end we went with the one that best suited our needs. Thank you Linda!

When we found one we really wanted, she worked extra hard over the holidays and through a tricky contract to make the deal happen.
