Selection is excellent. We were looking for a backsplash tile and went to a few stores as well as ordered 3-4 samples online. We were impressed with the selection here. They had zellige, talavera, and custom order artisanal tiles. Price is OK not good. On one tile I was interested in, the quote here was ~$20/sqft while it was ~$15/sqft at another local store. Service is OK. For one tile we were interested in, there were no samples and it took a few weeks before one was available.

I recently remodeled our bathroom. For the bathtub walls, I knew I wanted an accent wall, book-ended by two large format walls of a very simple tile. A plumber recommended I go by Oakland Art Tile - I'm so glad I did. I found many beautiful tiles that I was so grateful to see in person. They had a large selection, and I immediately fell in love with what we now have as our feature wall - a ~2.5"x8" tile with a soft blue/white ombre-type effect. It's beautiful! They also had a large format tile that beautifully complements the smaller tile. Eve was incredibly helpful every step of the way - selecting the tile, getting quotes, and selecting the accessories, including the grout. I highly recommend Oakland Art Tile!

I was so fortunate to work with Eve at Art Tile. She selected the perfect tile. It is exactly what I wanted and I was able to send her inspiration and she pulled the best samples. I really recommend working with a designer for your tile selection. Eve has a lot of style.

We had a fantastic time working with Eve on our tile for a kitchen renovation. She was very patient with us throughout our project as we visited multiple times to reconsider our options. We ended up going with Akdo subway tiles and are so beyond thrilled with the result. Ordering and pickup were super easy even during Covid and Eve helped facilitate the process. Tiles are high quality and we were still able to stay within our budget. Showroom is great and they have so many options on display. Highly recommend Art Tile!

Great variety of in stock product line from Schluter/Kerdi and excellent Contractor pricing. Having worked with Tommy from Import Tile ( now with Art tile) for over 20 years, I've decided to follow him over. His knowledge of tile and superior service are hard to come by. All the staff have been absolutely pro and greatly appreciated, if any of you, the staff read this and comment in person, I'll buy a case of quality Beer lol!

Little bit of color in the tile adds a lot of interest.

I went to Art Tile just to try and find some little decorative colorful border trim. I had already decided to put white subway tile in, but wanted to spruce it up a bit. Art Tile had exactly what I was looking for, an assortment of different styles and a wide selection of colors to choose from. My contractor and I measured carefully how much we would need in linear feet and ordered a little extra. When I went to pick it up, Art Tile had given me 2 extra ones. Very nice! Good thing they did as we ended up needing all but one. Would have been a hassle if we were short one tile as it takes 2 weeks to make them. Hint, if your design has a lot of corners, order even more than you think. Turned out great, check out the photos. And, everyone is very nice and helpful in the shop.

Installation was ok, but I felt like once the cabinets were in my house they didn't want to deal with me anymore. It was hard to get the refund for the extra panels and there were several teeny tiny sliver of pieces that I ordered but never received. My cabinet installer was able to create pieces to fit in these spaces (around the sink, above the refrigerator) but they were missing the factory finish, so they had rough edges. My biggest issue was that when we removed the plastic from the cabinets, the plastic coating on the larger pieces came off clean, but the plastic coating on the factory finished pieces would not budge. Even with all heart gun the plastic protective coating was very difficult to take off. It took several hours to remove the coating and even then, there was still adhesive left behind. I complained to Granite Expo and they simply didn't believe me and said of there was anything wrong with the cabinets, it was my fault. You live and you learn. Aside from the adhesive that won't come off, the quality of cabinets is good. I really wanted white high gloss cabinets and I mostly have that. I'm coming to terms with the mixture of high gloss and (sticky) matte finish on my kitchen cabinets since I have no other choice.

I contacted Urban Ore via email, via messaging and tagged them in social media as well as posting on their own FB page - no response. People donate items to Urban Ore thinking they think they are keeping them out of the landfill - the behavior of Claudio shows that this is a lie and Urban Ore appears to be a scam.
