I worked with Brad on replacing the linoleum in my bathroom. Everything went very smoothly, from choosing a product, to scheduling the installation. Brad was a pleasure to deal with. The installation could not have gone better: the installer arrived on time, worked diligently, cleaned up thoroughly, and was out promptly. But I think he deserves a shout-out for the BEAUTIFUL job he did. He had to remove many baseboards and thresholds, but when he replaced them, he really went the extra yard, not only carefully caulking the baseboards when he put them back, but touching up the paint, filling the nail holes and painting over them, so everything looked perfect. And he even cleaned the thresholds so they looked even better than before. I'd give them more stars if I could. read more

A huge selection of floor coverings. I first used them when I remodeled my kitchen 10 years ago. They are a local business and I have tried to support them through the years. With the pandemic, they have been very busy so be patient with installation time lines. I've had engineered wood planks and vinyl installed in the past and this time it was be luxury vinyl tile. All of the sales people are nice and knowledgeable but I especially like Shawna who helped give me design ideas with colors I had in a room. Floor Dimensions was backlogged with work, so it took several weeks before they could come out to do my job, but I was very happy with the results. read more

Floor Dimensions has installed vinyl flooring and carpeting for us many times over many years. They just completed the most challenging job yet--remove old kitchen flooring and install hardwood flooring. The job they did is incredible! Their installers could not have been more professional, efficient and friendly. When they finished the job, the floor looked great (of course), but equally impressive is how thoroughly they cleaned up, vacuuming and wiping all surfaces and floors to remove the inevitable sawdust. I cannot recommend Floor Dimensions more highly. I should also mention how helpful our sales person was. Jason patiently explained all of the hardwood options, and answered all of our questions. Loved our experience with Floor Dimensions! We actually went in a year earlier, they came out to take measurements of our three staircases for stair runners, and then we didn't end up moving forward because of other house priorities. We came back and they still had all our information on file, so we picked out a new carpet to use (and they let us take the whole board of swatches home to make sure), and then installation happened just a couple weeks later, which went very smoothly and quickly. read more

Our house needed to be rid of the 30 year old carpeting and decided to go wood for the next 30. Tracy was super helpful in the showroom and processed our transaction without missing a step. Including finding enough of the wood we selected getting an install done on the date(s) we needed. Ceasar and Pablo did the install and had it completed in 2/3's the time estimated. They cleaned up each day and made sure all the materials and tools were set aside so we could still live in the available space. Overall the place looks GREAT and brand new, now its an ignition source on all the other things we need done since the floors now look so good. Pros: Overall the installers did a good job, and very fast: Less than four hours to remove old carpet and install 1100 ft (pad were not replaced, so that sped things up a bit). Jason was friendly, and helped me by writing separate receipts to bill tenants for one room. Cons: I visited the store and selected a carpet. They entered my information into their computer. When it came time to install a few weeks later, they had lost the information, and I had to return to the store to select again. They broke a shelf in one bedroom closet, and neglected to re-install a shelf in a second closet- they never mentioned it and just left. They did pay for replacement brackets. The carpet they installed seven years ago developed a sizeable ridge (half inch high) at the seam in the middle of the living room. The new carpet immediately had the same ridge, but less pronounced (see pic). Amazingly, they just left it. After three phone calls over one week they returned to fix it. He pounded it with a hammer and combed the fibers, which helped reduce the ridge, but it is still noticeable. He tried to convince me that this was normal. When I asked if customers were okay with it he didn't answer. He tried to tell me that the ridge was there because of high tension, and over time it will relax. I explained that the reverse is true, that less tension would tend to increase the ridge, and I used a slacked rope analogy, which resulted in his rolling his eyes at me. I have a physics degree from Cal, so I know a little bit about this stuff. Finally, when Jason called to ask about the fix, in a helpful tone I offered feedback on the installers regarding the eye-rolling. Instead of apologizing and thanking me for the feedback, he interrupted me several times with 'Okay, let me know if you have further concerns' to end the conversation, they way one might do if a customer droned on for ten minutes or was complaining about minutia, but this had been two minutes, and rolling your eyes at a customer is not minutia. This explains why the installers feel free to be rude- they can easily get away with it from sales people who don't care. read more

After my last great experience with Floor Dimensions I went back to have them replace old ceramic tiles in my kitchen and laundry area with LVT. Again, they were easy to work with and did an excellent job. A couple of things were not exactly per my expectations and they were quick to remedy them with no fuss. Molly was especially knowledgeable and detail oriented - start to finish. She showed us an engineered white oak floor in a herringbone pattern that fit both our odd pie-shaped living area and our budget. I wanted to write this review for a few reasons--as a consumer, as a landlord, and as a realtor. They check all my boxes and will be a go-to in the future. I needed one very small roll of carpet for a walk-in closet, and I wanted to shop remnants for environmental reasons. The last part didn't work out too well (remnants all too large, but with pressure to buy one so they don't cut from new roll), but I was able to rehome my leftover remnant of remnant in a sustainable way after all. That part was luck, though. Anyway: GREAT selection of not just carpets but all types of flooring. Good prices, good service. I asked for a quote on Yelp, and I got an answer right away. Manuel and Manuel were on time, very considerate of my old furniture and left everything clean and neat. The only request I would ask is if all carpet installers added planing down doors as part of their "skill set" as the new carpet is usually higher than the old one making closing doors impossible. A change of plan prompted me to come back here at Floor Dimensions! I've decided to use vinyl sheet for my bathroom floors instead of vinyl planks that I originally purchased here. I worked with Jason and he was kind, patient, up-front and informative. We bought a slightly lower grade carpet but we are completely satisfied with it along with the customer service received. Extra padding was recommended on the stairs and upon going up and down, the tip was much appreciated. We've had the carpet one month and there's been no visible pulling of the carpet, which has occurred in the past with heavy furniture; the carpet was laid out very evenly and done well. The installers were EXCELLENT, always arrived right on time, worked throughout the day, and the end result is gorgeous new floors in two rooms of the house. The existing flooring in this old house presented some challenges, which were readily handled by the installation team.
