I always like to deal with local businesses. When time came to replace my kitchen floor, I contacted Granada Floors. Mona suggested waterproof flooring matching kitchen cabinets and counter tops. She came to the house to take measurements and I got a proposal next day. After 2 days of work my kitchen looks upscale. They also replaced my kitchen door. I will recommend Granada Floors to anybody. read more

We came here over a recent weekend and I had a photo of a Shaw flooring that I liked. The manager was nice enough to find a matching color but they didn't carry the Shaw brand. The manager said all the flooring was just as good but unfortunately this doesn't actually give us comparable facts (veneer thickness, overall thickness of flooring, etc.). My feeling is that the brands here are limited. I looked up a brand of flooring they recommended and it was a lower end brand probably made in China. That may be just fine but I am also weary about off-gassing. Where the product is made and where the materials come from does matter to me. I'm currently looking at online venders where products come from Sweden that actually end up being similarly priced with very little off-gassing and is sustainable. I found some good contractors off Angi online and will be overseeing the project myself. While the quote given to me was reasonable (9500) for the first floor of my home, I would feel more comfortable having more choices in the material that I walk on and breath in everyday. read more

I recently replaced the 25-year-old flooring in my home, which included carpet, tile, and linoleum. I did extensive research on flooring types, materials, padding, etc., and received five estimates, ranging from $9K to $25K. Through that process, I learned that much of the price difference comes down to the quality of the materials and the installation. Granada Floors offered a great balance of quality materials, reasonable pricing, and superior personal attention. It's important to me to support local, small businesses, and I was excited to learn that Granada Floors is also a women-owned business. That's when I met Mona, and from the beginning, she was a joy to work with. Mona is a warm professional who clearly takes pride in the products she offers. Her family has been in the flooring business for decades, and she now owns Granada Floors. With a background in interior design, she doesn't just sell flooring--she comes to your home to consult with you about what will work best in terms of colors, materials, and budget. She is honest, diligent, and very easy to work with. Communication was excellent throughout the process. The installation was completed in just two days in my 1,400 sq ft home, installing 12 mm waterproof laminate flooring throughout. The floors look beautiful and have completely transformed the space. I highly recommend Mona and Granada Floors! read more

Service requested: 5/5 I was on the hunt for some porcelain tiles in a beige/off-white color. Granada floors had 3-4 different tiles I was trying to pick from that met this criteria, appearance-wise they were so stunning it was a bit difficult for me to even choose which to go with. Quality and value: 5/5 My previous cracked porcelain tile was removed, and new MSI onyx porcelain tile was put in. So far, I have had no issues and the grout color was an easy pick. The tiles themselves feel very durable and the patterns on the tiles in each box is diverse enough that one does not need to worry about having too many of one particular print. Customer service: 5/5 Ali, the gentleman who helped me decide which tile to pick, is extremely knowledgeable and informative. The tiles arrived within about a week, and he even offered to have them delivered sooner. I had updates on the arrival as well, which was a very useful touch. The staff at Granada floors goes above and beyond any other flooring store I have interacted with, and for any future projects anyone may be considering I would highly recommend them. read more

I moved into a house in Pinole that had old and ugly carpeting, old Formica kitchen countertops, average-looking kitchen cabinets, and a poor-quality kitchen sink. I have pets and want floors that could be easily cleaned. I also needed interior design help selecting what would look nice in my space, and I did not want to project manage the home improvements. Mona at Granada Floors came to my house and helped me select great options for the space. She project-managed all of the renovations and took care of everything. I am so pleased with the results. I went to her with any concerns I had and she resolved them. I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I feel like I am in a new house. We are researching new flooring for our kitchen and as Granada installed new flooring in our entire upstairs space I reached out to them. Mona replied and scheduled an in store appt. We want vinyl and she gave us several books for us to look through. None of the designs worked in the space though they replied that if I found product from another mfg, to please reach out to them. The store has accounts with many manufacturers, she is doing the research on our behalf. read more

After living with cheap carpet my dog destroyed and boring linoleum floors for 6 years, it was time for an overhaul. I decided to go with luxury vinyl plank flooring since it is the best option with a dog in the house: waterproof, durable, and stylish. On recommendation from a friend who recently had his floors done, I called Granada Flooring. Mona was very knowledgeable and helpful, and being that this was a small business a mile down the road, I was able to take home several floor samples to compare. We went to visit the store on a Saturday, picked out our flooring that same day, and installation began on Friday. Within 7 days, I had beautiful new flooring. Mona made the process so easy and seamless. I must also give a shoutout to our installer Mike. I was told to expect 3-4 guys, but Mike was the only one who could make it. However, I could not believe the rapid speed in which he ripped up the old carpet, demoed the tile, and leveled the floor. By 6pm, 85 percent of the flooring was already done. Mike came back the next day and completed the floors in a couple of hours, and his attention to detail and precise workmanship showed that he had been doing this forever. Being that I am OCD and very nitpicky about details, everything was done perfectly with virtually no input from my end. I am loving my new floors. Mona's suggestions and guidance helped change the face of my house and make it look like it came out of a magazine. I am recommending Granada Floors to everyone! Thank you again! read more

I have been putting off reflooring my family room for a couple years (since my dog ate a corner of the carpet) because I was worried about the hassle involved in redoing the floor. I knew I wanted to switch to tile so my dog couldn't destroy the floor again. I finally got around to dealing with the floor this year, and worked with Ali at their Floor Gallery location in Fremont. He was super responsive and made the whole process quick and painless. I am a teacher, and it was already pretty late in the summer and I wanted to get the project finished before the school year started. Once the tile was picked, they were able to schedule the job quickly (within a week or two). They had told me that the project would probably take three days, but they managed to finish it in two. The floor and baseboards were done just in time before the school year started and we are very happy with the quality of the work! The tile looks great! And my dogs definitely can't destroy it! read more

We worked directly with Mona, which was a great experience. She was very attentive, had great communication skills and made the process of replacing our floors very smooth. Mona came to the house to take a look, take measurements and pointed out issues that might arise, which we did not even think of or imagine. She provided a quote and the job started the following week. We were given an estimated day of completion and they delivered as promised. The work was spectacular, clean, detailed and well done. Do ask for Mona if you ever wanted to change your floors, it was a delight to work with her! Thank you Mona! read more

We bought our floors here and couldn't ask for a better experience. At first we were really price shopping at LL Flooring and all the options were ugly. We ended up buying from them but after we started installing we couldn't stomach it. So we went locally to Granada and Mona hooked it up! Such a huge quality difference. Sure it cost a tiny bit more but it was SO worth it. Mona was so helpful and patient. Will be back for future flooring needs and for our tile backsplash. read more

I used Granada last year to install laminated flooring on the first floor of my house with new base boards and they did a terrific job. I hired them this year around June to install new carpeting on the stairs and all the bedrooms on the second floor. I got quotes from several stores and Granada price was within the ball park of the others quotes I received. The installation went smoothly and the carpet looked and felt great. There were a couple areas in which I was disappointed. I told them I had a squeak in one section of the floor which they said they would fix but they never did. Also the base board work was not up to par with the person who installed the base board the year before on the first floor. These are minor problems I could live with but disappointed that the workmanship` was lacking this time around. They are still a good company and reasonably priced. read more

First class operation. They replaced all the floors in my home perfectly. Competitive with their pricing while offering excellent customer service. The men that replaced the floors worked like machines and treated my home as if it was their own. I was also impressed with the selection they had. I would absolutely use them again. read more

Needing to reface our fireplace, I was referred to Granada through a wholesaler since I had been unable to locate a local supplier who carried a specific product. I was delighted to learn that right here in El Sobrante a new store was about to open and one who carried all the products I would need. I gave them a call and we made an appointment and met with Ali the following day. Though the store had not yet officially opened to the public, he did everything to accommodate my needs. He was very helpful, offering a few suggestions and I placed an order the very same day. The following day, I was able to pick up the entire shipment from a warehouse. Everything was in perfect condition and there were no errors in the order, since numerous different items were ordered. A few days later, the contractor was working on the job when a subtle design change was made and I needed quickly to purchase additional material. I texted Ali with all the necessary information and shortly thereafter he replied to tell me that the item had been order and would be ready for pickup an hour later. This really helped the contractor and me, so that there would be no loss of time on the project. It is for this very reason, I gave Granada a 5 star review. Granada has a great selection of tile flooring, kitchen and bath tiles and natural stone tiles. Their pricing was competitive and reasonable, as I had visited a number of stores throughout the East Bay before settling on Granada. Please give them a try. read more

Granada Floors just finished replacing the floor in my entire home with a mix of vinyl spc flooring and carpet in the bedrooms only. Mona helped me from day 1 with measurements and explaining the different options we had available. After selecting the floors we wanted, we decided to wait for the install to occur for a few months to ensure we had everything in order. When it came time for the floors to be installed, everyone showed up when they were supposed to. The three guys that installed the floor were great and did an extremely professional job with only one small snafu. The caulking around the toilets upon completion was done quickly and just looks messy (but this would be truly nitpicking every little thing) and Mona offered to have them come back and fix it, but my wife wants to replace the toilets now so no point to re-caulk around them. The floors look amazing and I would definitely use Granada Floors for any future work that I may need. read more

Granada Flooring is downright amazing ! Ali Sadiq met with us and went over choices for flooring, baseboard trim, coloring and timelines. All the torn up carpet, tiles, old baseboards etc. hauled away-- all done in 2.5 days. In truth, Ali is the nicest and most helpful contractor I ever have met. He deserves a five point review. I was in a panic over the install date I was given for the flooring I ordered from another vendor. Wasn't going to be until the first week in February!! As we are trying to sell the house it was imperative that it be done sooner. Living in the area I noticed the store on Valley View Rd. I called to see if they would do just an install and was told yes. Ali came out that very afternoon, gave a quote, which was great and so he was hired. He originally said they would start the next week. When he realized the need for ASAP he was able to juggle some things and started the very next day. Ali and his crew are great and did a magnificant job. Very pleased. It was a large job and they finished the entire house in 4 days. Ali did an excellent job on my floating floor that was buckling. He was easy to work with from start to finish.

Granada did an outstanding job replacing all of the floors and baseboard in my 1800 sq ft condo (mix of hardwood and carpet). Their team of installers went the extra mile to make sure every detail was perfect, including demolition of old tile floors and complimentary leveling of the floor in certain areas, and somehow they managed to do the entire job in less than 2 days. It was amazing to watch them work and the team was friendly and communicative throughout the entire process. The quality of the materials they recommended was also top notch. I highly recommend Granada and will be using them for future projects! read more

This place is horrible!!!! I went their with my sister a few weeks ago to pick out some flooring for her house and as soon as we walked in we noticed that the owner was giving us attitude, we didn't think anything of it so we kept looking around until we found a floor we liked. We finally found something we liked and decided to make a deal, but we did not know about their cash policy so we told her that we needed to go to the bank and get the funds... She seemed really desperate to make a sale and offered to go with us to the bank.. Who does that!!!!!! I told her no and that we would be back.First of all it was way overpriced, and the customer service was horrible!!!! I am never going back and am never going to recommend this place to anyone. We ended up finding the exact same floor for $1 per sqft less than what she had originally quoted us for. Our overall experience at Granada floors was horrendous. Never going back read more

This is my first review, as I normally don't take the time to rate businesses. However, Granada tile Hardwood provided fantastic professional service installing flooring at my house, so I felt an obligation to do so. I've worked with a number of contractors on various projects and I can easily say that Granada is head and shoulders above the rest. I wasn't sure of the type of flooring, but Granada provided excellent recommendations/consultation based on their experience. Once the flooring was installed I expected to find some issues, but there were none. These guys are true professionals and super easy to work with! I highly recommend their service! read more
