I would not recommend this establishment to anyone, especially to those that identify as a person of color. My husband and I walked in and spent over 10 minutes inside without being greeted or acknowledged. One representative even walked directly past me while deliberately avoiding eye contact. We are currently remodeling two homes and were prepared to purchase flooring, but they will never receive our business. I understand when staff are busy, but there is no excuse for ignoring customers. We were very pleased with Kayla Schwartz for the exceptional service she provided. She recommended several selections and helped us select the best flooring for our kitchen remodel. She was also very upfront telling us delivery can take up to 3 weeks but the product was delivered much earlier and true to her words they assigned an installer right away who came and installed our floors as soon as the product was received. Kayla was great when we first ordered. Everything was on sale so we went back to order more flooring for rest of house. 2nd order Kayla not working. Everyone that helped us was nice. We had several order pick ups that's where it wasn't to good. We didn't get something from first order Kayla said we did. She said your husband picked it up. I said I was with my husband and we did not get it. Then second order went to pick up few things and told them we didn't get parts from first order and Kayla was a bit rude said I will go look again. This was an EXCELLENT experience. We needed to pull up carpeting and install laminate (for ease of wheelchair use). Angel is fast, efficient, courteous, professional and a true highly skilled craftsman who goes the extra mile. The Floor Store attempted to install damaged and discolored solid wood planks in my home, thankfully I took the week off and stopped the project. The Floor Store told me they checked the second shipment before it arrived at my home. It was the same damaged and discolored product. Now they are saying that they won't be able to install a new project will after Christmas or the New Year. And that I can no longer have the product which I ordered and still have a contract for them to complete. So when they do get around to selling me my second choice I will have to take another week off to make sure they don't try to bait and switch again. In the meantime, I will be walking on unfinished floors for the next month. Not only did I have to cancel my family's Thanksgiving but it looks like Christmas and New Year's Eve are also canceled. read more

Flooring decisions for 3/4 of the house were not easy! We have been in our home for 20 years and it was time for change. We came to the Floor Store months ago and Stephanie has been amazing from day one! We shopped different stores and obtained estimates from them all. Stephanie won our business for so many reasons. She's professional, knowledgeable, kind, easy to work with and comes across genuinely interested in every project we were up to. After many returns with samples we were convinced that this is where we wanted to do business, and they weren't the most inexpensive estimate but very competitive! We feel like we got a great deal. So once we decided who we were going with it's just been a matter of timing due to the holidays. As I write this today, we are at the end of our install and have been impressed with both crews, hard flooring and carpet. We couldn't be happier with the install and the manner in which the install crews have conducted themselves. I imagine It's not easy doing what they do, moving furniture from room to room etc- but I'm so appreciative and grateful that they do! I would absolutely recommend going to the Concord location, their people are great to deal with, even when Stephanie wasn't there. Prior to beginning our search, I came to Yelp to see where we should begin shopping based on reviews. Horrible experience, go elsewhere. Probably the best way to keep this long excruciating journey short is to just hit the bullet points. 1. Despite having a "huge sale" on Coretec LVP flooring, we later had multiple companies provide non-sale quotes that beat the Floor Store quote. 2. They lied about 18 month free financing only to be told it was a mistake and it was only 12 months despite still having the 18 month poster in their windows. 3. They lied about checking for a pre-qualification for the financing that was a formality that would not actually run through our credit only to have a credit card show up in our mailbox a week later. 4. Mismeasured the dimensions of the project and made us come to the store with measurements only to be told they still had to comeback to the house to remeasure. Why did we have to waste our time coming into the store? My measurements were accurate and they would have significantly over charged us. 5. Captured multiple invoicing errors. In particular, they were charging me a quantity of 3 at $100 for the squaring of a stair. This only had to be done to one stair. When I asked about this multiple times, they provided no explaination but simply changed the invoice to now show they were charging me $300 for a quantity of one. I could do this work in 30 minutes. 6. They charge labor for material that is not being installed (waste material). These were not the only issues. Don't fall for it, go somewhere else, anywhere else. Not sure how the craftsmanship is as we gave up and went somewhere else. read more

We had our floors done with this store about 2 years ago. The whole process of selecting the carpet and the laminate was smooth and they were very helpful in offering estimates for different options such as "all carpet, all laminate or carpet and laminate." Installation was fast and done within a day. I had a baby on the way so I appreciated that. However, they install and that's it. If parts of your wall are jacked, you are left with having to fix it yourself. That was disappointing as I still have all of these eye sore areas around my stairs since I haven't had a chance to fix it as I am just now coming out of the craziness of having a newborn. One big issue was: for the past 6 months I started stepping into sharp nails and metals under the carpet. Some nails used to install the laminate were also raising to the surface so I cut myself whole waking bare-feet. I have a toddler so that made me feel uneasy. I called the floor store and they promptly sent someone to fix it. I appreciate the fast response but I still feeling at a loss as to why that would happen given than I spent way over 10 grand for this installation. Some things I learned that I wish I knew: The thickness of the carpet matters. Order the extra thick foam that goes underneath it. It is worth it. Have them inspect your house before install and have them go over with you what will be left for you to fix. I would have appreciated the heads up. Apparently the carpet we had before was thicken so our thinner carpet was not tall enough to cover the wall area that was not painted. It is an eye sore. All in all, I appreciate the fact that they promptly came to fix it. It speaks volumes to me. I attached pictures for perspective as the red tape shows you where the nails were. read more
