First and last time visiting. I ordered a bagel toasted dark with cream cheese for breakfast, and a lobster roll to-go for lunch on the beach. The bagel was lightly toasted at best, and had barely enough cream cheese to cover it. And the lobster roll was basically just a hot dog roll full of mayonnaise, with a little bit of lobster and a little bit of lettuce. read more

Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and more than enough to take home for later. Southern Eggs Benedict SO DELICIOUS. Last batch pumpkin French toast, steak burrito And the Brazilian omelette. Server was very attentive. We're looking forward to coming back. read more

Very good service with passable coffee. There were very interesting fig and crabcake specials. A worthy successor to the Mills Restaurant.

Other than the cold (due to the uns(r)easonable weather) the staff were great-thick accents and all. We are visiting the Mass area and I took my kids here, they loved their food. I am on keto diet and had the Canadian bacon and cheddar omelette with Yankee Bacon (American) on the side. Would definitely recommend them. read more

Ordered and received curbside takeout. When the waitress brought out the bag there were multiple ordered items missing. I politely went in with the receipt to alert the workers of which items were missing to retrieve. The woman( I assume the owner ) requested that I bring back in the items and bag as she "knows" the missing items were in there, insinuating I was lying. I then brought the bag back in and she realized that each of the items I stated were missing were not delivered outside. It was the quite honestly the rudest interaction I have ever encountered - won't be returning due to significantly poor customer service. read more

Love this place.... the food is excellent, and the people are even better. So glad I randomly stopped here for lunch one day. The owner is new, and she's doing it right. This place is an absolute gem read more

I have not even eaten here but after reading damians review I feel compelled to give this place a 5 star. Nobody deserves a 1 star for no reason that does not deserve it. Hopefully I'll eat here in the morning.. stay tuned.. read more

The customer service here is amazing! I had called about a week in advance to ask about reservations for my friend's bachelorette party. While they don't take reservations, the owner, Maria, said to call the day before to remind her and that she would do her best to accommodate us. I called the day before and when we walked in for brunch on Saturday, she had a table waiting for us! The food and service was great and it really meant the world that they worked so hard to accommodate us. I got the corned beef hash which was absolutely delicious! I'd come back anytime I'm in the area from now on. Highly recommend read more

Very lucky to discover this gem during a two week stay on the Cape during COVID. Besides the great breakfast dishes and baked goods, the genuinely friendly service was superb! My first visit was with my husband and 2 teens. All were very pleased enjoying waffles, omelettes and baked goods. My second visit was with an old friend who lives on the Cape. She is a foodie and couldn't decide so ordered the corned beef hash and the NY steak and eggs - loved them both. I got the Salmon Scramble, it was very tasty! Maria the owner and Reagan our server were delightful to chat with and checked in often. The place has a fun, kitschy vibe and aims to feed you great food and make you feel at home. read more

Great local brunch place with really friendly staffs! We had traditional Benny's, beacon sausage home fries and eggs, lemon ricotta pancakes with fruit, steak and eggs, blue red and white waffles. Their coffee taste better than average diners I've been, and please do upgrade to have Vermont maple syrup instead of the table syrup, you won't regret it! read more

The food and service was very good. The location has its challenges with parking and offer valet which is nice.

This killer little place on Cape Cod was really pretty delicious. It was totally cute inside and out and the service was impeccable. Our server and the other server - super friendly, attentive, and not overbearing. The people that work here are happy, and that says something. The food is also fantastic. Lobster eggs benedict, pancakes, eggs- all cooked to perfection. This is definitely a killer little breakfast spot- I gave the 5th star for service because it was that top notch. Mind you we were here just into off season so the place was not packed. The decor is modern-farm-folky and pricing is reasonable. read more

We have eaten here several times since it has been owned by a new woman originally from NY. It is a good hostess who recognizes and warmly greets repeat customers. Not here. The food is very good. However, the attitude and the service are relentlessly bad. Last week we waited for two hours to eat our breakfast; we were a party of five and when I checked in, the owner/hostess told us we would have a half hour wait. It turned into over an hour. When I went in to see what was taking so long, the owner told me that I should have told her that one in our party was a child (almost nine years old). I'm still wondering if she thought that would mean a half of a seat? The food took an inordinate amount of time to serve. There was an additional charge for one of the toast offerings that was not stated on the menu or told to us when we ordered. Two omelettes came, then after a long pause, the third came. Then came the last two meals (pancakes and avocado toast). When we complained to our waiter ( the son of the owner), the owner came to our table and invited us not to come back ("Maybe this restaurant isn't for you and you shouldn't come back"). For sure we won't. read more

Amazing breakfast! The Harvest Hash Benny was a celebration for my tastebuds. I chose to have the Hollandaise sauce on the side to get the ultimate taste of the roasted beets and sweet potatoes. The omelets were great and the apple crisp waffles sweet enough for 14 year old boys. I have only great things to say about this gem! Super service as well! read more

Great service and food! Cute little local cafe, very impressed with the experience. I would recommend!

Stopped in late Saturday morning for a Western Skillet (Absolutely Recommend) and a nice coffee. The staff was super nice and our food came out quick and ready to go. I 100% recommend stopping in for breakfast or lunch. There are plenty of healthy choices on the menu which is awesome. The Fig had a great crowd inside, with proper social distancing for Covid. The decorations inside set up for a cozy atmosphere and service was speedy and polite. If you're looking for a great breakfast, then go to The Fig Tree. -The Irish Skillet is also amazing- There is nothing better than some proper corn beef hash. read more

Visited today and I had to write and rave about their special today, eggs and creamy cheese grits! Honestly , my cousin and I both had it with toast and loads of bacon! One word yummy! Served hot & service great. Who knew you could find great grits in Marston Mills. Lol. I hope it becomes a regular option not a special. read more

It was okay, nothing spectacular food was okay service was okay maybe they were having an off day which I'm sure happens to every place but it wasn't anything special. Not planning on rushing back anytime soon read more

Varied menu. Some healthy options. However, they charged me for 'tea service' ($1.70) for my hot water and lemon. I have NEVER been charged for hot water and lemon and I order it EVERYWHERE. I questioned the waitress and the reply was, "it's what the owners do here". It is akin to charging for ice water. And this was on top of a charge of $5.50 for a side of two eggs . Would have expected more reasonableness from a local fare place. read more

One of the best breakfasts in the mid cape area. It is a little out of the way, but the quality of food is awesome. The egg white omelette is packed with goat cheese and one of the best omelettes I have eaten to date. The home fries are also very good and not too oily. The menu has a variety of everything, and will satisfy the "eats anything in front of them" football player to the picky eaters as well. read more

I felt right at home at The Mills Restaurant. We were greeted with warm genuine smiles. The coffee was hot and delicious. Our server was conscientious and unobtrusively asked if we would like more coffee throughout our lovely breakfast. Our party of six enjoyed an array of delightful tasty selections. Chef kindly accommodated one in our party who is gluten-free AND dairy-free. Not to be missed: chocolate croissants, seasonal donuts, eggs Benedict, skillets and apple crisp French toast. The multi-variety mushroom omelette was OUTSTANDING. To the staff at The Mills Restaurant, "BRAVO!" read more

I have gone there many many times BUT today I went, ordered an omelette with a side of fruit and coffee .... my last bite of the omelet had a metal staple in it. Thank god I spit it out ! The OWNER NEVER came over to the table to apologize.... the waitress took my omelette off the check but charged me for the coffee an fruit! NOT NICE! read more

This is the best breakfast joint on the Cape, and by far the friendliest staff. Out of all of the places we've eaten breakfast, this restaurant has the best cold brew coffee, buttermilk pancakes, corned beef hash (an absolute must order), hash browns (try them smothered with cheese) and egg sandwiches I've discovered yet. It is by no means the closest breakfast venue, but after eating at The Mills I will not be going anywhere else for a big breakfast! read more

Breakfast is fantastic! Got there at 10 am on thurs and seated right away. Waitress greeted us with coffee and took orders. All the staff are pleasant and they smile at us. The young hostess at the front was lovely. Wow! What a difference from Percy's! (See my review on Percy's and you will never want to go there- my bf and I definitely won't) The lobster egg Benedict and the lobster omlet were wonderful. They came out quickly and it was just what we wanted. I can't wait to come back to try the cheesecake pancakes. The waitress told us there are little pieces of cheesecake in the pancakes - like little pieces of heaven I would guess! Yes please! read more

Great find mid-Cape! Veggie burgers are great, potatoes as hash browns or in potato salad really fine. Excellent coffee. All wrapped up in a welcoming and very neat restaurant. Don't miss it! read more

As a life long resident of Marstons Mills, The Mills had a stigma for being a dirty, dive to grab breakfast. But after new ownership and a facelift, they are pumping out some delicious special items along with the standard eggs and toast, cooked just the way you like. The dining room looks and feels like going home, the staff is all smiles and they love to converse between themselves and the regulars. They serve endless Beanstock coffee and never let you see the white on the bottom of your mug. If you are still wary of The Mills of the past, have no fear. This is a whole new restaurant, the only thing it shares with the old regime is the locale. read more

I have been coming to this restaurant for breakfast for years and figured it was time to let the cat out of the bag for the other yelpers out there. Breakfast is homemade and the mix from creative to classic is on point. Can't go wrong with eggs, pancakes, waffles, and health conscious items as well. Staff is very friendly, atmosphere is warm, and food is fantastic. Give it a try' read more

Cute place but the tables are close together so it feels crowded. Staff was nice. Food was ok.

I was excited to try the Fig Tree Cafe and while my sandwich was very tasty it was not what I ordered. This was a good lesson for me in checking my takeout before I walk away. I ordered and paid for their Cali BLT(avocado, bacon, lettuce, tomato and herb mayo), what I received was a regular BLT with regular mayo. I tried calling multiple times and got the busy signal, I even walked down there to talk to someone in person but the line was out the door( which is great especially during these times). I finally got through on the telephone a hour later and explained my issue and I got an "I'm sorry that sandwich definitely should of had avocado on it" and when I asked about the mayo she asked someone in the kitchen and they told her they were out but they would be getting it in again soon. So needless to say I will be checking my takeout orders BEFORE I leave from now on. read more

Our first visit to the cape, we stopped in here to get an early start to the day. Not only was the service fantastic, but so was the food! Everything tastes fresh and delicious, particularly the crab and asparagus quiche. I enjoyed my corned beef hash but felt it could have used some more flavor, particularly because the over easy eggs didn't have much flavor either. All in all, a good breakfast (unlimited coffee refills!) but nothing I got too excited about read more

If you love homefries, DON'T get them here. Awful, brown potatoes, dry to the bone and covered in some seasoning I can't even describe. However, the main meals are pretty tasty. They do an apple crisp French toast. They even offer honey vs. syrup. So, I would go back. Just have to substitute for the homefries. read more

This place was incredible. We waited 10 minutes for a table because the place was packed, but the food came out at a good pace. The coffee here was also really good, and constantly refilled. I had the lobster omelet, which was fantastic. The entire omelet had excellent flavor and was perfectly cooked, without overcooking the lobster. If I had any complaint, it was that the home fries were a bit boring- just potato with not a lot of spices- but I'm happy to overlook that. My wife had the sausage, and it was fantastic. This place is just really great. read more

Small, clean, very friendly... AMAZING menu (ie grilled cheese with lobster, ricotta pancakes) as well as wonderful standard fare (french toast, omelettes, bacon and eggs) All the meals we had in our two visits were delicious. Even took home some stuffed quahogs for later; marvelous. We didn't like that there is an upcharge for real over "table" maple syrup, but it is understandable. We also did not like any of the bakery items we tried (cookies, apple crisp) but that was minor when finding a gem to enjoy for a good meal. read more

At breakfast, waitress dropped water glass on table which went over food onto the laps of two patrons. Embarrassing event in which manager sluffed off with "accidents happen", but no amends. The food arrived piecemeal so the table of four ate their food at different times. The food was just ok, but over priced. Comment on false rebuttal. The water did spill onto both Mrs B's lap and mine so that was wrong. The French toast arrived long after most of the eggs benedict were consumed. And finally, my opinion is that the ok food was overpriced. read more

Ate breakfast here the other day, was unbelievable !!! Inside is real small, but had the old style country feel to it. Staff was incredibly friendly. Both my wife and I had the lobster eggs Benadict with asparagus. Came with a side of home fries as well. Lobster was fresh and tasty, the entire dish was great. I found out that they make their own corned beef hash so I had to try it. I can easily say that this was the best hash I've ever had !!! Orange juice was fresh squeezed as well. Over all this place was amazing. This is on my "must do's" list if we ever come back to this area again read more
