The food here is fabulous. The cinnamon French toast really tastes like cinnamon (as opposed to the egg taste I usually associate with French toast). The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful- two was definitely enough but the third is only $1 more. They put chocolate chips into the batter but also on top for maximum chocolateyness. They told us it would take about 20 minutes to get a table for 2 which makes sense on a Sunday morning in the summer, and it was a pretty accurate estimate. It took a while to get the food, about 35 minutes from when we ordered. The wait to get on the waitlist was interesting because I think the checkout computer for the bakery is also where waiters and waitresses have to put in orders, verbally with whoever is there. There was a line of us waiting to put our names down/check in while a waitress had to read out three tables' orders to be entered on the tablet. We'd been done eating for about 10 minutes and sat waiting for the check, unsure if we were supposed to checkout at the computer or if they'd bring a check. We flagged down our waitress to ask and she told us we could pay at the counter (glad we asked!) We had what I'd consider the best table in the house: a corner two-top! I didn't feel cramped or overwhelmed but I think I might have at a lot of the other tables here. They make the most of their space but I can see where it could be a little claustrophobic. All in all, it's not a quick stop per se but the food is great and we love supporting small businesses!

We met up with friends at The Fig Tree for breakfast on Sunday last. It's a cute little place with a charm all its own. Very busy on weekends, in fact all the time, but they have their system and it works well. We were seated very quickly and the service was friendly and prompt. I don't comment on companion's meals unless I taste them so I'll just report that my Bruschetta Avocado Toast on multigrain toast with marinated tomatoes, two eggs and a balsamic drizzle with home fried potatoes was just delicious. Every component worked well with everything else on my plate. I've eaten here several times and I must say I've NEVER been disappointed. I'm including photos from other times I've been as well.

This was such a cute spot during my family's little cape cod trip over the summer. The service was kind and we all got our meals quickly. The food was amazing and I would most definitely come back here next year!

The best organic omelet on Cape! You can order speciality cakes and pies too! Awesome environment with artifacts from all over Cape. The staff is quick and helpful with your order. They allow both call in orders and online. Super friendly establishment.

We live right down the street from the Fig Tree, so it's somewhere we've enjoyed multiple times before. It's very small inside, but we were only a party of two and were seated immediately. It took a few minutes before we were greeted and had our order taken. I finished my coffee within the first few minutes of receiving it (#momlife), but after about 15 minutes of waiting for a refill, had to flag someone down. Our food was brought out in the next couple minutes. I usually enjoy the FTC's eggs benedict - a meal I can't be bothered to spend time making myself, and one I have enjoyed there in the past. So that's what I ordered this time, and decided to spoil myself by subbing the included home fries, with the shredded hash browns that boasted nice caramelized veggies, for an upcharge. The shredded hash browns arrived looking quite underwhelming. Being the part of the dish I was most looking forward to trying, that's where I took my first bite. They were as dry and flavorless as they appeared, unfortunately. The peppers could be identified as little red specks, and I assume the blackened specks I encountered here and there when cutting into it, were the caramelized onions. Onto the benny. Beautiful and perfectly cooked. Mostly delicious. However, the hollandaise sauce had an overwhelming lemon flavor, which is not something I've encountered before. Picture your eggs being topped with the innards of a lemon bar. I ended up scraping the sauce off. Finished the eggs, but the hash browns were inedible. We were only checked on once towards the end of our meal, even though the restaurant was emptying and the servers were all hovering behind the counter. I politely expressed my thoughts on the hash browns, and received an understanding apology from the waiter. At a $5 upcharge, and left untouched on my plate, I expected them to be removed from the bill. However, they were not. We paid and left without further incident -- however, this probably will not be a restaurant we revisit in the near future. It's difficult to trust a dining experience when your favorite items are great one time, but unpalatable the next. Live and learn!

Gratuity was included, but our service was so wonderful, we tipped on top of the tip. The turkey salad sandwich was the table favorite, and we were delighted to learn its on their regular menu! Guess we will be taking out a sandwich or two in the future... IF we can bypass buying one of their AMAZING SEAFOOD PIES in luscious sherry sauce and exploding with scallops, shrimp, fish... but I digresss. We were here for ME day (ok, so I DID take a pie on my way out...). $65 bought you 3 sandwiches, one of which was less than petite and oh so delicious with its home made pesto and brioche bun. The baby cranberry orange American scones were delicious and light (a light scone, right? Crazy), mini blueberry muffins, 3 lovely pastries and a croissant. Also included was champagne (or mimosa) and a cordial shot for your tea. It was all wonderful. Now, I'd take away a star for the young and weird counter staff. Seemed like either high school girls or early college - not really well trained (they didn't know much about anything, and were mostly confused and more interested in talking among each other)... I picked up a bag of croutons and it had a hole in it... their "fix" was to pour it into another bag! (GASP! REALLY? I hate to say this but it was a Legally Blonde moment). Thank goodness an "adult" or more mature professional stepped in and asked if I'd like a new bag... DUH, YES, RIGHT ANSWER. So the croutons and one of those evil seafood pies made it home for mom. I think the girls just need training (and some growing up to do - they weren't unpleasant, just... immature). All in all this place is beautiful, their offerings are wonderful and for the most part, the staff is great. Now that I'm here from my beloved Hudson (ok, I'm still mourning my Hudson town and former home), I expect to make Amie one of my favorite stops. OH, did I mention their coffee is also great? Time to think about one of their classes or other fancy pants-y events. Because it is "kinda" snooty with a down to earth feeling of "they LOVE what they do and do it exceedingly well".

I ordered four "sangwiches"--pork and rabe, chicken cutlet and rabe, and Italian hoagies--and every single one was outstanding. In fact, Nana's immediately became one of my "must-stop" places every time I came to the Cape. Sadly, that was not my recent experience. Before writing this review, I tried contacting Nana's twice through their website and also reached out through Facebook and Instagram. After waiting two weeks without a single response, I'm reluctantly posting this instead. On my latest visit, I stopped in between breakfast and lunch, figuring I'd picked the perfect time. There were only three customers in the restaurant. I stood at the sandwich counter for nearly 20 minutes while the sandwich crew and what appeared to be a manager carried on a conversation. I was standing directly in front of them, yet no one acknowledged me. Just as I was about to walk out, their meeting ended and someone finally took my order. I was disappointed to hear there was no pork and rabe available, so I ordered a chicken cutlet and rabe sandwich along with Italian hoagies. I specifically discussed the long hot peppers with the cashier because they were one of the things I loved most about my previous visit. I didn't mind waiting because I could see the cutlets being fried fresh and the broccoli rabe being heated. Fresh food done right is worth waiting for. Unfortunately, the sandwiches were nothing like I remembered. The chicken cutlet was perfectly fried, but everything else fell flat. The broccoli rabe was long, stringy, and difficult to chew. After one bite, the entire pile of rabe pulled out of the sandwich in one piece. That also let me taste it by itself--and it tasted like...water. No garlic. No olive oil. None of the slight bitterness that good broccoli rabe should have. Just bland. The bread was another huge disappointment. Instead of the crusty Italian bread I remembered, it was served on a soft, doughy roll that completely changed the sandwich. And despite specifically requesting the long hot peppers, there weren't any. No peppers. No seasoning. Just a fried cutlet and flavorless greens on dry bread. It was a waste of what could have been an excellent sandwich. Then came the Italian hoagie. It was honestly one of the most disappointing Italian sandwiches I've ever had. Again, it came on the same soft hoagie roll. There was a light smear of dressing, the cold cuts, and two paper-thin slices of tomato. No lettuce. No onions. No hot peppers. Barely any dressing. Nothing that makes an authentic Italian hoagie memorable. I honestly think I've had better Italian sandwiches from Subway. I kept hoping this was simply the result of summer help, inexperienced staff, or just an off day. But after making multiple attempts to contact management and never receiving a response, I'm left wondering if Nana's has changed owners, if quality standards have slipped, or if customer feedback simply isn't important anymore. It's genuinely disappointing because I know how good Nana's used to be. That's what makes this review so difficult to write. You earned a loyal customer once. If you ever return to making the sandwiches you were serving in 2025--with authentic bread, properly seasoned ingredients, careful attention to orders, and the quality that first impressed me--I'd gladly come back. Until then, I can't honestly recommend Nana's as an authentic Italian-American sandwich shop. Right now, it feels more like an average American sandwich shop charging premium prices. Thank you for the wonderful sandwiches you once made. I sincerely hope you find your way back to them.

Our daughter has severe dairy and egg allergies, so finding delicious food that was safe for her--and enjoyable for all of our guests--was a top priority. Everything exceeded our expectations. The wraps were absolutely delicious, and we especially appreciated that they thoughtfully prepared five dairy- and egg-free wraps for our daughter. The red potato salad with green beans was outstanding and paired perfectly with the lemon chicken, which was excellent served at room temperature.
