We elected inside, since it was so hot and humid out. We had a nice table, in the corner, by the window, that was lovely. Our server came over shortly after we were seated, and brought us waters. We also received bread fairly quickly, it was warm, with a good sized bottle of olive oil to then dip it in - yum! We ordered the gyro as a plate, and you can pick your protein - we both wanted the lamb, but unfortunately they were out. So we both went with the pork instead. You get to pick your side, I went with the Greek salad to start, which was decent sized for a side salad. The gyro plate was really good - generous portion of pork, lettuce, tomato, onion, slices of pita bread, a few French fries, and tzatziki. The food was delicious, and generously portioned, I brought most of my pita bread home. We will absolutely be back to explore more of the menu!

Probably about month and a half ago I got there my first Italian sub which was delicious and very quick. Two weeks ago I went back with my 13 months old. Not only they still don't have high chairs and had to keep my son on my lap while was waiting forever for mozzarella sticks but after 25 min I finally got them only to get them icy cold inside. My Italian was not as good as before, roll was toasted to the extreme and smelled like charcoal, meats seems to be just thrown in a rush on a roll.. very disappointing. Not planning to go back there. A tomato restaurant atmosphere was fantastic and there was a singing guitar player. We had a fantastic server named Sydney. We had a problem with one of the four meals. My wife ( Italian descent) ordered the chicken cacciatore with the pretense that the sauce was going be a standard red Italian sauce. But when her mail came out. It was an overly spicy " brown colored" sauce. My wife wasn't happy and she barely touched her meal. Totally ruin her night. I told her to order another meal, but she was in a bad mood at that point and didn't want to eat anymore. I told her to send it back, but she said forget it. I took the chicken cacciatore home and I ate it the next night. I have to say being in half Italian myself the chicken cacciatore sauce is terrible.( way too spicy, saturated with hot pepper Why wasn't it made with a standard red sauce? Is that brown sauce recipe the standard sauce uses for chicken cacciatore? I wondering if that night did Tomatoes have a stand-in short order cook preparing a chicken cacciatore meals. I think in the future , servers need to tell future customers who might order the chicken cacciatore meal that is not nade with standard Italian red sauce to avoid future customer disappointments.
