We used to order from the one in Sandwich, always had great food & service with a smile. This place is very clean, smells delicious but the help doesnt seem to be happy- been the same for the past 3 times. The food is okay, I really wish they offered GF pizza but the Family says the pizza is always good. Salads are okay, more lettuce than other things. Tuna is very salty. Let me start by saying I have been going to PBE since they've opened their doors. Until my last trip when I ordered just a couple side cups of taziki sauce ( which is awesome btw) and some pita bread to go, which I have ordered numerous times on occasion with no issues. The last time I went in to order this I was asked by the owner ( who has sold me the sides numerous times) if I was "Greek" I replied "no but I love taziki", she replied " well I'm not selling these to you anymore then" "I don't know who sold it like this before but no more"!! I wonder if I were "Greek" would I still get my fantastic taziki? Even my young daughter said " wow she's feisty" lol.. Honestly their food isn't good enough to deal with that kind of bull shit that's for sure!! I love Pizza by Evan. I could live off the Tuna Sub toasted with onions and provolone cheese. If I have had the tuna sub too many times in one week I go with the onion pizza or the steak and cheese calzone(with peppercorn parm dressing). Pizzas have the perfect ratio of cheese, sauce and delicious crust (only pizza I eat the crust with). The key to the pizza is to let it cool just enough to let the cheese solidify. I've been going here for about 15 years now, probably around when it opened. Only con, when the family goes on vacation for a week or two in the winter I have to stock my freezer with pizzas and calzones so I don't get withdrawals. read more

Drove in to what appeared to be an abandoned outlet store. Beautiful location but no business to far off the street and poorly advertised. Walked in and place was empty finally woke up the old person who was asleep on his feet behind the soda machines. Took me three minutes to wake him. Would have left but didn't feel like McDonalds was on my lunch break. When I finally did get my sub it was ok at best. Stopped going here few years back because there's better food at MUCH better prices. Decided to go here the other day, got a chicken fajita sub, now I don't like a bunch of stuff on it, So I get it just with lettuce, there was hardly any meat in it, all there was was bread and lettuce, the little bit of chicken that was in there was good don't get me wrong but cmon put some damn meat in there or charge half the price. Worst costumer service ever. Had to wait 2 hours for a simple delivery and every time I called I was given an excuse then hung up on.

All I have to say is, GET THE FRENCH FRIES! Hands down by far one of the best fries in the area! We usually get the turkey club sub and cheeseburger sub and it's consistently delicious every time we order! When we get delivery, the delivery man always brings additional treats for our dog, which makes him a big fan of Pizza by Evan's too! First thing that caught my attention is that the place was empty on a Friday around 5pm. Though there was much seating and many menu options, I can't say I was overly impressed with my first visit. We ordered garlic bread, a small barbecue chicken and a couple Michelob Ultras (the beer menu was far from exciting). We started with the garlic bread which I found to be sub par, so we asked for a cup of marinara to add a bit of flavor. Timing was good and the pizza arrived not long after but was nothing to write home about for a barbecue chicken, especially for the price. I was staying in the area so we decided to try a pizza here. We ordered the Greek pizza with sliced tomatoes, olives, spinach and feta. We ordered the large. When we got it we couldn't believe how small it was for $16. Got it home opened the box only to be further disappointed. The crust was like a frozen pizza flat with little flavor. The olives were like Lindsey olives right out of the can. The tomatoes were so thin and barely ripe. I have never written a review for yelp but I had to express my disappointment that this restaurant was rated with 4 stars. Are you kidding me? The food here is average at best. Overcooked, undercooked... you never really know what to expect. The staff makes you feel like they are doing you a favor by taking your order. I had one instance when an employee was extremely rude to me in front of other customers. It was one of those times when someone says something rude and you don't even realize until you're walking out to your car. I have a friend who had a similar experience. They seem to be fairly busy though, at least because I see their delivery drivers racing up and down my street like its the grand prix. Don't waste your time here. read more
