I heard so much about this place and their roast beef, I finally took a chance and stopped. A friendly worker met me at the door decorating for Christmas. A young man, I assume who was the owner, came up to the counter and waited on me. I asked him if I could just get roast beef, and he said sure and asked me what size. I said medium. I took it home and made a salad to put it on. I was pleasantly surprised with the quantity and the quality of the roast beef. It was delicious. I can't wait to go back there. Tonight I ordered on DoorDash. My food was delivered after 45 minutes and I was delivered the wrong order, with the wrong name and items. My driver came back and took the incorrect meal and told me to call DoorDash. DoorDash opened a case and said they could attempt to refund me in 2-3 hours. I then called Pizza Boy and the staff said they had my order still so I drove out. When I got there, the staff told me they'd throw in fresh food to make up for the driver's blunder. Here is my updated rating and review. On my last visit, I found the Roast Beef tasty but too dry and I didn't like the available sauce. This time my wife had the roast beef, which was still dry (she had to go back for more sauce), and I got the pastrami. I found the pastrami unusually salty and dripping with grease. The onion rings were really good, but not good enough for me to want to go back. If I do go back, I'll try a calzone. read more

Called Pizza boy in Wareham at 8:40 PM tonight to order five roast beef subs. I was told they couldn't make them because they close at 9 PM. Thinking I heard him incorrectly I asked "you're closing in 20 minutes so you can't make any food?" he said, "well you can have pizza".They must do an incredible business to turn down an order for $60 worth of cold sandwiches 20 minutes prior to closing. read more

After trying for about 30 minutes to decide where in the area I should eat I settled on Pizza Boy. Honestly what I wanted was slices. Apparently that only happens during lunch time. After surveying the menu I settle on a Regular Pastrami. They're claim to game seems to be the Roast Beef but I usually go outside if the box when I go somewhere the first time cause I want to see if they're really as good as they seem. Unfortunately I don't think they are. Bread was generic. Pastrami was not thinly sliced. Extremely fatty. Sandwich was not assembled well. The atmosphere is good and clean and the kitchen seems newer. The staff are friendly. I would eat here again over just about any other place in this area. Newish, upper scale sub/pizza joint. Super modern, state of the art (as the brochure states) kitchen, very clean and professional looking. I honestly didn't care for the pizza much (Greek style) but their subs and dinners are great, huge and a bargain. Most large subs are around $6 and weigh more than my head. A good stop for lunch in Wareham, the place is actually huge inside though you would never know it outside. We had a couple of chicken pieces one hot and one not. They were well prepared, but a shade less than perfection for simple recipes and the price was a good deal higher than expected, especially for a Wareham spot. I been coming here for 5 years and I cannot say how disappointed I was today 1st thing they raised the prices for their mediocre food, I payed $22.49 for a 2 item calzone that was over cooked! Not overly large or even good this was not worth the money. The food is fair at best and not worth the price with much better options in Wareham and Onset. They lost a good customer today and nobody seemed to care, that's probably why the place was empty! read more

This is one of my favorite local pizza joints. Great food, cheap prices. It's a win-win. The menu includes appetizers like jumbo chicken wings or tenders, tossed in your choice of sauce, french fries (either plain or with cheese and/or bacon), sweet potato fries, jalapeno poppers, onion rings, bread sticks, and more. Aside from that, they offer salad, pasta, dinner plates, subs and wraps, calzones, and of course, pizza. Also, Yelp doesn't say it, but the full name of the restaurant is, "Pizza Boy Roast Beef & More", so one of their signature items is their roast beef sandwiches. Drinks include Pepsi soda products (bottles from the cooler), available in either 20 oz or 2 liter sizes. Water, iced tea, Gatorade (or maybe it's Powerade?). Pizzas are "Italian-Style Thin Crust", and come in 2 sizes, "medium" or "XL". A "medium" pizza measures 14 inches and costs $9,99 and the XL measures 18 inches and costs $14,99. Those prices are for plain cheese. If you want to add a topping to a medium pizza, it costs $1.99 and on an XL it goes up to $2.79. You can also select one of their specialty pizzas. Pizzas, subs and dinners are at least enough food for two servings (for most people I know). You can also order giant slices of pizza (either cheese or pepperoni) during lunch hours. They don't let you add toppings to them like some places I know, though. Be aware, you need a lot of room in your fridge if you have leftovers from the 18 inch XL pizza. Prices are fair for the amount of food you get (That giant slice of pizza, and a cooler drink costs you under $5). Staff are always friendly, and lunch service is relatively quick. You can eat in, carry out, or have your food delivered. I've never seen the place incredibly crowded inside. I think they do mostly take-out and delivery business, but there are a few tables, and a counter to sit at. Be aware, the menu may be out of date. I have asked for a number of items off the menu only to be told, "No, sorry, We no longer carry that." Then why is it still on the giant menu board? Just saying. Honestly I don't understand what the rave is all about for their roast beef sandwiches. We made a point to stop and get some after reading all the Yelps about them and were left scratching our heads.
