Staff was pleasant and place was pretty busy for 1150. Online ordering was great you could even order your pizza laced, which of course I did. First time back at TPL since moving to South Carolina, and it has not changed one bit! Which is a good thing! Busy Saturday night but bar service was available and quickly got my group some drinks and food. This place is the worst stop I have ever made in my life. I waited one hour for the worst pizza I have ever had in my life. I am not kidding when I say this pizza is worse than a hockey rink pizza. First time since I was in the neighborhood. A colleague recommended TPL. Sat at the bar and ordered take out. Bartender was very friendly and service was excellent. Ordered the "heavy hitter" & a buffalo chicken pizza (laced of course), as well as some wings. Everything was delicious and fresh. Surprised at the negative reviews. The bar, as well as the entire place was very busy, and the patrons looked happy. Fun vibe. We live on the outer Cape but when I am in the area I will make sure to stop at TPL and feast on their exceptional pizza and wings. Always a treat to find some amazing bar pizza! read more

As far as bar pizza goes. It's horrible. Been 3 times and it just gets worse and worse. Like who would ever serve someone a completely burnt pizza???? Crispy slightly burnt edges, that's fine. But when the cheese and toppings are black burnt to a crisp and the waitress doesn't care. If you're looking for good bar pizza, this isn't it. TPL is a frontrunner for the best bar pizza in the south shore. Now I know that is a bold statement but briefly hear me out. We have been to at least 25 bar pizza places throughout the area. I have been to TPL twice and they are consistently good. They have the real pepperoni's that curl up into little cups! That's the real stuff right there. We order the pizzas laced and well done. They are cooked perfectly. Great ratio of sauce to cheese. Great flavor. They are just doing bar pizza right! Now- Buffalo sauce can be too much for me. But at TPL they mix their buffalo with a little honey and it cuts down the buffalo kick I don't want. They are delicious! This past weekend we tried their salt and pepper wings. Very flavorful but their buffalo is the win here. Their logo is freakin awesome- the melted pizza in a martini glass! $30 t-shirts but they need sweatshirts! It's right at the entrance of Cape Cod so you don't have to go all the way in to get this pizza. They have their own parking areas. They have a small bar and a small restaurant with some outdoor seating (I mean it is Cape Cod!) Always nice staff (I mean why not?!) This place is where its at. read more

It was no surprise to me that this pizza is amazing, I have been following them on Instagram for so long, but never have a convenient excuse to be in the area during business hours. Sooo glad we finally were able to stop in!! The place was packed, again so no surprise, but we loved the vibe and everyone seemed to be in great spirits, having fun, watching sports on the TV's. Trading Post is a cool little bar located in what I think is the center of town on the cape side of Bourne. They make an excellent bar pie there, it has everything you come to want and expect from the style. Tangy cheese goodness encircle by crispy laced crust. The staff there is super friendly. There is a great bar for drinks , a small dining room and also a takeout booth to make pick up easy. ! When I was in there last I was really happy to hear them playing a lot of great classic punk rock and alternative which took me by surprise being a small town bar. A bar, a bench like high top area that can seat 6-8 and still feel like you're at the bar, and then a seating area for families. Great drinks, cold beer, quality bar food. How can you go wrong. I absolutely love this place. My mate and I went on a quest to find the best SSBP and we agreed that TPL is the GOAT. If I had to offer a criticism, it would be that their plain cheese pizza is pretty "mid." It's kind of weird because, for a lot of other pizza places, the plain cheese is the best thing they offer. The TPL pizzas like the Heavy Hitter are way, way better than the plain cheese. So, it's still the GOAT for me but, if you're the kind of person who only eats plain cheese pizza, I'd recommend Spa or Lynwood instead. read more

Stopped in around 2pm on a Wednesday. Laid back vibe. Locals kabbitzing around the bar about this and that. Friendly bartender. Got a Tito's and soda and a pepperoni bar pie. Pie was fantastic!!! Menu is limited, but everyone seems to love everything on it. Drink was okay - they use the short wide glasses. Switched it up to Lunch IPA on tap. I was really looking forward to being a regular here but unfortunately they have an incredibly rude manager who ruins the vibe. Unfortunately the menu got smaller and prices on pitchers of beer went up but you gotta pay for the remodel some way....the addition of SS bar style pizza is a big hit. Had the double smash burger and was very good, took of the fresh dill pickles which I don't care for. The menu is limited and that is the only type of burger offered. Wife had the chicken wings and said they were good. The fries were the thin ones and were crispy and dark, they were really good. Pizza looked like the typical small bar pizza that I heard is great.. Came in late afternoon and was busy, found an open table which the sign said to do. Typical bar type entrance but tables were there making it somewhat a family type atmosphere. There was soundproofing on the ceiling which helped a lot. We were met quickly by a courteous waitress and food service was good and prices were reasonable.
