When I was in college, this place definitely had a cult following. You know it's real when people would prefer to go to Marylou's over Dunkin'. My friends and I decided to stop by this location on our way back to Boston from the Cape. The drive-thru was really convenient, especially since we were trying to beat the traffic. The vibes were really fun with pink accents at the pickup area. All the drinks were delicious, as expected. I especially enjoyed my Iced Chai, which had the perfect levels of spice and sweetness. My friends also liked their coffee drinks, especially with all the funky flavor options. The drinks were of a decent size and didn't have an overwhelming amount of ice. Great place to stop by if you're looking for something a bit different to kickstart your morning!

Marylou's is our favorite coffee on the Cape - we can't find anything like it back home! They specialize in flavored iced coffees (kind of like Dunkin but 100x better). This location is drive-thru only so be prepared. Not recommended if you don't know what they're about, you might need to just pick a flavor and go for it. We ALWAYS order the PB Wonderful iced coffee with cream. It's amazing I still dream about it. We make a point to stop at Marylou's whenever we're nearby!

Inside the Shell gas station mainland side of the canal. Having never been to a Mary Lou's before, I don't really have anything to compare it to - so not sure if my "complaints" are ubiquitous to this location or if they are chain wide problems. They keep their coffee in those pump thermos carafes. So the coffee isn't hot. The donuts are self serve. And that is gross.

The staff here are always very kind, and they do their jobs well. I live nearby, so I stop in often, and I love the iced coffees.

Yelp led me to the Snowy Owl, which a cute cafe in a converted auto service station. It's got some comfortable seating inside and out, and immediately gives off welcoming vibes. While we were looking for something to go, I got the feeling some folks sit here for hours. Something about the unique space had me craving a unique drink - not my usual black coffee. Their house made cherry cola espresso piqued my curiosity. It tasted just like it sounds - a double shot of slightly bitter espresso mixed with not-too-sweet carbonated cola. I would have like more cherry syrup sweetness, but it was an interesting choice that I was glad to experience. The friendly service, variety of drinks, and chill vibes are good reasons to return.

Snowy Owl Cafe & Roastery was on the way and its cute vibe had me from the exterior - Was this a service garage in a past life?! We were greeted by several friendly staff and the atmosphere made me want to sit down for an hour and pretend I was young and hip. I ordered a half-caff Americano with a splash of oat milk. As a Starbucks drinker, it was not as strong as a Starbucks Americano but had a nice flavor and was bolder than many others. There were food options on the menu but we'd just had lunch, so didn't get to sample them. I would definitely return!

When you walk in, you're not even ready to walk into another world. Very islandy, tropical and fresh! It instantly sets the tone for whatever you're about to order. At first glance, the menu is a bit overwhelming on the chalk board and it is a bit much to even know what to order especially if you've never been here before but once you figure out what you want, it's all a breeze from there. The pretty girls at The Blended Berry take your order, submit it and the rest of the girls get to work on building you a delicious, aesthetic and fresh bowl of your dreams. We didn't even ask what size they were and just ordered up. I got the magic dragon pitaya bowl and my hubby got the peanut berry protein açaí bowl. They were both incredible and delicious on their own! I will say, what stole the show was their fresh peanut butter coating the whole bowl, I'm still hating on it and should've totally ordered some on the side but also to go! These bowls were not just pretty, they were delicious healthy and filling. They had the right amount of toppings to smoothie and were the perfect bite every single time. I'm super obsessed with the two of them and we kept sharing each other's bowls of how delicious they both were. I'm sure their juices and smoothies are also as delicious and if you want some extra little goodies be sure to check out their protein balls in the fridge. I'm not one of those people to "complain" about the bathrooms in a review because seriously who cares, I'm there for the food. But thissssssss might be the one time I do. It was pretty terrible but I'm sure it was a one off. Either way, smoothie bowls here are what count and are absolutely delicious!
