I rarely give 5 stars but Hole in One deserves it…read more What a find. We went to the other location yesterday and saw this one today so went in. Queer o meter a high five-ing 10! Most excellent. The staff is pleasant, mixed with attentiveness and sprinkled with perfection. The food is 100% what you are hoping it will be and that is glorious. Ham steak, topped with 2 perfectly done over hard eggs on a toasted bagel that's not a thomas'. Choices of cheeses and a great cup of joe. The two by two had 2 of the best pancakes I've had in forever. So golden brown, served hot so the butter melted and they were SO FLUFFY and light that the syrup absorbed nicely for bliss in every bite. The only complaint was I wished I ordered bananas in them ha ha which isn't a complaint it's my desire to be gluttonous. They were even kind enough to get us a specialty coffee from the other side - a highly specific americano (2 shots decaf, 2 shots reg, 2 pumps caramel with room left for cream - please). My wife knows what she likes and this was it. She said it was delicious and one of the best she's had. Me? Like I said cup of diner Joe. It was rich hot and hit the spot. Thank you Hole in One for 2 great meals. Your staff seems very happy and to me that says a lot about the people you work for. Keep it up it's working. Cheers!

And I walked in, didn't know what to get, it was pretty busy, so I had some time to think! I got a chocolate glazed, and these donuts are WAY bigger than Dunkin's because they keep shrinking their donuts. And the workers are kind! And we got free samples! And it smells good in there! I do recommend it! I'm coming back!

Wonderfully helped by Dez who got my one pound bag of the Nauset Blend freshly ground to take back home with me. The Nauset Blend is a light coffee and my favorite for breakfast, or just about any time. While at the Roastery, I looked at their various merch. They've got it all: from stickers, to shirts, to ceramic pour over cups, Beanstock logo mugs, Runamok syrups, and even cute coffee bean earrings. I was also able to taste one of their other coffee flavors, as they offer two complimentary coffees to try that were freshly brewed. The one that I flavored was the Honduran Marcala Organic, which I enjoyed very much. The other flavor of the day was the Dark Secret Organic. If you're on the Cape, and not far from Eastham, I highly recommend the Beanstock Roastery as a stop! They also offer local pick-up ordering. Size of coffee bags available for purchase are 12 oz and 1 pound bags. I'm just kicking myself for not knowing they were here all along. So grateful to have my freshly brewed Nauset Blend now at home.

Apparently, the owner wanted to re-focus on that part of the business. *shrug* I used to come here around opening and see a lengthy line. The croissants are some of the best in the area. The plain croissant is flaky and light. The ham & cheese croissant is more of a croque monsieur and it's a pretty substantial offering, full of cheese, ham, and béchamel sauce. The individual tarts (lemon, raspberry, etc.) and cakes are beautifully designed and are appropriately sweet. The tart crusts were legit. I'll miss coming here for pastries/desserts. Maybe I'll try the bistro when it opens, but now I've found a new spot on the Cape for French patisserie and viennoiserie items.

We are a non-profit organization staffed completely by volunteers. Concerts are held twice each month throughout the year. First Encounter provides a rare opportunity to listen to a variety of fine music in a smoke and alcohol free environment. We offer home-baked treats and hot and cold beverages. Children are welcome and admitted free, so it's a great place to go as a family. Here at our website you can find a schedule of our upcoming concerts, information on mailings and memberships and directions so you can find us." this place is famous, seriously it has had some big names in blues and folk. Its very cheap considering that you will get TWO shows in a row. the building is beautiful with amazing stain glass windows. the acoustics of the room are wonderful for music, amplifying it and holding the sound to perfection. Its intimate, and inviting; the perfect date place. The signers often involve you in the music and have you sing along. It will fill up fast, because this is where the locals go for music on cape cod. Id recommend for bigger shows showing up 20 min ahead of time. Of course they will fit you in, as you can always stand. visit website http://www.firstencounter.org/ for info and to see if there is a concert
