When we arrived there were about 4 tables and a couple ahead of us. The co-owner (daughter) was the hostess, waitress, server, busser, and cashier. I don't know how she does it!! We both ordered coffee and it was delicious! I ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of the root vegetable hash and my son ordered the buttermilk pancakes with a side of bacon. My Benedict was very good. The hash was actually the root vegetables in full size, so it threw me off a bit thinking it would be small vegetables all mixed together. That being said, I did like it. Visited on a Friday morning a few weeks back. Food was adequate. Nothing to write home about but nothing to disparage either. It was beautiful to look at but seemed to be plated on plates that were a bit too small as it was quite difficult to cut up our breakfast without pushing it into the table . The service was non existent. We were seated quickly but once the coffee was poured and food served we never saw the server again. No refill on the coffee. Big fan of a decent espresso! Great coffee drinks and strong to boot. Excellent bakery croissants with ham and cheese or spinach. I can't wait to try the full breakfast though the portions seem a bit small and menu somewhat limited. Just a hop skip and a jump from Nauset Beach, I am a local and visited with my daughter. We were excited for the new coffee flights. We had a late breakfast of french toast and eggs benedict. It was absolutely delicious. The coffee flights were so amazing They are made with beans from a local group and were beyond awesome! They even made mine dairy free!!! I crave them daily. One of mine was matcha, which I have tried in many places. This is by far the best! I have returned again for a to-go order or two. The staff here aims to please and take it up a notch. I've gotten take-out here 2x so far. I appreciate(d) the ease of online order, text when it's ready & grab your order on the table outside. Completely contactless in the time of COVID. The food itself is pretty good, the potato's with breakfast are really the star. But the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. 1. Ordering an egg breakfast, you can chose a toast option. Order form says "click all that apply". Since we also wanted a bagel with our order & there was a (+2.50) next to the bagel, I assumed I could add it as a side on the same page. Easy. But apparently wrong. 2. Instead of calling me prior to me picking up my order to explain the mistake on the website, they charged me the bagel up charge & did not put a bagel in my order. 3. When we called about the missing bagel, they read off our slip, apologized & said they'd put it right at Take-out for us - great! 4. They called us back a couple minutes later to tell us that we owed them 2$ for the toast that came with the egg breakfast (recall how we'd been charged 2.50 for the bagel we didn't even get?). AND that I'd have to come in to sort it out (something I'm clearly avoiding since I did curbside pickup). I'm just super turned off by this experience. The website was misleading, they didn't even properly fill the order & seriously called back to charge me 2 additional dollars when it was their mistake? Good food, considering the competition in the area. They had a tofu-based breakfast option, which gets this place lots of vegetarian points. This would've been a 5 star rating if there weren't multiple pieces of bacon in my food (obviously I did not order anything that had bacon in it). A nice find for breakfast. They have great looking pastries and cakes too. We opted to eat in, they also have takeout. It was late mid morning, only a few other patrons present. We were seated and waited on promptly. Both of us opting for eggs, toast , home fries and meat. Ordered them well scrambled, homemade oatmeal bread with sausage. They arrived fast and hot. The egg was perfectly cooked, moist and not runny at all. The toast pieces -2, were huge. It had great flavor, perfectly toasted and buttered. The potatoes appeared to be two kinds; white and purple. They were nicely seasoned and well cooked. Two sausage patties were the serving. It was wonderfully spiced and very flavorful. We had also ordered bacon, it was perfectly cooked, crisp with great flavor. A great find, worth a stop if you are in town. read more

What a great little find tucked away in Orleans! They opened last March but we only made it there today (Dec 26) despite passing by on our way to Naiset all year long (kept "meaning to" go in). Now we are sad it took us so long! Great lunch spot, cute decor, nice staff, efficient service (timing) and delicious, solid lunch! Hubby had 1/2 sandwich (chicken salad) & soup (mulagatawny), I had the special panini of the day "Caprese" and a small bowl of the same soup. SO! Good! Everything! I searched for breakfast/ brunch places in Orleans and Whisk came up. My boyfriend, his 7 yr old and I decided to try it out... we got there around 1030am on a Saturday and were one of the few ppl there. There's a bakery and what looked like a small bar as you walk in. The hostess and waitress were happy and helpful. My boyfriend ordered porridge, I got an egg sandwich, we both ordered a side of the root vegetable hash and the 7 yr old ordered mint hot chocolate and blueberry pancakes. The English muffin was locally made and delicious and the egg, cheddar and bacon was scrumptious! Everyone loved the food and it was not badly priced. With Covid cases beginning to climb again we are always on the lookout for outside dining. Whisk offers a nice breakfast menu which includes excellent omelettes. They offer inside dining as well as takeout, but they do have an outdoor patio with several tables. You do need to order your food inside, at the counter, but the staff will bring to you outside on the patio. Came here for breakfast despite the negative reviews. We were greeted immediately and sat down right away. The service was friendly and attentive, food and coffee very good. We had the corned beef hash and build your own omelet, both with the homemade oatmeal toast and home fries. This would have been a 5 star review for me except for one issue. The coffee is advertised on the menu to include 1 refill. I did not know this when I ordered but saw it later. However, the waitress kept coming over and offering to refill my half empty cup. When the bill came, I was charged for 2- $1.00 refills. I just felt like she could have been more transparent with the policy instead of refilling my cup multiple times. In addition, the coffee cups were very small so this may be something to improve upon. All in all a fantastic meal and I will return my next time on the cape. read more

We ate breakfast here on a Sunday. The place was hopping. The only seating available was a high top which ended up being uncomfortable to sit at. The waitress kindly, and without attitude, moved us to a table which had just been vacated. That was a great start. I had the roasted vegetable hash with over easy eggs on top, accompanied by a thick wedge of homemade toasted bread. It was huge and scrumptious! Hubby had an omelette with sausage, onion, mini potatoes and fire roasted tomatoes. He said it was the best omelette he ever had. Orange juice was freshly squeezed. When arriving at Whisk, the hostess told my family and I that we would only be waiting 35 minutes. They let us wait at one of the outside tables but we waited around an hour before anyone would serve us. They later said we could have asked for take-out but, the hostess never told us about the take-out option. We eventually caved in and decided to sit inside because apparently they are not allowed to serve to customers on there outdoor patio area. When finally seated my Mother asked if the waitress could turn down the AC due to it being very cold in the restaurant. The waitress replied: "No" and when my Mother asked again the waitress kept on saying "no" without any explanation. She then said that "I could have just lied to you and said we could but don't like other restaurants!" Very rude service. Besides atrocious service and long waits, my omelette had wayyy too many sausages and not enough peppers and cheese. It was basically like I was eating sausage and eggs. Overall I would not eat here again. As someone who works in the food industry with the public the waitress was not worth anything above a 10% tip. read more
