Beth's bakery blew our expectations! Stopped in the for a quick breakfast and coffee and left happy and full. We ordered three breakfast croissants and two lattes. The breakfast croissants were fluffy and filling.

If you're in the area, this is a must. Who doesn't want a sandwich in Sandwhich?! First off the area is so cute and picturesque located in a house looking building. There's seating inside and outsides with plenty of space. You can also walk to the other road with shops. The service was quick and friendly. I got the cranberry bread chicken salad sandwich which was Amazing. I also tried another panini which was delicious. All served fresh. Definitely recommend and they come with chips!

This place is a must visit next time you are in Sandwich. We love spending time in Sandwich and somehow never came to Beth's for anything but takeout. We went there for breakfast on a cold December morning and it was spectacular. The food was amazing. I had a ham apple brie quiche. What an amazing meal. It was an absolute experience. The quiche was delicious and Sue had the croissant egg and sausage sandwich with cheddar. It was delicious. The service was excellent. Friendly and efficient helpful and completely engaged. Such a lovely place to relax and enjoy a nice cup of tea and soak in the lovely atmosphere. Next time you are in town check out Beth's. You'll be happy you did.

Cute spot! Highly recommend. Shotgun review: - Big interior with plenty of seats - Cute deck with more tables - Super friendly & efficient staff - GLUTEN FREE MUFFINS!* - Clean bathrooms - Phenomenal coffee *I read about the muffins on Yelp but didn't see any gluten-free goods in the case when I arrived. I almost panicked, but I asked the sweet staff member behind the counter, & she said they store them frozen to keep up with demand. They reheated the muffin with a bit of butter for me. Phenomenal.

One of the best keylime pie we had. So creamy!

We came to this "Sandwich" town to have some sandwiches. Very popular but service is fast. Highly recommend the keylime pie and soup, both are delicious!

Beth's Bakery is sporting a 4 and 1/2 star rating right now and that is about right. I will go with 5 stars not to drag them down. I had a 4 and 1/2 star on two recent visits during a vacation week in Sandwich. Beth's has plenty of seating inside and some seating outside. Every time I was it was fairly busy but the food was delivered quickly and we were able to sit down. The staff at Beth's is very friendly and nice. They may be the highlight. The food is wholesome and tasty. I had sandwiches and coffee on both my visits. There are some vegan options and lots of other choices as well. I would go back to Beth's any time.

Cute cafe right in downtown sandwich! Perfect for a quick breakfast or lunch. Ambiance is very french cafe with seating outside that's dog friendly! The breakfast wrap was so simple but hit the spot perfectly. Eggs were more like a souffle - so soft and pillowly! We're staying within walking distance and this is the perfect spot to stop before you get on with the day!

Delicious pastries and super friendly service. We had the cannoli and apricot pastries and LOVED them. The broccoli and ham quiche was excellent! Lattes were good (my medium was too cool and my husband's small was scorching hot). But still a 5 star review overall. The tables and chairs were comfy and solid. The whole place was thoughtfully decorated, keeping its antique Puritan church vibe but still clean.

What a fantastic little gym in sandwich. This cafe and bakery is so quaint and charming. You won't want to leave. Lindsay was so engaging and friendly that she made us feel very well welcomed. The pastries were well pointed and the coffee on point. They have an outdoor patio. You can sit and enjoy your food and drink. They also have a collection of cute apparel and other knick knacks featuring Sandwich. Highly recommended!

Lots of options for baked items or lunch

Yelp led me to the Snowy Owl, which a cute cafe in a converted auto service station. It's got some comfortable seating inside and out, and immediately gives off welcoming vibes. While we were looking for something to go, I got the feeling some folks sit here for hours. Something about the unique space had me craving a unique drink - not my usual black coffee. Their house made cherry cola espresso piqued my curiosity. It tasted just like it sounds - a double shot of slightly bitter espresso mixed with not-too-sweet carbonated cola. I would have like more cherry syrup sweetness, but it was an interesting choice that I was glad to experience. The friendly service, variety of drinks, and chill vibes are good reasons to return.

Snowy Owl Cafe & Roastery was on the way and its cute vibe had me from the exterior - Was this a service garage in a past life?! We were greeted by several friendly staff and the atmosphere made me want to sit down for an hour and pretend I was young and hip. I ordered a half-caff Americano with a splash of oat milk. As a Starbucks drinker, it was not as strong as a Starbucks Americano but had a nice flavor and was bolder than many others. There were food options on the menu but we'd just had lunch, so didn't get to sample them. I would definitely return!

When I first stumbled across Nana's about a year ago, I was absolutely thrilled. I finally thought…read moreI had found an authentic Italian sandwich shop on the Cape. I ordered four "sangwiches"--pork and rabe, chicken cutlet and rabe, and Italian hoagies--and every single one was outstanding. In fact, Nana's immediately became one of my "must-stop" places every time I came to the Cape. Sadly, that was not my recent experience. Before writing this review, I tried contacting Nana's twice through their website and also reached out through Facebook and Instagram. After waiting two weeks without a single response, I'm reluctantly posting this instead. On my latest visit, I stopped in between breakfast and lunch, figuring I'd picked the perfect time. There were only three customers in the restaurant. I stood at the sandwich counter for nearly 20 minutes while the sandwich crew and what appeared to be a manager carried on a conversation. I was standing directly in front of them, yet no one acknowledged me. Just as I was about to walk out, their meeting ended and someone finally took my order. I was disappointed to hear there was no pork and rabe available, so I ordered a chicken cutlet and rabe sandwich along with Italian hoagies. I specifically discussed the long hot peppers with the cashier because they were one of the things I loved most about my previous visit. I didn't mind waiting because I could see the cutlets being fried fresh and the broccoli rabe being heated. Fresh food done right is worth waiting for. Unfortunately, the sandwiches were nothing like I remembered. The chicken cutlet was perfectly fried, but everything else fell flat. The broccoli rabe was long, stringy, and difficult to chew. After one bite, the entire pile of rabe pulled out of the sandwich in one piece. That also let me taste it by itself--and it tasted like...water. No garlic. No olive oil. None of the slight bitterness that good broccoli rabe should have. Just bland. The bread was another huge disappointment. Instead of the crusty Italian bread I remembered, it was served on a soft, doughy roll that completely changed the sandwich. And despite specifically requesting the long hot peppers, there weren't any. No peppers. No seasoning. Just a fried cutlet and flavorless greens on dry bread. It was a waste of what could have been an excellent sandwich. Then came the Italian hoagie. It was honestly one of the most disappointing Italian sandwiches I've ever had. Again, it came on the same soft hoagie roll. There was a light smear of dressing, the cold cuts, and two paper-thin slices of tomato. No lettuce. No onions. No hot peppers. Barely any dressing. Nothing that makes an authentic Italian hoagie memorable. I honestly think I've had better Italian sandwiches from Subway. I kept hoping this was simply the result of summer help, inexperienced staff, or just an off day. But after making multiple attempts to contact management and never receiving a response, I'm left wondering if Nana's has changed owners, if quality standards have slipped, or if customer feedback simply isn't important anymore. It's genuinely disappointing because I know how good Nana's used to be. That's what makes this review so difficult to write. You earned a loyal customer once. If you ever return to making the sandwiches you were serving in 2025--with authentic bread, properly seasoned ingredients, careful attention to orders, and the quality that first impressed me--I'd gladly come back. Until then, I can't honestly recommend Nana's as an authentic Italian-American sandwich shop. Right now, it feels more like an average American sandwich shop charging premium prices. Thank you for the wonderful sandwiches you once made. I sincerely hope you find your way back to them.

We were pleasantly surprised that there were plenty of open tables inside and outside. What we didn't know is that there is pressure to place your order at the counter because there was about a 40 minute wait for food because the kitchen was switching over and finishing up after breakfast. The staff were friendly but there was a busy vibe and I wouldn't say they were particularly helpful - mostly because of no dedicated spot for lining up to order and the woman behind the counter kept instructing people to move the line back so that the food could get carried through. It felt like the person in charge of directing traffic (and there was a young man in charge of this!) should have been enforcing the spot, the printed menus should be moved to this spot instead of on a post in the middle of the "food carrying zone," and that person should also point patrons in the direction of the many specials boards. As they dubbed themselves, "Sandwich's sandwichery," I ordered the Mother Hen sandwich- I was drawn to the avocado and bacon. It was served on a ciabatta style roll and was very tasty. I ordered my sandwich "light on the herb mayo" as I'm not always a mayo gal. It could have used more. I was also tempted by the GIANT pastries they had on display but didn't want to go overboard on day one of vacation. As we sat waiting for our food, we saw lots of people coming in for take out as well as ordering to eat-in. Families, large groups, couples, and solo diners all seemed accommodated. I noted it would probably be a fun place to grab sandwiches to go and eat at the beach or some other outdoor place. During this time I also noticed several other specials that looked really intriguing but in my panic to get an order in, I missed the signs entirely. If you are in, or passing through Sandwich, MA, definitely check out Cafe Chew!
