Comes with coleslaw and fries but opted for a side of onion rings and substituted the baked beans for the fries. The plate was loaded with nice fresh bar scallops with a light batter as did the cod filet. All wax well fried and seasoned well. The portion size on both the scallops and cod were large. Cod was very fresh and flaky. Some of the best I've had in a while. Baked beans were just like Mom used to make them and they even had pieces of bacon in them. Portion of onion rings, like everything else you get here, was huge and could have been shared with three or four people. The onions are thinly sliced and the batter is incredibly light and crunchy. This may need to be a repeat meal it was so good. And as always the servers are excellent and make sure you're well taken care of.

Both were very friendly and did a great job handling everyone. Menu is printed on the placemat on the table and pretty extensive. Plenty of choices for everyone from breakfast to lunch. We chose the cinnamon french toast, chocolate chip pancakes, home fries, bacon, and a cup of chowder. Given how busy they were the food arrived pretty quickly. Chowder should have arrived first but the server forgot about it and offered to put the pancakes under the heat lamp till I finished the chowder but I decided not to do that as I figured it would ruin the pancakes. The chowder was loaded with plenty of clams and potatoes and had a good flavor to it. The chowder had a light creamy texture which was very nice compared to some of the gloopy chowders you can get. The cinnamon French toast was two large sliced of their home made cinnamon bread coated with a light sugar sauce which enhanced the flavor of the toast. There were plenty of cinnamong swirls in the bread which made it very tasty. The chocolate chip pancakes (2) had a small pile of miniature chocolate chips on top with plenty mixed into the pancakes. The pancakes were light and fluffy and very tasty. The home fries were well fried, as asked for, with plenty of onions mixed in. It was very nice that they were red skinned potatoes so the pieces were small and crispy. The bacon, 3 slices) came well done, again as asked for, and was super crispy and tasted like applewood smoked bacon. Ordered a slice of their forest berry pie to go and then forgot it! But I know it was going to be great because it looked fantastic. Didn't go back for it as we remebered it about an hour after we left and they would have been closed by then. Seating is comfortable with a combination of tables for two and four people. All in all a great experience and we'll be going back when we come to the Cape again.

We don't have a manager--it just all works." And WOW, does it work!!! I opted for the hash Benedict with fruit instead of potatoes. I got potatoes by mistake anyway, but they immediately brought over the fruit.
