I cannot rave enough about this place. I've visited Hyannis in March, three years in a row. Every…read moreyear we have eaten here for one of our meals. Every year is has been incredible. This year we came back because of how outstanding last year was. I ordered the chili again, even though I knew it meant I probably wouldn't eat my whole meal. My friend ordered the fish and chips and upgraded to truffle fries. She said it was probably the best fish and chips she's had. Now... for my meal... I am not exaggerating... BEST meal I have EVER had. Ever. I had the cod. Baked. With pesto, and sun-dried tomatoes. Served with roasted potatoes and spinach. So flaky. So tender. Perfectly cooked. The flavor was something straight from heaven. Breaks my heart I'm not local. I'd eat this weekly. All of the staff is always so friendly. A gentleman also checked in... not sure if he's a manager or owner. This is a top notch place. I'll definitely be back.

The TV screens are perfectly placed, the bartenders are friendly and attentive, and the overall atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming. The pizza was excellent -- flavorful, hot, and done just right. We also tried the meatloaf, and it genuinely reminded us of our grandmother's from years ago -- comforting, hearty, and full of flavor. That's not something you find everywhere. Even in the middle of winter, the place had a warm, lively vibe. We ended up having a great conversation with someone we later found out was the owner -- just chatting about everyday life. That kind of genuine hospitality says a lot. Good food, great service, and an easygoing atmosphere. Thanks for a great experience -- we'll definitely be back!

It's easy to assume all pizza houses are very similar. Not New England Pizza. For me, three things…read morestand out: it's clean and spacious; the food is carefully prepared and a good value; and the staff strive to make you feel at home. (Kudos to Gilson and the owner here.) And if you face North towards the road, you even get a pond view! Recently, my wife and I stopped by to try their classic Greek Salad with chicken as an add-on. And soon we were gazing on a massive, nicely dressed bowl of crisp lettuce with feta cheese crumbles and moist chunks of chicken. And we celebrated with a cool Chardonnay and refreshing Coors Light. For desert, we opted for a thick honey-drenched slice of home made Baklava. So you know what I'm thinkin'? When can we return?

5 -Star Arrogance, 0 -Star Hygiene: Where the Food is Spat On and the Customers are Wrong!!!…read more Oh, look, another masterpiece of "professional" management. Between the Smurf co-owner running the place into the ground and the local health investigator basically having a permanent parking spot out front, it's a wonder they're still in business. Apparently, Sarah Smith's review about the kitchen staff SPITTING in the food wasn't a warning--it was a teaser. Naturally, after I placed my order, I had the audacity to expect food within twenty minutes. Silly me. I checked in only to find out they'd gifted my meal to someone else. But don't worry, they promised it would be ready in a "few minutes." 10 minutes later I checked and I get a condescending lecture on the virtues of patience from the little "Smurf" himself. Imagine having the ego to lose a customer's order, waste thirty minutes of their life, and then deliver a sermon instead of an apology. This is the 2nd time he was VERY RUDE to me, I just chalked it up to having a bad day the first time. If you bother to read the reviews, it's a recurring theme: unless you're Brazilian, you're basically an inconvenience to this guy's day. Between the blatant arrogance and the Health Department's mounting file on the HAIR and SPIT found in the food (read Health Investigator's review) , I'd say this place is a must-visit--if you're looking to get insulted and infected at the same time. Bon appétit.
