Lunch menu

Great breakfast place. It looked like the big seller is eggs Benedict. If you want them runny you have to ask as the yolk will be slightly done. Long line to get in in the summer. Usually people will wait quite a while; but you can always get a seat at the counter. They serve lunch as well as breakfast. Specials are on the chalk board on the wall and so is the lunch menu.

About a 15min wait but well worth it. Nice breakfast this morning. Hash & eggs for me with Cajun sausage side. Asparagus bacon and Boursin cheese omelette for Sheryl. Both cleaned out plates!

Plain pancake although there's nothing plain about it! It's spectacular!!

I just had one of the best breakfasts I've ever had! Coffee was a smooth blend, steak and eggs was amazing and steak was tender, and the pancake? Well that was the star of the show! I tried lemon blueberry and plain. My favorite was the plain one! I waited 45 minutes for our table but it was definitely worth the wait. The staff was friendly and attentive and Amy our server was really friendly . The spot is small but it's a great vibe of friendly people. I strongly recommend this spot if you're ever in the area.

Moonakis is always consistently very good. We waited about 15 minutes for our table at 11:15am on a Sunday. My friend and I enjoyed our food but definitely needed to season the eggs and potatoes. Pancakes are always so so good. Only real complaint would be the food came out before the water, but it really wasn't a big deal! Will definitely be back here later this summer!

This place is worth the wait. It seems to be the "it" place for locals and visitors alike. On a Saturday morning at 830, there was a 30 minute wait when we arrived. The hostess took my name and number then I received a text when the table was ready. The menu is good with tons of specials which seem to be both daily and seasonal. We ordered the special #3 which we split between 2 children, a corned beef hash with eggs and toast. The hash was rather salty and the eggs slightly on the dry side but the hot sauce fixed all that. Then a Portuguese French toast. There was so much food that nobody could finish it. On the ambiance side of things. There are local photos on the walls and what seems to be sound reduction panels on the ceilings but it was still rather loud due to all the conversations in this full restaurant. I can't wait to come back

Eggs Benedict and a blueberry pancake.

In my opinion, this is the best breakfast place around. Exceptional service and the food is great! Very clean, food comes out very quick. Highly recommend giving it a try if you haven't eaten here.

This is clearly a popular spot in town. It's a small cafe vibe and it's always packed, so plan ahead because there's always a wait (on weekends, at least; I have not been during the week.) The service is fantastic. The regular menu is robust enough (try the Portuguese French toast), but they regularly have a wide variety of specials to choose from as well. If you're an omelette person, there are plenty to choose from to fit every taste. I've enjoyed their Benedicts or their Salmon platter when I've gone.

Came here for breakfast and had a positive experience. We ordered a couple of things as a group: the açaí bowl special, eggs Benedict and a sampler dish of eggs/meat/pancakes. Everything was flavorful and cooked to our liking. Our server was super friendly and constantly checked in to see how things were going. It's a cute place and I had a very positive experience. Would absolutely come back.

The best breakfast dish ever...

Last weekend I had the absolute best Breakfast ever at Moonakis Cafe. It was a Seafood Benedict plate, loaded with free Seafood. The sauce was outstanding, the side asparagus was cooked perfectly. It was a special and I WISH they would in added to the primary menur. I VERY highly recommend this Cafe. Simply the best

Good food. But the most expensive breakfast place in town. Try Crabapples- good food. More reasonable

Our server was pleasant enough and the small restaurant was cute. Bar, hightop, booth and table seating are available. I ordered the fish and chips while my wife ordered the fish tacos with sweet potato fries. The fish tacos were very good but had too much cilantro but the taste was very fresh. My fish and chips was excellent. The fish was cooked perfectly, flaky and still glistening. The batter was crispy and was thicker than tempura but thinner than beer batter. The only issue was a fairly small portion size. My wife had the same amount of fish on her tacos. We did have dessert, which was unusual for us. My pecan pie was extremely well done and had a wonderful flavor. Only way to make it better would be to serve it cold, not room temperature...but that's just personal preference. My wife got the tapioca pudding, which was a little less successfully prepared. The texture wasn't bad, it was served cold but had to option to be heated and the serving size was good. It just didn'tdidnt have much flavor...tasted more like a custard, but it was even bland for that. Over all? Very positive experience and we will be back
