Delivery with uber eats- scrambled, tueky bacon, corn bread

Staying in a place that has no kitchen facilities and doesn't offer breakfast, and i had some work to do so i thought i'd order in. There weren't many good "average" reviews so i picked this place because of the many food options! I especially liked the wet scramble option as many times eggs are just overcooked and dry. This scramble was cooked perfectly. The turkey bacon also was cooked right and there was a hash brown patty which was browned outside but a bit raw in the middle. Yet... it was all COLD when it arrived, even the coffee. It all looked amazing but to offer delivery and not to plan for it with some kind of insulating containers?? It was sent in plastic, no type of insulation at all! Cold food on a cold morning... a chilly $46...

    New England Clam Chowder

Father's Day brunch. The clam chowder was delicious, but the clams were chewy. The potato's in it were the perfect tenderness. Pancakes were mediocre. Grilled cheese and the scrambled eggs had a strange aftertaste; butter wasn't used, maybe margarine?? Fruit bowl was fresh and delicious. Corn bread was excellent! Ambiance was a bit loud from all the talking, but welcoming. Wait staff were very friendly & professional!

I was VERY UNIMPRESSED. My eggs benedict were really not very good. There was very little sauce, maybe 1.5 T for both sides (and charge extra if you want more) Also, I found a 2x4 in piece of plastic wrap in between the layers! I will say that the home fries were actually quite delicious. Everything else we had was "ok". I would not go back here unless I needed to bc of convenience factor. Scrambled eggs were ok, pancake & French toast not too bad, so maybe get that. Definitely don't get the eggs benedict though.

Omelette: spinach and Swiss California Benedict

Omelette: spinach, Onion and Swiss & California Benedict Our breakfast was delicious! The potatoes were just like home in California- yummy. Crisp on the outside- tender on the inside. Not over seasoned. Well done!

Order takeout what I received was embarrassing. My two eggs were literally cut into about 50 pieces. I'm going to attach a photo if possible -there was no egg white just the middle and wow seems like they just don't care at all.

What was on my plate: Cinnamon crumps, Marinated mushrooms, cottage cheese and eggs

Food is good but they constantly cancel door dash orders. I was once on hold for 8 minutes trying to order pick up. Just poorly managed.

It was a little surprising that a room with such a large common space would have two queen beds instead of a king bed, though. The staff, including housekeeping, did a great job making us feel like guests of honor all weekend long, with a bride and groom welcome setup and several refreshes of the room while we were away. We were also able to book one of the dog-friendly rooms at the last minute, in which my mom stayed with our dog. There was lots of green space on and off the property for our dog to explore on walks. The Coonamessett also hosted our morning-after-the-wedding buffet breakfast, which we coordinated through their special events team five months before the wedding. The food was pretty good, nothing special, but was a little on the pricier side (to be expected for a wedding-related event). Since they weren't hosting a wedding on-site that weekend, we were able to use the entire ballroom space. A couple hotel guests wandered in and grabbed a plate before we informed them it was a private event. The Coonamessett even opened the bar for our guests (my niece and nephew said the espresso martinis were good!).

Ah, the room. Quaint, yes. Comfy, no. Whoever designed here has absolutely no idea what they are doing. No in room coffee, and you can't get any from the main house till 730. No in room microwaves, and when I asked if I could use the kitchen's to warm some food, I was told "no." The onsite restaurant is closed, so...

Cape Cod Bagel has indoor dining, but I found their online pick-up option easy and efficient. The exployees were kind and very accomodating when I had to make a change to my order. It's got a low-key no frills vibe that is charming in its own kind of way, and we definitely appreciated their shellacked bagel decor. We got everything to go, our overall assessment is: meh. The bagels themselves are fine, but the they put way too much cream cheese which just ends up oozing out everywhere. The plain bagel with scallion/chive cream cheese and tomatoes was pretty good, but the sesame one with eggs and cheese was unimpressive because 1) it needed some acidity, and 2) the eggs were rubbery, like they were made in a microwave with egg mix that came out of a carton. No thank you. Our kiddo's plain everything was fine. We asked at the register if their muffins were homemade and were told "yes," but we strongly doubt it because the pistachio one we ordered tasted *exactly* like the artificial almond flavor pistachio ones that are a distinct product of Sysco/Whatever Massive Food Purveyor. So that was a bummer. Overall, we're glad we tried it at long last, and maybe we'll come again and order better. But we'll still be on the lookout for a good breakfast place to grab some quick food whenever we're not in the mood for Pie in the Sky next time we're in the area.
