I really enjoyed these bagels. We ordered online which was fast and convenient. The bagels are a modest size and a little softer than most but tasty with a bit of sweetness to them. I would've liked a little more bacon in my bacon scallion cream cheese and eggs in the BEC sandwich felt likely the microwaved but the coffee is great and overall it's well done. First time stop at Cape Cod Bagels even though we've driven by this place thousands of times. It was super busy on a Sunday morning, but everyone is hustling and friendly enough. It's got a low-key no frills vibe that is charming in its own kind of way, and we definitely appreciated their shellacked bagel decor. We got everything to go, our overall assessment is: meh. The bagels themselves are fine, but the they put way too much cream cheese which just ends up oozing out everywhere. The plain bagel with scallion/chive cream cheese and tomatoes was pretty good, but the sesame one with eggs and cheese was unimpressive because 1) it needed some acidity, and 2) the eggs were rubbery, like they were made in a microwave with egg mix that came out of a carton. No thank you. Our kiddo's plain everything was fine. We asked at the register if their muffins were homemade and were told "yes," but we strongly doubt it because the pistachio one we ordered tasted *exactly* like the artificial almond flavor pistachio ones that are a distinct product of Sysco/Whatever Massive Food Purveyor. So that was a bummer. Overall, we're glad we tried it at long last, and maybe we'll come again and order better. But we'll still be on the lookout for a good breakfast place to grab some quick food whenever we're not in the mood for Pie in the Sky next time we're in the area. read more

First I would like to say I am a "regular". Love the bagels and all employees here. Today I run in to just grab an "as is" bagel to bring to work to toast up later. I asked for sliced and veg cc on side. I was absolutely SHOCKED as the counter person charged me a .10 "slicing fee". I obviously asked what is that? To which he responded, "don't shoot the messenger". Come on people! You mean to tell me every bagel that leaves this establishment is charged a .10 cent fee to slice? Wow! Talk about improvement. This is way better than the old place. Thank you for getting rid of all that junk up front. Much more open and spacious. The sandwiches have more meat. Everyone had a great attitude. I'm not sure what changed but people are just nicer and less grumpy. The new ordering system is great. Plenty of staff. Great shirts. Cape Cod Bagel is my friend groups go-to when in Falmouth! They bagels are so soft and squishy and they have a variety of good flavors. My favorite is the asiago and is always my go-to. They also have a bunch of breakfast sandwich combos.! They also have a lot of lunch sandwiches, coffees and some baked goods! They have indoor and outdoor seating or you can get them to-go. Warning: there will always be a line or some sort of wait, especially in the summer, so definitely call ahead or go as early as possible. read more

Our favorite breakfast spot was closed and we really wanted to have a breakfast sandwich. Grabbed one here and was not pleased. The egg was about 2inches thick- which would be great if it were real scrambled eggs and not the powdered crap. Sandwich was completely dried out. If it weren't for a bottled water I had in my car, we would have choked to death trying to swallow it down. If you don't mind a dry, powdered egg sandwich then this is definitely your place to go! Excellent bagel shop, highly recommended. Salt bagels are my favorite, so that's what I had, a chicken salad sandwich with "the works" (lettuce, tomato, cucumber, pickles, onions, pepperoncini.) It was excellent. I also got a bagel for the next morning, which was still delicious and chewy. The service was efficient and cheerful. I only had to wait a few minutes for my sandwich to be prepared. There are lots of tables and chairs if you'd like to eat in (I did.) There are a number of different coffees to try, but since it was lunch, I had iced tea. There's plenty of parking outside. One problem was that there are two entrances to the business. The side I was on was unmarked, so I wasn't sure it was the bagel shop. (Side note, there's a great consignment store next door to peruse after you've had your bagel fix.) read more

This place was our favorite go to coming off island from the Vineyard or when in Falmouth. it was absolutely five star fantastic just the greatest atmosphere the greatest bagels - classic lox and bagels on an everything bagel (and speaking as a native New Yorker none better in Brooklyn or anywhere). Nice staff and local artists jewelry and artwork for sale in glass cases. I went there this summer, they were closed in the middle of the week ( WTF? that place was always jammin'). I went back a subsequent time and they were finally open. I felt like I'd walked into a funeral parlor. New owners - nasty people - will never go back. All the artisans are gone -- gave me an empty hollow feeling in there and when I asked what was going on the people behind the counter were horrid. Buh-bye. The place was empty. We ordered steak and cheese sandwiches, mine on a sub roll with caramelized onions, hers a wrap with hot sauce. What we got was slightly warm roast beef, mine with peppers, hers on a roll with no hot sauce. When I pointed these discrepancies out, she said, sorry. When I continued to stand there, she says, "what! Do you want me to make them again?" I said please. We got warmish roast beef again, no onions, no cheese, both on rolls again, but at least she sighed and rolled her eyes a lot. This is a waste of money, and a very unpleasant experience. read more

Coming from the northeast, and a regular consumer of NY bagels - I was skeptical when I read 'great bagels' somewhere outside the tristate area. But I stand corrected - these bagels were delightful! Full disclosure: we came here twice while on vacation. Lines were LONG each time - once as a breakfast stop on our 20 mile bike ride (no judgment, it was vacation), and once for breakfast before heading home. The line on Sunday morning was out the door and down the ramp - it moved fast, and we had our bagels within 25 minutes. Chewy bagels with a good skin to them - one of my favorite things was all the seeds - they were covered top and bottom. Nothing irks me more than when I order an everything bagel, and it's seedless. Had the opportunity to consumer bagels with cream cheese, and bagel sandwiches, they were both super delicious. Due to a mixup in ordering, we didn't get to try the bacon+scallion cream cheese, but the idea of that on a bagel is so drool-worthy! I have not tried their bagels yet but each person I have asked as said nothing but great things about them. I personally have enjoyed the sandwiches. My favorite sandwich is their Clover Chicken Wrap. Its Chicken breast and gorgonzola cheese spread, dried cranberries, chopped celery, and walnuts with lettuce and tomato on your choice of wrap. It comes with a side of potato salad or pasta salad or small bag of cape cod chips. It has enough of each ingredient that they don't overwhelm each other an a decent size too. First off I just want to say how I've heard great things about this place. However, I left extremely disappointed without a bagel. Having ordered just one bagel with cream cheese I waited over 15 minutes, which is understandable due to there being a rush, yet I still hadn't received my bagel. By that point I really needed to go to the restroom, and after returning (partially my fault) I could not tell if they had called my order or not as the order numbers were all over the place. I noticed a customer in front of me left without their bagel after waiting so long. I could not get the attention of staff and I eventually left with no bagel as well even though I payed. A lot of this could be fixed if the shop was better organized and staff was more present. Instead of yelling customer orders 15+ minutes after the customer ordered - they should probably have a designated area where customers can pick up their orders similar to Panera and Dunkin instead of guarding the order behind the counter especially if staff is too busy to engage with the customers. read more

My favorite bagels! My family occasionally makes the 1.5 hour drive to the Cape just to pick up a dozen of these bagels. They even taste great after you freeze them. Been coming here for years.. this past weekend was charged $15 for a chicken salad sandwich with nothing on it, $13 for american cheese and lettuce on a bagel and $5.95 for a PBJ. there was a sign on the board for PBJ for 4 bucks when I questioned this the manager was dismissive and said oh we "probably should update that" food is nothing to speak of to begin. I have heard great things about this bagel spot so I'm glad I made it here! I picked their Asiago Bagel with the jalapeño cheese spread. On the side I went for an iced coffee of course. They have a lot of cool syrups, and I was recommended to try the stick bun flavor. It was quite good with a little bit of almond milk. To be honest don't get the same combination as me. It was weird sipping coffee between bites of spicy bagel. I'd go back for another cream cheese that early in the morning and grab the jalapeño one to go!
