My juice was super fresh with a generous amount of veggies (not a cup full of ice), the veggie sushi roll was excellent - and also with good amount of filling rather than a thick layer of rice, and though the rice cakes weren't my favorite, I was delighted to discover they were fully gluten-free. Ordered veggie dumplings, Khmer noodles, and chysun bowl. The Chysun bowl was the best. Dumplings were soggy cabbage in fried wontons. Basically just fried dough stuff. Nothing special. The noodles were ok but I didn't taste any peanut, maybe they forgot it? It was vinegar, soy, and oil with noodles, tofu, and some veg, The chysun bowl is fantastic: avocado wrapped sweet potato and rice sushi with ginger, wasabi, and soy accompiment on top of a bed of greens carrots and cucumber. Very flavorful and fresh. Service goodambiance just a casual takeout place. I wish the noodles had some peanut with them. Kind of bland without it and skip the dumplings entirely. read more

Freshroll is the best! Fresh, vegan Cambodian street food on Cape Cod! I am so grateful this place exists. I have probably tried almost every single item on the menu at this point. I recommend the eponymous fresh rolls (of course) and salads which they do really well and always have a nice crispness. The vegan "tuna" roll is my favorite "shushi" roll as someone who always loved tuna but now avoids due to ethical reasons - it is surprisingly similar to tuna and the combination of creamy mayo and crunchy veg is always a hit. Of the noodles and entrees, I recommend the coconut angel noodles bowl which comes with angel hair rice noodles, fried tofu, fresh veg, mint, and chopped up crispy spring rolls - such a great balance of flavors and textures. The streetfood sandwich - a banh mi variation - is very good too. I am less of a fan of their other entrees like pad thai and fried rice as I do think you can get better versions at other Thai restaurants. The space is small and mostly takeout but they do have a few tables (you will get your food in to-go boxes regardless of takeout or eat in). The staff is very friendly and always super kind. The wait can get long if they are busy so I recommend ordering ahead for pickup. Overall, I highly highly recommend this gem! read more

My friend and I ventured upon this place randomly since we were hungry for something that wasn't seafood or burgers. We were staying in Cape Cod for vacation and all we had been eating was pretty much seafood and things that we would grill for dinner. Their menu is pretty extensive so it was difficult for us to choose what we wanted to eat. My friend had the hometown sandwich with fried tofu cubes and grilled "scallops" which I think might be king oyster mushrooms drenched in a peanut sauce with crunchy cucumbers in a French baguette. The baguette was crispy and the flavors were so fresh! It is like a vegetarian banh mi. I had the Khmer noodles which were thin rice noodles with various veggies in a peanut coconut sauce. The peanut coconut sauce was to die for. It is nothing like the typical sauce you would get in pad Thai. I say it might even be better! Fresh Roll is a great addition to the area. We found the spice level to be subtle compared to other Cambodian restaurants we have gone to. This was great for three members of our party of 5 who tend to enjoy milder spice levels. The two of us that love spiciness chose options with a higher spice level and enjoyed our meals as well. We had pat Thai, spicy noodles, ramen, dumplings and a rice dish. The location is right on 28 so it's convenient to get to, the inside is brightly decorated, and the staff was efficient (but kind!). I ordered the chysun roll which was great. I've been rooting for this business for years, they're committed to fresh healthy eating and this is from a guy who is not a veggie guy. The Street Noodles were awesome and even with sharing was very filling. I'm a big "egg in my stir fry" fan so if that's your thing you'll love it. The mango sticky rice is my favorite treat, and I will stop just for this. Sweet sticky rice with coconut cream over it, topped with half a mango. Good stuff! Decided to have a light and healthy dinner tonight, so I did takeout from Fresh Roll (439 Route 151, Mashpee). Over the last few years we've done takeout from Fresh Roll quite a number of times. The food is always fresh and tasty, available for pick up on time, and the owners and employees are super friendly and accommodating. You can order over the phone or online, we always do it over the phone. It's upscale Cambodian street food (and drinks) and is all vegetarian, much of it vegan. We also like that all the food items for takeout are packaged in bio-degradable containers. Tonight I did Fried Eggplant strips with creamy ginger dipping sauce (crisp on the outside, moist in the inside and the ginger sauce made a delicious foil for the eggplant), Tropical Mango Salad mix (which contains shredded mango mixed in an apple cider vinaigrette along with toasted coconut flakes, rainbow colored salad and topped with toasted peanut and crispy shallots--what a delighted flavor explosion), and a Japanese iced green tea latte (I always try a new drink when we go because they're excellent and the selection changes). Over time we've tried maybe half of the food items on the menu and maybe a quarter of the smoothies and drinks. It's all been wonderful enough to do takeout from Fresh Roll when we've had guests visiting who were looking for something different with a vegetarian flair. Fortunately, for our taste buds and health, there are still plenty of items remaining on the menu left to explore. read more

The Original Fresh roll was unique twist on traditional Khmer styled nam chow (fresh spring rolls). I really enjoyed the creamy peanut sauce...again, another unique twist on the traditional sauce. The Khmer noodles were good, but I wished it had more tofu. Overall, it was a great lunch and hit the spot. My husband loved the Tropical fruit smoothie.
