Fiddlestix catered my wedding in June on Martha's Vineyard and it was, to say the least, spectacular. The appetizer board was unique, creative and diverse. I lived in Asia, so she did bao buns, mandu and other asian inspired apps. I just let her go with whatever inspired her and it did NOT disappoint! People are still talking about the entrees, especially the cod with baked breadcrumbs and the sweet pea pesto pasta! The staff were smiley, flexible and hard-working. Heidi also did our "hangover brunch" which saved us all! We had about 60 guests the day after the wedding who were hungry and hungover the day after the wedding. She made a spread that pleased EVERYONE from burger sliders to a Bloody Mary and a make your own breakfast bagel bar. Can I give 10 stars? Heidi and her team were fantastic for our WEDDING. I was a little hesitate getting a food truck for our wedding, but Heidi is a pro and works a wedding like a catered event. She prepared all the food in the truck (eliminated our need to rent any grills/tools) and Heidi and her staff served all our food to our tables much like a restaurant would. 1st, and most importantly, the FOOD was AMAZING. So creative, and truly delicious. I asked for Greek style food for our WEDDING, and I got it TIMES ten. The cocktail hour board was so delicious that it was completely CLEARED out by my guests. The choices of cheeses, fishes, and her homemade SPANIKOPITA (spinach pies) impressed my husband's Greek family. Dinner was family style and presented so creatively on both sleek serve-ware, antique pieces, and gorgeous stainless ones. I loved the variety of the display of our food, but even more so, our dinner dishes were delicious. During and after, people were commenting at how delicious the food was (guests included some MAJOR foodies, the Greeks, and the Polish). We OVER ordered, and I am so glad we did, because I am eating leftover lamb kofta with roasted potatoes for dinner. Thank you to Heidi and her ridiculously awesome team for your creativity, your talent, and your passionate staff. I cannot recommend her food, her staff, and her truck enough. Another five star rating for a five star caterer!! Heidi came to my house two days in a row and blew us all away with each visit! First visit was for a cocktail reception - the food was over the top and the presentation was straight out of a magazine - elegant bold artistic FANTASTIC!! The next day a gourmet lunch fit for kings and queens - so much attention to detail not a single grape out of place - just amazing - i should also note that the crowd was a challenge - vegans, vegetarians- gluten dairy free folks and a handful of carnivores - every single guest raved - i clapped my hands with glee. I can't wait to engage her services again. The food prepared was delicious so good sooooooooo good - I loved everything!!! Heidi actually dug the clams the morning of our event herself and stuffed them for our party to die for I had to show restraint from not gobbling them all up myself - I had guests after all.
