The lamb appetizer was 30$ and cooked well done. The animal was already dead-they didn't need to kill it again. The Jonah crab Shimai looked like a big y pre packaged special but even more tasteless. The black truffle tagliolini was disgusting. This was definitely boxed pasta-rumo at best, and the grilled octopus appeared to be vienna sausages. They offered us free deserts that we threw out. Despite the possibility of someone spitting in them from our complaints-we knew they'd be disgusting either way. Better off going to McDonalds and getting a royale with cheese.

The servers are attentive and friendly, making you feel well taken care of from start to finish. It's a great spot to sit back, unwind, and enjoy a consistently strong menu. The flavors are on point no matter what you order. You really can't go wrong. Our favorites are the tuna dishes, including the tuna cannoli appetizer and the mad tuna entrée, both fresh and absolutely delicious. The classic margarita is also a standout: refreshing, perfectly balanced, and not overly sweet. In our opinion, this is some of the best dining on Cape Cod.

From the moment we arrived, the hostess was warm, friendly, and welcoming. Our server, Jessica, was exceptional--she described the menu with such knowledge and enthusiasm that every entrée sounded irresistible. We were a party of four, and everyone absolutely loved the dinner they chose. The food was outstanding--thoughtfully prepared, beautifully elevated, and memorable in every way. My wife and I have had the privilege of dining at many Michelin-starred restaurants around the world, and The Pheasant easily ranks among those exceptional experiences. During our two-week stay, we enjoyed meals at many restaurants across the Cape, but none compared to The Pheasant. The menu is inspired, the dishes are refined, and the entire experience was exceptional. It has unquestionably earned a place on our "must return to" list whenever we are back on Cape Cod.

If you want food, you have to time it right. We got there on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm, knowing that they closed at 2. Meals were not available at that time, nor were cocktails. The only food available was snacks and pastries in a display on the counter, and most of these were already gone as well. Wine was still available in 3oz. and 5oz. pours, and we found a couple that we really enjoyed. We received fantastic service at the counter, and we were checked on several times while we were seated (we were lucky enough to get the plush chairs by the window). Their full wine list is extensive and interesting. Depending on from what direction you approach, navigation might give you a very scenic route along the circular "road." Parking is spread out in that area, and one-way arrows exist, but not enough of them.

Well, on vacation I wanted to try this place as it was a part of my gluten-free restaurant lineup and I'm so happy we waited to try it. Among the other plates that we got, we did try the "not a cuban" sandwich, the creamy mac & cheese, and some more of their "summer lovin" drinks The pulled pork was amazing as it was perfectly slow cooked, had a nice subtle Smokey flavor, and pulled apart like butter in your mouth. I was happy to see all their gluten free options and they even had house made gluten free batter blend for sale in the front. The place overall is a vibe. They have a lot of cool local events with live music, half off burgers on Thursdays, and even a boozy brunch from 10 AM to two on Saturdays and Sundays. I'd recommend coming to try the BBQ here as it was delicious and reminded of a very popular BBQ place back home. Great place for family eating with outdoor seating and indoor seating.
