Açaí bowl after 5 minutes. Icy liquid soup. Stay far away, oy.
    Elizabeth C.

Açaí bowls were a massive disappointment. So disappointed and frustrated. I saw someone else get one of these when I was in for sandwiches and had been wanting one for weeks. I finally had a morning off and went to treat myself and my husband. They look nice (and the staff is kind and helpful as always!) but the bowls were completely icy and turned to literal soup within 5 minutes. I'm forcing myself to finish it because it was TWELVE DOLLARS but it is so gross and unappetizing it's hard to eat. I legitimately want to cry I'm so frustrated and disappointed. What a massive letdown and honestly total waste of TWENTY SIX DOLLARS for two bowls of slop. Sorry for the price yelling but I can't believe it! In what world is a liquid icy soup with some fruit chunks mixed in worth $12?! I am a local resident and I am so disappointed after weeks of hoping I had an awesome açaí bowl joint 5 minutes away.

Had been recommended by a friend and I went closer to close, enjoyed the atmosphere, the area and the menu and decor. Plenty of seating inside and out. Everyone working was great. I got a vanilla latte and the milk was floating at the top a little chunky, I returned it and asked for it to be remade they did. The sandwhich was serviced with cape cod chips and it was ok, nothing special. It was just tough to order a sandwhich and a coffee and paid $21 for a take out lunch. I know I'm on cape and inflation but could get triple the size for the same price at Dennis market and it would last me two days if I needed.

I don't know where to start. The food is unreal. Their staff are the nicest. Now- let's talk about the family hot pepper recipe..... to die for. If you like hots, go and pick up a jar NOW! I promise you will be happy.

Alas another rainy day of vacation on Cape Cod. At least I was able to enjoy an old favorite BLAT (BLT +avo) at Cafe Alfresco, mind you, an old favorite under new ownership. So far so great. The line looked daunting however it moved along very quickly and the friendly staff were accommodating to gluten allergies and dairy allergies, and were incredibly friendly and kind. I will definitely be returning here throughout the summer.

bummer that it says it's open but they're all closed up. I wish they would adjust their hours or tell people to call to see if they're open!

Hot Chocolate Sparrow - #3 turkey, roasted red pepper, pesto sandwich

I ordered a #3 turkey, roasted red pepper and pesto sandwich with a medium hot chocolate. Both were delicious! I was able to get a seat on the side. Inside is tight but a medium amount of seating. My food came out in about 5-10 minutes. The sandwich was delicious I just wish it was a little bite bigger but okay size for ~$10. The hot chocolate was also delicious but a little pricey ~$6. Overall so yummy and was fun to pick out some chocolate and try some goodies!

This is a hard place to rate. Is it a candy shop? Or is it a coffee shop? Actually it's both. For…read moresure they do an active business in the well stocked candy section and they make some very good chocolates. But most of the customers, myself included, seem to want it to be a coffee shop, a relaxing place to enjoy some coffee, some time with your devices, your book, or in conversation with friends. And there's nothing else nearby that fits the bill, so by defacto this is it. Unfortunately in this area it falls flat. Its interior more resembles a retail store than a cozy place to hang out with its closely spaced tables among merchandise shelves, a commercial feel, and it's been noisy and crowded every time I've been there.. My coffee, a standard small black, was good, and locally roasted, but loses points for being served in a paper cup that I fill for myself at the urn. For specialty drinks you get a number and wait to be called to the pickup window, the several waiting customers contributing to the noise and crowding. For me, a a big part of a coffee shop's overall rating is the quality of their pastries and sweets. Here's where they especially failed for me. They have many such items - an unusually large number actually, mostly slices of various cakes. But none are made in house, nobody could or would tell me who made them, and they were priced at up to and exceeding $12! That's not just high for a coffee shop, that's restaurant prices. At least in a restaurant your slice might be decorated with some fruit drizzle, whipped cream or ice cream and a cherry. But a sad slab of cake, naked on a plate made by who knows, for twelve dollars? No thanks. So instead I went over to the candy side. They have a large selection of chocolates, caramels, truffles, candied fruit slices, fudge, meltaways, all the usual forms, and all made by them. And every one that I have tried has been delicious. Before ordering my coffee I went to the counter, ordered four individual chocolates from the vast selection, and for under $5, sweets in hand, I got my coffee then went outside to the picnic area to relax. But even the outside wasn't so relaxing. It is a crowded, busy parking lot, and the picnic table is next to a Dumpster.

My family grew up with a place in H-port. & we are all gathered to celebrate a big birthday and overjoyed to be together. We walked into the beautiful cafe and are greeted by the most surly female person who purposely or not, gave us every single thing we DIDN'T order & with the nastiest attitude. We are APPALLED! We hosted the big bday last night for 60 at their sister property, Pelham House & the staff was STUPENDOUS. We had lunch at their sister property, Love Farm, whose food AND service was so divine, we decided to lunch there again Saturday. Here's our interchange: Hi! May I please have 2 Sausage, eggs & cheese sandwiches? Yes. Do you have any lactose free options? No. Really? I kind of find that hard to believe since you're a coffee shop. NO. She barks. 1 second later her colleague comes beside her and says, "Almond milk Coffee?!!!!" Then my sister says, " May I please have a blueberry muffin toasted or grilled." Now, our friend is in a bit of a dither and practically SPITS OUT, "WE DONT DO THAT HERE!" To the owners: there are many people who are looking to hire people who are not "people-people." Like AI cos. Why don't you let other companies have a chance at hiring these type of people so they don't ruin your perfectly good business?
