    Breakfast Burrito

Got takeout so can't really speak to the ambience and service too much but really solid breakfast burrito, lots of cheese! They don't skimp out on the filling at all. Fries were also pretty good!

Went here for breakfast and must say the service was awful. Took forever to get our food that was mediocre at best. Quite expensive as well. I wouldn't recommend.

Excellent service and the food was cooked to order. Fresh omelet and crispy home fries and killer sourdough toast. I wanted to order a scone and a muffin too as you can see they look delicious in a case. They are wonderful and I'd go back in a minute. And I'm not usually a breakfast person

Several helpful tips upon arriving: *There is no table service here. You'll order at their counter, get an assigned number and that's how they'll find you when your meal is ready. *If there's a wait for a table, add your name, and then you'll have to wait in the counter service line to place your order for your food. *They have a self serve water urn and condiment table. No need to buy boxed water as I did, unfortunately. Just help yourself to these items because they don't have waiters and no employee will tell you these details. This information would have been very helpful but the teenager working the waiting list and the person taking the orders didn't convey. This was frustrating. My Western Omlette was good, filled with cheese, but the ham and vegetables where cooked in the egg and not used as filling as is usually the case in a traditional omelette. I've had better. Hubs said his Huevos Rancheros was not a future reorder. The outside patio is covered and was pleasant on the July morning.

    Breakfast burrito

Best breakfast burrito on the Cape. Perfect ratios of everything, fresh ingredients - no complaints. Would wait 30 mins for it again

Jacinta, our server, recommended the crispy chicken sandwich. The fried chicken is delicious and crispy with lettuce, tomato, bacon with ranch dressing on toasted iggy's brioche. Also included is a handful of tasty fries. Our lunch arrived in a reasonable time. The cafe is clean and roomy with ample seating inside and out. Jacinta is tentative to making sure our coffee was filled and we were all set. I highly recommend this cafe and would place The Kitchen Cafe as a favorite.

Ive heard from a few people the Kitchen Cafe was excellent! I finally stopped in for breakfast and was disappointed on three counts. Before I get into all that I will attempt to qualify some things to your liking. 1st - Its very difficult to find good help these days. I get that. After working as a manager this past year at a local lumber retailer I felt the pain and frustration from this very issue and I feel for all the businesses on the Cape and beyond. 2nd - With all the great pressure Cape Cod restaurants feel from the swelling of the summer population from all the tourists and 'tour-ons' (credit cousin Bob W. for this cheeky noun), wanting to please the most possible customers in the least amount of time is prudent and profi 3rd - Product is expensive. Especially on Cape Cod. I was seated quickly and then had to get up and enter a cafeteria style line to order the breakfast. Denver Omelette. It was ok. The tiny chucks of ham were either food processed or purchased previously food processed. Not much flavor. There was one piece of cold under-toasted bread with a smidge of butter. The home fries tasted bland and perhaps were frozen. The one young man who I asked for ketchup and hot sauce tersely said its right behind you... He didn't make an effort to offer any assistance after that. For the price I paid it was definitely not a good dining experience.

Stopped by for breakfast but too late for breakfast items but we were able to find something that fit the bill. We were greeted immediately and shown to a table and explained how the restaurant operated. The process is you get assigned to a tan Blue and the go to the side of the restaurant to see the menu and place your order. You're then given a number which you take back to your table and the food is delivered to you. We ordered the morning glory sandwich consisting of two eggs, choice of meat, bacon in our case, hash brown, chipotle aioli served on a brioche bun. There are plenty of beverage selections to choose from. The sandwiches arrived pretty quickly . Everything was cooked fine with good flavor. If you want something quick and don't mind the cafeteria feel then this might be a choice for you. Can't say we were over the top about the place and probably won't make a return trip.

    Lobster Roll

Lobster roll at The Kitchen Café in Brewster. $19.99! Obviously outsourced lobster meat but still a good deal and very tasty. Order was served quite quickly. I like my lobster salad with a little more mayonnaise than most so I got some to add. I'd get this again! Pet peeve: I ordered black iced tea and got some flavored tea instead.

    Iced coffee.

I ordered a #3 turkey, roasted red pepper and pesto sandwich with a medium hot chocolate. Both were delicious! I was able to get a seat on the side. Inside is tight but a medium amount of seating. My food came out in about 5-10 minutes. The sandwich was delicious I just wish it was a little bite bigger but okay size for ~$10. The hot chocolate was also delicious but a little pricey ~$6. Overall so yummy and was fun to pick out some chocolate and try some goodies!

This is a hard place to rate. Is it a candy shop? Or is it a coffee shop? Actually it's both. For…read moresure they do an active business in the well stocked candy section and they make some very good chocolates. But most of the customers, myself included, seem to want it to be a coffee shop, a relaxing place to enjoy some coffee, some time with your devices, your book, or in conversation with friends. And there's nothing else nearby that fits the bill, so by defacto this is it. Unfortunately in this area it falls flat. Its interior more resembles a retail store than a cozy place to hang out with its closely spaced tables among merchandise shelves, a commercial feel, and it's been noisy and crowded every time I've been there.. My coffee, a standard small black, was good, and locally roasted, but loses points for being served in a paper cup that I fill for myself at the urn. For specialty drinks you get a number and wait to be called to the pickup window, the several waiting customers contributing to the noise and crowding. For me, a a big part of a coffee shop's overall rating is the quality of their pastries and sweets. Here's where they especially failed for me. They have many such items - an unusually large number actually, mostly slices of various cakes. But none are made in house, nobody could or would tell me who made them, and they were priced at up to and exceeding $12! That's not just high for a coffee shop, that's restaurant prices. At least in a restaurant your slice might be decorated with some fruit drizzle, whipped cream or ice cream and a cherry. But a sad slab of cake, naked on a plate made by who knows, for twelve dollars? No thanks. So instead I went over to the candy side. They have a large selection of chocolates, caramels, truffles, candied fruit slices, fudge, meltaways, all the usual forms, and all made by them. And every one that I have tried has been delicious. Before ordering my coffee I went to the counter, ordered four individual chocolates from the vast selection, and for under $5, sweets in hand, I got my coffee then went outside to the picnic area to relax. But even the outside wasn't so relaxing. It is a crowded, busy parking lot, and the picnic table is next to a Dumpster.

Its very cheap considering that you will get TWO shows in a row. the building is beautiful with amazing stain glass windows. the acoustics of the room are wonderful for music, amplifying it and holding the sound to perfection. Its intimate, and inviting; the perfect date place. The signers often involve you in the music and have you sing along.
