Charcutterie for dinner why not - A wooden charcuterie board displays an assortment of sliced cured meats, including salami and prosciutto, along with strawberries, nuts, and slices of cheese. A paper-wrapped breadstick and crispy bread slices are placed on top, creating a visually appealing presentation suitable for a dinner setting.

There was an initial snafu with our reservation for 9 people. We called the day before to push it back a day and when we came in they had it marked as cancelled. Then they said they had no room for us unless we sat inside and then after 20 mins of complaining they found a big enough table to seat us all outside. Sort of annoying. Luckily, the views of the ocean and amazing food made up for the snafu. We all enjoyed or meals. I had the creamy mushroom gnocchi; this came in a heavy garlic sauce with some veggies. Super delicious! Others in my group had the muscles, charcuterie, watermelon salad, special of the day; lobster, duck, and steak. To drink I had the cucumber cooler drink which was strong and refreshing. Our waitress (forgot her name) was from Jamaica and was super friendly. She gave special chocolate milk drinks to the 2 young kids in our group. I'd come back based on the delicious food and great service we received if in the area again. The whole grounds of this resort and restaurant were beautiful btw.

was served substandard food. rotten strawberries, unripe fruit, not a pleasant experience.

We had a late lunch with a cocktail here, four of us, on a super windy day. It was still nice to be outside in a lovely setting. You can see the bay in the distance. A wedding was happening at next level up. Crab cakes with pineapple were A plus. Burger on brioche, A. Butternut squash and apple soup, A-. Clam and corn fritters, B-. Cocktails, B. Setting A. Ocean Edge front lawn and beach bar scene also fun to check out. The resort is busy and trying to do well in Covid summer. Expensive but we enjoyed our afternoon there, two hours at Terrace, one hour walking around.

Can't believe all the bad reviews people wrote for this place!! We had 2 great meals here (lunch and dinner) and the food, atmosphere and service were good both times. The burger and lobster roll are great lunch options and come with crispy fries or salad. For dinner we had the burratta salad, swordfish tacos, ramen and filet mignon. All were delicious! The atmosphere is very resort-y here. You can see the ocean from the terrace and at night there are heating lamps to keep you warm from the chilly breeze.

Ocean Terrace at Ocean Edge - A balcony with a decorative railing and a flower box filled with multicolored pansies is shown in the foreground. Beyond the balcony, there are trees, residential houses with red roofs, and tennis courts. In the distance, a large body of water is visible under a partly cloudy blue sky, suggesting a scenic view from an elevated location.

Ocean Terrace at Ocean Edge is the perfect setting for a relaxing cocktail on a summer's day (or evening.) I've had the pleasure of stopping here on a number of occasions to enjoy a drink and the atmosphere. The drinks are beautifully prepared (excellent pours!), the setting is fantastic, and the staff is awesome! I always look forward to visiting. Great for groups, too.

Salmon with Brussels sprouts - A plated seafood dish with a piece of fish on top of a bed of vegetables and greens, garnished with crispy shredded vegetables. The dish is served with a sauce on a white rectangular plate, with a restaurant setting in the background including glasses and other plates.

We were very pleased with the food and service at the Ocean Terrace. The drinks were professionally made. The food was outstanding. We got the monkfish and salmon dishes

Amazing fish and chips! The lemon and capers sauce.. off the hook! Yeah, I said it. ;) - The image shows a white plate with a piece of fried chicken served with a creamy peppercorn sauce, a lemon half, and a small dish of ketchup. A metal basket filled with French fries is positioned on the plate, with some fries leaning out of the basket. In the background, there is a blue cocktail with a lime wedge, and a partially visible dish with a garnish. The setting appears to be a restaurant or bar with a dark table surface.

Beautiful view. Very overpriced mediocre food. Stick to a drink and appetizers. Entrees not worth the prices.

Cobies, did not disappoint! I had a fried scallop plate and he had the fried whole belly clam plate. Order at the window and get a buzzer when plates were ready. Outdoor seating area was very decorated with the Cape Cod vibe. Also invites you to have an iceceam after dinner, if you can handle all that food! There is handicap parking, and a ramp to the eating area. It is pricey, market price pending, but very delicious! Seasonal, so the last day would be the weekend after Labor day.

There were plenty of other bikers there (as well as locals and vacationers), so I figured it must be a good spot. It's one of those classic counter style seafood spots, with plenty of outdoor seating. Even with the long line, my food was ready pretty quickly. The restaurant had an ice cream counter, but I just stuck to the seafood. I went with half fried shrimp and half fried clam strips with fries. Lots of fried food! I preferred the shrimp over the clam strips because I found them to be a bit too breaded, but that's common. I would for sure come back again. Only thing that could have been better would have been if the restaurant was on the water!

I went for their current advertised Lobster roll special at $23.99. Ordered Exactly as advertised and was charged $25.99. I asked first if it was all claw and knuckle or if they use tail meat too. Oh, definitely both , she exclaimed! I found one small mangled piece of tail at the bottom and it included a sharp piece of shell that hurt my tongue. I told them and showed her the shell. All she did was explain how they try to get it all but they just can't sometimes. I looked at her and said that they aren't doing it right. I asked if she was going to offer me a partial refund and she refused. The Lobster bisque was not a bisque and I don't think there was any lobster in the kitchen when it was made, much less in the pot!! Cole slaw was covered in spicy pepper and neither of us could eat it. Fries were meh! My husband had the fried scallop platter and they were overcooked and super greasy. Disgustingly so. I DK why people like this place but there are so many good places around here where you can get a full service meal, in a real restaurant cooked by real trained chefs and served by professionals who know how to make consumers happy. Total bill with tip was $84.07!!! For a crappy meal with no service and not a clue about customer service. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this garbage.

What stands out: Some of the Peruvian / Colombian offerings are fantastic. Staff have a deep sense of kindness and hospitality. Even though they close at 8 p.m., they not only took the Pardner's just-under-the-wire order, but didn't rush us in the least. It wasn't until we'd finished and were on our way out that we noticed the hours -- and that we were 20 minutes past eight. The lobster ceviche was a touch spendy for the price, size, and the amount of lobster included in the dish. But it was very tasty, Peruvian in style and garnished with cancha and sweet potato, just the right amount of heat and acid. Empanadas were, I think, Colombian in style, made out of orange-tinged masa, beautifully deep fried with juicy innards -- wonderful. Tacos were made out of a soft flour tortilla and a hard corn taco shell, I guess not unlike a Taco Bell "chalupa." It was not what the Pardner was hoping for, unfortunately. There were two tacos to an order, which averaged out to be $9 or $10 a taco. Probably a bit steep for those of us who are lucky enough to be in a place where good south and Latin American food is more commonplace. This is the kind of menu I want to get to know. Not everything is to our own personal tastes, but there are some things that this place seems to do very, very well. I'd like to come back for those.
