Very cute bakery with a huge selection and gets very busy in the summer (line out the door type of busy) so it's best to get there as early as you can. The boxes are Tiffany & Co. colored which is super cute and girl coded. All of the pastries are awesome. We got a wide variety and I can't say that we had any bad one, it was all good!

Stoped to grab breakfast & a coffee, the New Yorker croissant was so flaky and the cream cheese filling was the perfect amount. The Nutella was also delicious!

    Blueberry danish

Blueberry danish is more of bread texture than croissant texture which I don't mind given the loads of blueberries included and you may want to heat up slightly. Turkey Asiago cheese croissant is a nice option along with the nest for savory options. Sticky bun and cranberry granola cookie are good snacks.

I've been coming to Eat Cake 4 Breakfast for years. We came back the weekend after their grand re-opening and were just as pleased! The turkey asiago croissant was the best I've ever had there. We also got their bread pudding, chocolate pistachio croissant, and brewster bun which were all fantastic. A must-visit on Cape!

House guests discovered this bakery and treated us to some AMAZING pastries. The almond croissant and the chocolate croissant were sinful. We try not to sin too often with sugar but these temptations were fabulous. Thank you guests!

Assortment of Pastries (Brewster Bun and Toffee Cookie is a must!)

I love Eat Cake 4 Breakfast and I find it challenging to not come here every morning! Some people complain about the line, but I have never seen such a fast moving line - the team at Eat Cake has a full proof system! Some of my favorites that you have to try, Savory: the New Yorker and Ham and Swiss Croissant, any of the quiches Sweet: Sticky Bun, Brewster Bun, Seasonal Fruit Pastry, all the cookies

I ordered a #3 turkey, roasted red pepper and pesto sandwich with a medium hot chocolate. Both were delicious! I was able to get a seat on the side. Inside is tight but a medium amount of seating. My food came out in about 5-10 minutes. The sandwich was delicious I just wish it was a little bite bigger but okay size for ~$10. The hot chocolate was also delicious but a little pricey ~$6. Overall so yummy and was fun to pick out some chocolate and try some goodies!

This is a hard place to rate. Is it a candy shop? Or is it a coffee shop? Actually it's both. For…read moresure they do an active business in the well stocked candy section and they make some very good chocolates. But most of the customers, myself included, seem to want it to be a coffee shop, a relaxing place to enjoy some coffee, some time with your devices, your book, or in conversation with friends. And there's nothing else nearby that fits the bill, so by defacto this is it. Unfortunately in this area it falls flat. Its interior more resembles a retail store than a cozy place to hang out with its closely spaced tables among merchandise shelves, a commercial feel, and it's been noisy and crowded every time I've been there.. My coffee, a standard small black, was good, and locally roasted, but loses points for being served in a paper cup that I fill for myself at the urn. For specialty drinks you get a number and wait to be called to the pickup window, the several waiting customers contributing to the noise and crowding. For me, a a big part of a coffee shop's overall rating is the quality of their pastries and sweets. Here's where they especially failed for me. They have many such items - an unusually large number actually, mostly slices of various cakes. But none are made in house, nobody could or would tell me who made them, and they were priced at up to and exceeding $12! That's not just high for a coffee shop, that's restaurant prices. At least in a restaurant your slice might be decorated with some fruit drizzle, whipped cream or ice cream and a cherry. But a sad slab of cake, naked on a plate made by who knows, for twelve dollars? No thanks. So instead I went over to the candy side. They have a large selection of chocolates, caramels, truffles, candied fruit slices, fudge, meltaways, all the usual forms, and all made by them. And every one that I have tried has been delicious. Before ordering my coffee I went to the counter, ordered four individual chocolates from the vast selection, and for under $5, sweets in hand, I got my coffee then went outside to the picnic area to relax. But even the outside wasn't so relaxing. It is a crowded, busy parking lot, and the picnic table is next to a Dumpster.

And it wasn't cheap but I don't feel we were being fleeced eating it. It was a fun treat. We loved it. When the ice cream cafe came in and stole all the business I felt bad and thought it seemed unfair. I would try to get my family to patronize E&B. Kids weren't inclined. Tonight I made them go, i said give it a chance. Well I am fully on the kids' side now. It is really sub par. Super expensive. Half hearted service. Slow. No samples - which for these prices is bizarre. Only okay ice cream. It makes me sad. I wan't to be faithful to the old place --but we will absolutely never go back. 100 yards away is a happy, peppy ice cream store with slew of flavors and carefully made well scooped cones. My kid got a root beer float at Emack tonight. I think it was 9 dollars. A teeny non ball mush of ice cream dumped at the base of a small plastic cup and a can of soda. It was worse than getting fast food. I mean what? My other kid got a small cone. I tipped the servers and left $20 dollars poorer. You must be kidding me. It is like they want to go out of business. They need to regroup or something. It isn't working.

We came during Sunday lunchtime and didn't have to wait super long to get our food (a god-send, considering how famished I was). They have an extensive menu of basically everything seafood. - Lobster panini: I have a soft spot for paninis. Filled with generous chunks of lobster and lots of cheese, this one was an elevated take on a grilled cheese. Bread was perfectly nice and toasted, with beautiful griddle marks, and didn't scrape the roof of my mouth bloody. 10/10! - Caesar salad with crab cake and scallops. Another must-order. My favorite part of this meal was the crab cake - so moist and dense and well-seasoned, stuffed with crab meat, no filler at all. The scallops were expertly cooked, a nice sear on the outside and tender in the middle, but I would have eaten another crab cake. The only thing I'd skip next time was the lobster bisque, which was just okay, kind of one-note, and not much lobster bits. And I wish they had bottles/cans of drinks, instead of fountain cups with no refills - my cousins/friends living in Europe would be horrified at how quickly I demolished a medium size cup of fountain soda (which, to my eye, looked practically kiddie-sized). Seating: right out front next to the road, indoors, and a back patio. If not for the bikes, we would have picked the back, which was a lot quieter and less dusty. I kept eyeing the ice cream selection but decided, in a rare show of restraint, not to get any, considering I had to bike back to the parking lot.
