We're in town for bday celebration. Went to shop at 930am and they were already out of certain flavors! Driveway is small. Staff were friendly in person. Purchased chocolate pie, Dutch apple, & strawberry Rhubarb All were delicious!! Highly recommend. Prices were very reasonable. read more

Driving by, you almost blink and can miss Marion's Pie Shop. They've got a tiny lot for four or so cars to squeeze into and a cozy shop front. First and foremost, they do pies. But we came here for lobster rolls and are so glad we did. We ordered at the counter with no-fuss service and in no time ours were ready to go and came with potato chips. They were $24.95 each and were absolutely loaded. Classically served cold and on lettuce, this was a delicious roll. The lobster was sweet and the sauce complimented it, not overbearing but just right. Their bread was soft and fluffy. The perfect spot. We sat outside in some of their shaded lawn chairs and picnic tables. You could tell this place is popular by the turnaround of cars that come and go. read more

Get here early. This is a very small pie shop and extremely popular. Service is quick and friendly, but don't expect to get much if you're not there in a timely manner. If you're showing up two hours before closing, don't expect much. Definitely would love to go back and try some other items. read more

Always a good experience at Marion's! We typically walk because parking is limited, especially during the busy summer. There's a lovely area to sit outside and enjoy your treats! Service on a weekday morning was fast and friendly. This trip, I tried the "cinna cruff" - it was a delightful mix of cinnamon roll, muffin, and croissant. Something I didn't even think could exist! read more

As always, Marion's does not disappoint. One of the best "hidden" gems on the cape! Don't sleep on their soups read more

Here is my honest opinion of the pies we purchased from Marion's Pie Shop: * Cinnamon Roll: Good * Orange Roll: Okay -- it lacked much of the orange flavor I was expecting. * Mixed Berry Pie: Mediocre * Blueberry Pie: TERRIBLE The pies were not immediately available, so we placed our order and were told to come back to pick them up. We checked the business hours and saw they were open until 5:00 PM, so we planned to return before closing. Around 3:00 PM, we received a call letting us know that we were the last order waiting for pickup and asking if we could come get the pies so they could go home for the day. We were honestly shocked. It was our understanding that we had until the posted closing time to pick up an order. If the business needed customers to pick up orders earlier than closing, we feel that should have been communicated when the order was placed. What was even more disappointing was the owner's initial response to my review. Rather than thanking us for our business or acknowledging our frustration with the pickup situation, the response came across as dismissive. I'm sharing this because reviews are meant to reflect our personal experiences. Unfortunately, both the quality of some of the pies and the customer service experience left us disappointed. Cindy After reading your response i think you misunderstood what happened here. I encourage you to be more grateful for your customers. read more

While driving back to the place we were staying we saw the sign for Marion's. It is not an eat in place, all take out. We picked up the Chicken Pot pie with vegetables and a cinnamon roll. We took our pie back to our place and popped it in the oven. The pie was filled with white meat, carrots and peas. But mostly chicken!! We warmed up the light tasty gravy. The gravy was a great compliment since the pie was so stuffed with chicken! Service was from a counter, and quick. We arrived an hour before closing and most all the display cases were empty. The atmosphere was like a cozy bakery. Totally satisfying!! We will go back. read more

I came back to get a small bumbleberry and baileyberry pie (a little less than $10 each). To my surprise, this time the bumbleberry tasted better to me while the baileyberry was more tart than I remembered. Probably dependent on the year's berries. Either way, the crust and pie pastry itself was still very good. Apparently, will last 4-5 days in the fridge. read more

The lobster roll was a 5 - the small strawberry rhubarb pie sadly a 1, with top and bottom crust thick enough to take up about a third of the small pie. Not a flaky crust, with what could best be described as a soggy bottom. As a decent baker (but a bad pie maker) I'd have hoped for a better result after reading amazing reviews. Maybe it was just a bad day read more

Got quite a few pies here to go as they were about to close. Got chicken, seafood, key lime, apple. The chicken pie was delicious as we baked it at 350F for 30 min per instructions. This was the star pie as one pour the gravy over when serving. Chunks of chicken oozed out. The seasoning was perfect as most other chicken pot pies are either bland or overly salty. And at under $20 for this big pie well worth it. The seafood pie was similarly tasty. Had just enough room to take in a sliver of key lime which was refreshing and filling at the same time. Great quick easy dinner. What a plus they have both savory and desserty pies. Will BE Back! read more

Terrible service got yelled at after being told we could exchange a cold hard flavorless pie. Waste of money the reviews are not accurate on this one read more

We took home wonderfully delicious baked goods from Marion's. Everything was so well prepared. The cinnamon buns were over generous in size and reheated beautifully for breakfast the next day. The beefsteak pie was flavorful and the crust was perfect. The spinach and feta croissant was flaky and mouth watering. The brownies were sumptuous and rich with deep chocolate flavor. I am not a cookie fan, but the chocolate chip cookies got two thumbs up from my son. We are planning to order again soon read more

We thought all of the "you have to go to Marion's" suggestions we got from friends were overblown, but now I see why it is so popular. It is VERY tiny, so the line in the mornings is often out the door. But that's because people get there to snap up the pastries, including the Chatham Muffins, which are rolled in butter and cinnamon sugar and are very addictive! The only pies early in the morning are typically Dutch apple, so the key is to order when you're there any pies you want later in the day, or call them. And please, whatever you do, get a dozen of their Parker House rolls....I've never had better! read more

I have been a customer for many years, but I was pretty disappointed in my recent purchase of a chicken pie. The pies are usually filled with lot of nice chunks of chicken, and the crust is delicious. In this pie, the chicken was cut up into little pieces, so small I could barely find them. It was mostly lots of crust and a few vegetables. I hope this was a one time thing, and not the way the pies are being made now. read more

Great tasting pies. Friendly and great service. Will visit over and over to purchase their pies

Marion's makes good pies. Not life-changing, but decent. I think they churn out so many pies, they seem mass produced. The good: they have a ton of flavors (fruit pies, cream pies, savory, pot pies...). Huge selection of pies. The quality is decent. The bad: it is tiny, and gets super crowded. They yell at you if someone holds the door open, so you just wait for people to leave and then squeeze in. The parking lot is so small and tight for the volume of cars coming and going. read more

My friend and I came here early one summer morning when it hadn't even officially opened yet and a line was formed outside. The key is definitely aim to get here a little before they open. It's fun standing in line for a cute pie shop down the cape (it kindve gave me high school rom com feel good tv shows in a beach town type energy doing this) but parking is limited so make sure you get in on time! By the time we got our breakfast pastries and headed out, the line outside was nearly doubled. And that's in the span of 5-10 minutes! Wild. Be sure to time it right! We ordered a box full of different breakfast pastries-- raspberry turnovers, croissants, and their cinnamon nut orange rolls which are all the rave on Yelp. All were good but I'll need to get a pie next time! read more

My sister and I just returned from a lunch-time splurge: chili, spinach and feta croissant, Portugese kale soup, chocolate chip cookies, and hermit cookies. We finished lunch (and most of this food) and, as always, it far exceeded expectations. We ordered pies for Thanksgiving last week and will pick them up next Wednesday. I purchase two chicken parmesan meals at a time and keep them in the freezer for a protein-rich, very tasty series of meals. Each package contains two full chicken breasts and easily accommodates two meals. The staff here are very friendly. (Family and friends have been stopping here and ordering holiday pies for more than 2 decades.) "Off-season" is an ideal time to stop here: Easy to park, full display cases and refrigerators, and no crush in the customer space. Ordering ahead (any time) is recommended. read more

I've been going to this place for years. My favorite is their Peach Pie. It's just delicious. The inside of the store was so small, but it felt so authentic. It was a very busy shop which made me think the business was a local favorite. They offered many pre ordered options and the sweets in the case were all delicious looking. I had a rice crispy so I can't say much about the pies but I am sure they are wonderful. read more

My family makes a point to stop in here whenever we are on the cape. Pies are great - but they may sell out of your favorite ones quickly! I did have one or two pies where the crust wasn't fully cooked on the bottom - but overall great place to checkout! Update the owner reached out to me to address the issues- my fault I did the review a few months later but I appreciate her trying to correct it! Great service read more

Our first trip to Marian's Pie Shop won't be the last--we ordered a blueberry pie the day before and picked it up around noon, just as it came out of the oven. The crust was tender and held the luscious blueberry filling, which made it easy to cut and serve--simply delish! We will definitely be back next year. read more

We love Marions! They have cookies, cinnamon rolls, dessert pies, dinner pies, soup, bread and even lobster rolls. You can get a small pie for $9. Closed on Mondays and come early if you need a specific flavor, especially on the weekends! They do run out. For some reason key lime pie is one of the few they don't sell in the small size, which is a bummer! They do have a ton of options, so if you're open to trying something, you will definitely find a pie even later in the day! Can't speak on their savory food because we didn't try any of it, but were surprised at not only how much they had but also how much of it people were ordering! We thought it was just pies. read more

Fabulous fresh pies! Call to order as they sell many. They also do great lobster rolls and breakfast pastries Been coming here for years read more

They had only one pie (lemon meringue) available for sale at 10 am on a weekday. They have more than a dozen flavors on their menu. Maybe they sold out of literally everything two hrs after opening? Seems odd so why not just make more pies? We tried the ham and cheese croissant pockets, they were ok but not worth a special trip. Contrary to the owner's claim the employees did not inform me of any other options at the time nor did they say to wait. If you have a policy of not selling pies to walk-in customers before a certain time of day, then have your employees state as such. This isn't rocket science. Before posting snarky replies to customers perhaps educate and train your staff! Your attitude proves your problem. Ill never recommend your business to anyone as I dont believe in giving money to sorry excuses of a business. read more

I wanted to love this place but the pie was a little disappointing. We tried the Baileyberry pie- essentially a mixed berry pie and the Peach raspberry pie. The baileyberry pie was decent but the peach raspberry pie was kind of gross- the peaches were either canned or weirdly cooked and the crust was a bit doughy and undercooked. We also got cinnamon buns which were large and yummy- although a bit dense for my taste- and a chocolate chip cookie which was delicious! The service was great and everything was decently priced. I had high hopes based on the other reviews but they weren't met :( read more

I tend to be very picky about bakeries. I do not like the artificial fatty film that many pastries leave in the mouth. Additionally, I want a flaky, tender, and delicious pie crust that is heavily filled. That said, Marion's does not disappoint. We have been going to Marion's for years when we visit the Cape and always enjoy our purchases. As others have indicated, the shop can get VERY busy during high season. The staff is friendly, helpful and efficient despite the chaos. We love all the "berry" pies-Bumbleberry, Razzleberry & Baileyberry and the Cran Peach Praline is delicious! Truly you cannot go wrong, just work your way down the menu. The only savory pie we have tried was the Hamburger and it was a hit. They have loads of comfort foods as well, so you do not have to slave away in the kitchen on vacation or in life. The breads are great to have on hand for a quick breakfast and the 7 Layer Bars and Pecan Squares are a wonderful afternoon pick me up. read more
