I came Wednesday afternoon in Oct, and there was steady traffic. Nice space inside, good service. I would study here. Didn't try the food, no vegan pastry options. Pumpkin spice latte was amazing and well balanced!! Highly recommend. Espresso was a tiny bit bitter but overall great .The barista a tall woman with blonde and brown hair and hoop earrings was good. Alternative milks are +$1 which is high compared to other cafes unfortunately

We wanted to try a fun coffee place during our stay in Brewster and Snowy Owl was just the place! They have a great selection of speciality lattes and coffee, which I got one that was suppose to taste like a cherry cola. It was super unique and quite delicious. Nice ambiance and decor in the place, service was upbeat and quick. Lots of merch and beans for sale as well.

Clearly a trendy spot but the coffee was weak and the blueberry muffin was dry. Try someplace else...

I was pessimistic about the food options for vegetarian/vegan diets on a sparsely populated…read morepeninsula known for seafood, but this place delivered. It was an order at the counter setup, and included a small menu of prepared foods, a robust baked goods spread, and beverages aplenty. I didn't really need a donut, but their Mexican chocolate donut was unbelievably good, delivering pure chocolate notes without some of the oily off tastes that low quality donuts bring, and a tantalizing mix of sugar and spice on top. It was a great combination with a plain matcha; wacky matcha flavors are all the rage, but straight matcha (and oat milk) side by side with a dynamic sweet flavor is a good way of getting to the same gustatory pleasure. A salad had some nice thinly shaved vegetables and quite a mix of greens. I might like to see them get deeper into the vegan protein game with some tofu or other bean-based option, but the variety of delicious things they did had would be enough to get me to come back.

When I come back to the CAPE the first restaurant I go to is SUNBIRD because they always have new twists and local ingredients for old FAVORITES. There are always some new faces at the front counters but each year they are younger and sweeter, more intelligent, and well informed about the ingredients of each menu item. The kitchen is attentive to every little nuance making foods healthy but sumptuous and tasteful. I was starved when I arrived on a redeye from LA and I ordered the Kimchi breakfast tacos and the quinoa porridge. The Kimchi spiced up the corn tortillas, egg and cheese with savory and tangy fermented cabbage. The porridge was "heartwarming" quinoa steamed in coconut milk and topped with berries, dried apricots. If you want to save time you can call in your order or book on-line. EATING WITH YOUR FAMILY? SUNBIRD will prove "yummy" and "healthy !!!!! I KEEP COMING BACK BECAUSE ITS GOOD FOR ME!

from the website:…read more "Since 1974, First Encounter has been a premiere venue on Cape Cod for the enjoyment of live acoustic music of all kinds; including blues, traditional and contemporary folk, bluegrass, gospel and more. We are a non-profit organization staffed completely by volunteers. Concerts are held twice each month throughout the year. First Encounter provides a rare opportunity to listen to a variety of fine music in a smoke and alcohol free environment. We offer home-baked treats and hot and cold beverages. Children are welcome and admitted free, so it's a great place to go as a family. Here at our website you can find a schedule of our upcoming concerts, information on mailings and memberships and directions so you can find us." this place is famous, seriously it has had some big names in blues and folk. Its very cheap considering that you will get TWO shows in a row. the building is beautiful with amazing stain glass windows. the acoustics of the room are wonderful for music, amplifying it and holding the sound to perfection. Its intimate, and inviting; the perfect date place. The signers often involve you in the music and have you sing along. It will fill up fast, because this is where the locals go for music on cape cod. Id recommend for bigger shows showing up 20 min ahead of time. Of course they will fit you in, as you can always stand. visit website http://www.firstencounter.org/ for info and to see if there is a concert

Stopped in for a cocktail before heading down to Bayzos for dinner…read more Bartender was very friendly but sadly mixed up my drink. I ordered the island Aperol. Noticed he made a regular. I asked him if it was the coconut one and he simply squirted in the coconut lime syrup. I didn't feel like correcting him again, as the drink also called for guava. He seemed like he wasn't sure - it's on the menu though. Basically had a regular Aperol, which is fine. But was a bit bummed. Aside from that, it was easy to grab a bar top seat, and it was a lovely room with so much history! Really enjoyed the space. Beautiful fireplace and lovely decor.

Loved their lobster appetizer but it's no longer on the menu. Big problem last week. Got dressed up, drove all the way there from Harwich and sadly it was closed - front staff want sure how long. Only option was Bayzos pub. So, without another choice, we went there. The acoustics in this pub are horrendous. 4 couples around us were unable to hear their partners across from them and the music had not even begun yet! There was an exceedingly loud woman and her group who was the main source of this disturbance and the wait staff and frontman ignored it entirely. It got so bad I jumped up and asked the party to reduce their full on loudest laughter and screaming stories that we could all hear every single word of. The guy was obnoxious and almost picked a fight with me- a Petit woman! All the couples around us came over to thank me one by one as they left the restaurant- they could finally enjoy the rest of their evening meal and one couple Bought us drinks! The real issue here is twofold. No where on their website does the oceans Edge state the Rosecommons room is closed! Still after several days- as I keep checking. and the issue of the acoustics really needs to be addressed in this pub. Sound barriers can be added to the ceiling and even some of the walls to make this an enjoyable place for everyone! And the staff should be alert for exceedingly loud people and step in so their patrons don't have to do their job for them!
