They have outdoor seating too but it was rainy so we couldn't sit outside. Our server was great, very friendly and attentive but never hovering. We weren't super hungry so we went right for entrees and skipped appetizers. I got the Seafood Risotto special-- which came with clams, scallops, shrimp and lobster- plenty of each portion! This was amazing and huge. Definitely worth the price. My husband got the swordfish special which had lobster meat and hollandaise on top and served over cous cous- also delicious. We can not wait to come back and try more

I asked them if they could recommend another location that maybe doesn't, and they recommended Clancy's Restaurant. I called Clancy's about 16 minutes before the opened. It rang a lot and then went to their voicemail for which I left a detailed voicemail along with my name and phone number and then I stated that if they don't call back I'd try again when they are open. 5:04 PM (when they're open), I called back because no one called me back nor sent a text. All of my calls went straight to voicemail. I called additional times just in case they were busy or couldn't answer the phone. This is very rude and unprofessional. A non-answer doesn't provide me with the answer to my question. I will not be dining here, even if they do separate frying the cod fish from the shellfish. Their website does not list this information. The best way to find out is to call and inquire. Happy eats !

Thought I was in order. Upscale restaurant where we spent well over $500. Never served bread until I asked several times. Owner, expediter never came to the table to inquire.. one of my guests said that the lobster risotto was in edible and crunchy. Very expensive meals and small portions. Each person was to get their own check, including, unbelievably, a four dollar plating fee for a cake that I brought. Waitress gave every one their checks. I gave her my credit card and she put it through. Then came up to me to tell me she had forgotten to put the four dollar fee on everyone's plate so she dumped $32 on mine. In an upscale restaurant, this would not have happened.. I wrote to the owner after my meal, telling him my thoughts, and he never bothered to get back. Unacceptable so that is the reason why I was forced to write this review. Find another place

My wife really wanted to enjoy her cappuccino in a regular cup rather than a paper one. When the young lady at the register found out it was my wife's birthday, she surprised her by gifting her the cup as a birthday present! It was such a kind and unexpected gesture, and it made the visit feel especially memorable. The food and desserts were delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. But what really stood out was the genuine kindness and hospitality. Little gestures like this can make a birthday feel truly special. Thank you, Summer House Cafe, for making my wife's birthday a little brighter. We'll remember it!

This new location is definitely a better size for the cafe for sure. I liked the menu! Came twice during my stay at the cape. Ordered the marshmallow latte the first time around and LOVED IT! Second visit I grabbed a coconut special the barista suggested. I enjoyed the marshmallow one a bit more! Grabbed my husband the cold brew and he didn't love it as much as he thought he would. He wasn't a huge fan of the bitter taste. He's ordered other items from snowy owl that he loves. This one just was particularly his favorite. Staff is super nice and helpful! Love all the outdoor seating! Also really love their little outdoor library!

The frothing at Starbucks is better and that's not saying much. Maybe it was just an off day or a new barista but when both drinks were horrible it's enough to try other places instead.
