I've been lucky enough to visit Liberty Artisanal Bakery the last two weekends! The baked goods are phenomenal. I also got an iced vanilla latte and it was awesome. The barista told me they make their own vanilla syrup as well. Definitely go and enjoy!

I get a lot excited entering a bakery. Gluten is my friend (tell that to my gut, please). I drive miles and hours for a new bakery experience. Scones are my weakness. When I heard Chatham had a new bakery, I got a little excited. O.K., I lost my mind a little. You see, I drive to New Bedford to The Baker as it's quite simply the best bakery in the S. Coast. Now, I have a new addiction. LAB is sublime. I arrived 9:30 to a smal line. Inside, the place is immaculate. I ordered a few different breads and 3 of my life favorites; Swedish Coffee Buns. In Sweden, I had my first at the Volvo Factory and ate my way through Sweden sampling these treasures. Recently we devoured at Hart in Copenhagen. When I saw these Fika delights today, I scored 3. Also purchased was a delicious flakey croissant. For this treat to withstand tropical humidity was astounding. I cannot wait to try when the humidty leaves. Thank you LAB, you are enhanced my life in the best possible way.

Very pleasant service. Excellent cappuccino like one would have in Italia. Pastry was light, delicate, wonderful beans of flavors, and not over-sugared. Top notch, high quality bakery.

Love this place!! Great new bakery in Chatham with good coffee and amazing fresh bread and pastries. Recommend getting there for/soon after opening to make sure you can get stuff before everything sells out, but the trip is always worth it. Personal favs are the cheddar and chive scones/biscuits and the blueberry cornmeal scone. The fresh bread is also great!!

Excellent scones and coffee, but pretty pricey! Cute store front and very clean. Breads looked good too.

Great breads. Some of the best I've ever had, on cape or off. Artisanal is an understatement.

Lunch is always easy, with well-made sandwiches, fresh ingredients, and a great selection depending on what you're in the mood for. My go-to is the "Dinghy." The staff are always friendly, attentive, and hardworking. They keep the line moving while still making sure everyone is taken care of and happy. The owner is also often there working side by side with the staff, which says a lot about the kind of place this is. Everything is consistently fresh and excellent quality. Highly recommend!

Luckily, a lot of their other lunch sandwiches sounded great, so we decided to try the bathing beauty and the gale. Both were fantastic, but the bathing beauty was the winner. Creamy mozzarella, ripe tomato, and salty prosciutto. Service was quick even with a big crowd, and we scored a nice table to enjoy our food inside. Even without our beloved egg salad BLT, we'll definitely come back again!

Apparently, the owner wanted to re-focus on that part of the business. *shrug* I used to come here around opening and see a lengthy line. The croissants are some of the best in the area. The plain croissant is flaky and light. The ham & cheese croissant is more of a croque monsieur and it's a pretty substantial offering, full of cheese, ham, and béchamel sauce. The individual tarts (lemon, raspberry, etc.) and cakes are beautifully designed and are appropriately sweet. The tart crusts were legit. I'll miss coming here for pastries/desserts. Maybe I'll try the bistro when it opens, but now I've found a new spot on the Cape for French patisserie and viennoiserie items.
