The hot chocolate and lattes are not good. I don't recommend them at all. They're bitter. You can't taste any flavor shots in the lattes. But the food is great. It was the only place open for breakfast midweek one day, so we filled up. Breakfast sandwiches were simple but good. Cupcakes were very moist even the next day. Whoopie pies have too much frosting, but if you just scrape some off, they're great. Pistachio muffins were great, too. Don't sleep on the food here. read more

Chatham Perk was always a great go to place for some bagels and coffee when in the area. Yes summertime could be a little busy with people ordering unbelievable numbers of breakfast sandwiches and science experiments for drinks but it always seemed to flow well enough. I was surprised to see the Cape Cod coffee logo all over the place when I arrived as I did not think that was their coffee supplier. It turns out that Cape Cod coffee purchased this business which did not excite me because I have had mediocre experiences at Cape Cod coffee locations. I stopped in here today and the crowd wasn't overwhelming. I tried to order a plain bagel with plain cream cheese and a small coffee however was told that they were out of plain bagels, which at 11 o'clock in the morning isn't necessary surprising I ordered a sesame bagel instead The clerk informed me that it was taking more than 15 minutes for breakfast sandwiches. I asked her if that included a toasted bagel and she said that yes, it would. I appreciate the fact that she was very upfront about it rather than having me wait unknowingly. I decided to simply skip the coffee and bagel. Unfortunately, my fear is that Cape Cod coffee has ruined a nice local business. read more

Chatham Perk was a nice find when coffee shops are not in great supply near the city's downtown. They were very friendly and helpful, and the cupcakes and donuts were pretty good. I also tried their Portuguese muffin (like an English muffin but bigger) with egg and sausage. It was above average but not great. The caramel latte was also above average but not great. But the ambiance was good and overall it was a good experience. Note: they don't have Wi-Fi and they have a sign that tells you they prefer chatting to laptops - consider yourself warned. read more

The donut was stale and the chai latte was basically just milk I almost always drink and eat everything I get in places but this is one of the first times I actively chose not to eat the donut and drink the latte. Coffee is pretty average, breakfast sandwiches are typical breakfast sandwiches nothing crazy special. Staff are always polite and friendly. Both locations have a cute cozy atmosphere. If you're looking for a cup of joe it's a nice place. But if you're looking for a crazy out of this world drink experience your best bet is to find other options. read more

They are open! As of Feb 8,2025. I had the egg white breakfast sandwich on a sesame bagel and it went hard. You had the egg whites sausage tomato spinach and I added a hash brown. What a great & easy place to grab a quick breakfast & coffee if you're not looking for a full sit down place. They do have tables inside (a small amount), as well as a patio outside which is nice too but not in the shade. I had their iced latte which was perfect for this particular hot day. I also had their almond croissant which was super fresh, as well as their spinach quiche. I highly recommend this for any beach goers or someone on the go who needs a quick pick me up. Besides really good coffee, there's a wide variety of breakfast and lunch items on the menu, from smoothies, baked goods, to great sandwiches (they stop making them @2pm). This is the best place I visited on Cape. The sandwiches are so fresh and delicious, and the coffee is to die for! I've had their hazelnut coffee brewed at home, but the coconut in the store is what dreams are made of. The owner, Cat, is so friendly and welcoming. I grew up near Worcester and have fond memories of trips to Water Street to purchase bagels from Widoff's. I have not found a bagel in MA that rival's Widoff's carbo creations. Flash forward 30+ years and today, I walked into Chatham Perk for my first time. It was packed with locals and tourists. It's a mix mash of a bakery, coffee spot, juice bar and cafe. I wanted coffee and a bagel, specifically, a mocha latte. Well, they use chocolate syrup so I passed. Denmark and Sweden and some amazing coffee shops in New England set the bar and when folks use Hershey's or other syrups, it's just plain wrong. I skipped the coffee and ordered a juice and a bagel. The bagels are from some place in NY. Let me just skip to the point; these bagels are legit perfect. Crusty outside, chewy inside. I was a very happy girl. The juice was darn good too! Lastly, I had a scone as well. Don't worry, I ran 3 miles before all of this..anyway, I digress, the scone was perfect as well; crusty, lots of berries and a nice chewy inside. Unbeknownst to us, we arrived just at closing, stopping on a whim while driving. Sean and everyone working with him could not have been more friendly and accommodating, encouraging us to take our time in placing an order. My custom made Americano was delicious and the cookie delectable. Loved the ambience and the outside seating for catching some late afternoon sun.
